Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Wilmington-Newark - Niuarkas

We stayed overnight for a wedding. It's a great location right off the highway. A few things I would change is the television was glitchy and house keeping came at 9am and 10:30 to ask me if I was checking out but checkout was not until twelve. Other than that everything was good. I would stay again and recommend as well.

Clean, no odors, reasonably comfortable beds (pillows just OK). Continental breakfast was fine, though food of mixed quality... But could find plenty of decent food, didn't run out of anything during serving hours. Friendly & helpful staff. Convenient access to highways.

My family had to make last minute reservations for a funeral and the Holiday Inn provided everything we needed - good location (easy access to interstate), spacious room, clean bed and FULL breakfast each morning. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express Newark. Everything at the hotel was great (especially the breakfast). The area looks a little rough. I must admit that I was a little worried as we drove through the area we had to in order to get to the hotel, but we had no problems. I was very impressed with the free breakfast. Modern hotels in this price category have no soul. Rooms are spartanly appointed with pre-fab furniture components made in China. Hideous decor. Horrible food. American hotels should make every effort to buy domestically produced components. ......oh, and did I mention the food would have been better at a cheap greasy spoon.

Our stay ended up being ok. The bed we had was not very confortable for us. The remote on he t.v for some reason was very slow. took us forever to change the channel. Upon our arrival while just getting settled into the room my girlfriend and i came upon something very disdurbing, We found what looked to be 2 genitail hairs on the pillow.

Best hotel in the area. I sta y here 3-4 times year. Clean, comfy & good breakfast. Indoor pool is great extra!

It was super clean and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The indoor pool was quite small, but we had it to ourselves on a late Friday afternoon. The staff was very attentive, especially with the breakfast buffet. They quickly replenished anything that ran low.

This hotel is conviently located off of I-95 and nearby highways. I stayed there because my twin sons were competing in the Olympics all weekend at Deleware State University. The final […] day of competition I had to fill up my cooler with Ice and there was none left in the ice machines of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floors. I was in panic and concerned given the temps were 100+-105 and the kids needed cool drinks all day. I asked at the front desk and they allowed me to get ice from the main kitchen. Clean Rooms Furniture and amenitties look new. Breakfast Buffet is tasty wth different entre options daily. There are not any good restaurants in a walkable distance from the hotel

I had recently stayed on a Holiday Inn Express in NYC and was very pleasantly surprised, so I was hoping for the same at this location. I was not disappointed! We were in town for a sports tournament and the only negative is the lack of a pool, which my son wold have enjoyed after 3 games. We typically stay at higher end hotels for vacations, but, after two very satisfactory experiences, would feel perfectly comfortable staying at Holiday Inn Express Hotels for short-term stays in the future. We stayed here for the Dover Spring races and it's about a 40 minute drive from the racetrack, but well worth the stay. Price was great and so was the room!
