"Wonderful Birthday Stay"
We were VERY pleased with the Hotel and the staff. We stayed at this hotel while out of town for a Birthday weekend. The staff at the Hotel were wonderful and did everything they could to insure we had a WONDERFUL stay and we had a beyond wonderful time. "Convenient, clean, but very over-priced"
The hotel is outdated and looks much better online than it really is. I stayed there because it is walking distance to the Carolina Theater and other downtown locations. It was clean, no complaints there. I had called the day before to speak to a concierge during business hours. The concierge has already left. I was told I would get a call back and […] I did not. Plain and simple, it is over-priced. Nothing wrong with the place. I just thought I would get more for what I paid. "Downtown Marriott in Greensboro"
I had read about this hotel showing it's age and being a bit run down, but I certainly didn't see it. The hotel common areas were clean and bright. The pool area was very nice as well. Our room was very nice. The entire hotel looked like it had been refurbished recently. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. We had to be at the Amtrak station early […] the next morning so the hotel location (about a mile from the station) was ideal. Cab service to and from was very punctual and polite. overall decent hotel with the exception of the beds...it seems like all Marriot hotels have sub-par bedding make for an uncomfortable night's sleep
"Downtown Greensboro Marriot"
Very nice exercise room for those who want to get ina good work out. Bring your ear phones. All the elipticals and exercise bikes have mini tv monitors to watch and listen to as long as you have your ear phones. Also, good breakfast buffet that is served until noon. Restaurant was not crowed and was quiet and pleasant.

"Downtown Greensboro NC"
The staff was great and friendly. Started the Valet service. Morning shift is much better than the night. Had to park my own car with no one there. Steak is amazing, but the crab was not fresh and tasted as such. Great hot tub, pool, and exercise room.

We stayed one night, check in as well as check out was quick and easy. The staff was amazing and friendly, even during a very busy weekend crowd. The parking building was convenient, well-lit and those elevators were smooth and quick. We made the comment we wished the elevators in the parking buildings at the beach were that fast and smooth. The beds […] at the Marriott were amazing, with lots of fluffy pillows. The bathroom was well-stocked and the black-out curtains were appreciated. I would most definitely stay there again. Not the best, not the worst.
"wonderful hotel,marriots are the best i always get a room threw them bc they always make me feel at home"
The hotel stay was great like always,but i was a little upset bc we ask for king bed me and my husband and we ended up with 2twin beds,but i know it probaly was a misunderstanding.All marriots are the best i use them from state to state.
