Wonderful stay once again at a Hampton Inn!

Overall very satisfied. Rooms were clean, service was excellent, hot breakfast was good each morning. There was a flooding incident on the 5th floor Friday night. We were on the 4th floor and were moved to a new room on the 3rd floor within twenty minutes of discovering the flooding in our bathroom. Breakfasts were very good. Most staff were very friendly. Location was close to shopping, restaurants and interstate.

As the title indicates, this hotel was perfectly fine. The room was large and clean. The hotel was in good repair. The front desk personnel were efficient and pleasant. The price was economical. If you want someplace a little more swanky - then go somewhere else and pay double for the night.

Normally... Hamptons are just perfect for us... but we were very surprised to see that this one needed just a little work. They were refurbishing a little, so that excused....we just felt that we were not as "welcomed" as at other Hamptons... Also... and this has nothing to do with the rating... this is the second Hampton that we have stayed at where […] the new floor is not being layed flush with the walls.... the hallway looked like it had a curve to it... gotta use those chalk lines, guys...:)....All in all,,, not too bad of a stay...bed not quite as comfy though...:(...oh... and kind of weird... but no fridge in the room... we thought that odd...would we stay again....? Great hotel with lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Lots of parking and even enough room for a truck and trailer. We will be back again!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Martinsburg area. The hotel was very nice. The room was extra nice. Loved the bed and how clean everything was.

We always try to stay at Hampton Inns and this was no exception. The front desk was cheerful and very helpful. Our room was wonderful. It was very clean and well taken care of. The bathroom was spotless! Just what you need at the end of a busy day, the bed was so very comfortable. The room was quite comfortable and spacious. I love the non-traditional bathroom cabinetry. The breakfast was a huge money and time saver. And the warm cookies at 5pm were yummy.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. Our room was great. Bed could have been a little better but we have a really good mattress at home. More outlets for our electronics would be nice. Daniel and Courtney were great at keeping our room clean and added extra towels we asked for. Sharon in the breakfast room was fantastic! Wonderful breakfast everyday […] we were there. Everyone of the staff greeted us in passing. The only problem that we had was finding the hotel the first day! It isn't easy to find. We booked a stay here after a long day of driving and woke refreshed in a clean room with a comfy bed. Staff was friendly and the bfast buffet was well stocked. Property was very clean and looks new. A great experience.

Outside pool only. Pool was closed for a private party on the night of my stay, disappointing. King size bed was very comfortable and great AC (91 degrees). Nice breakfast area. Convenient to the mall, Martin's Grocery, Chic Fil A, Outback and many more...

This hotel has a great breakfast they offer in the morning and coffee all day. My room was very clean with plenty of space. The hotel is located very close to the mall and many other restaurants and is very easy to get back onto the highway.

I was chosen to be customer of the day which meant a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi tub, so I was very pleased about that. The room was clean with the exception of a dirty ottoman, breakfast offered variety which was very nice compared to alot of hotels Ive stayed at. The hotel had a small but well equiped workout room, but unfortunaley I didnt […] get a chance to use it. All in All it was a pleasant experience. We were in town for a choral festival at the high school. This hotel was about a mile and a half from the school and very close to the mall and other places to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was better than I expected. I'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience. You know what you'regoing to get at a Hampton Inn. They have a standard that is above most chain hotels. Always comfy beds, clean rooms, and very friendl and helpful staff. The breakfast lady coulnd't have been sweeter. She saw I had my hands full with a few breakfast choices and brought me a tray to carry it all. THen she asked […] if I needed help getting it to my room. We loved the variety of breakfast choices. Not just one entree to choose from. Wonderful assortment of condiments. While I've stayed at this hotel before and received good service, this was definitely the exception. 1. The refrigerator did not work. 2. After returning to the hotel, I found a 'Do not disturb' tag on the door. After opening the door, I found a note from housekeeping that said they would not be cleaning the room because of the 'Do not disturb' tag. […] While I'd like to give the staff the benefit of the doubt, I cannot. The maid entered the room and picked up the towels from the floor, so I know the maid was there. Nothing else was cleaned. Admittedly, the room had been quite messy. However, the fact stands that instead of cleaning the room, the maid simply claimed that there had been a 'Do not disturb' sign. I reported this to hotel staff and was assured that it would be cleaned the next day. That's not really an appropriate response, either, as cleaning service is included in the nightly rate. The guy at the reception wass almost rude He did not seem to like us disturb him He gave us a wheel chait room with a stand up shower which had a telephone type shower head which did not work properly although we had reserves 1 month in advance. The breakfats was terrible eggs were cold and bacon was cold also.

Don't even waste your time booking with this hotel, unclean, needs updated, unhelpful, unprofessional and can't get the main manager to call me back after, 3 messages were left for him. I was told by hotel stay that he's in & out of there, when he feels like it. Staff has no clue, when he is expected to show up and they never know how long he's planning […] on staying there. Convenient to I-81. We had a late arrival and the coffee bar had fresh decaf coffee. Nice touch. The breakfast had great variety-egg&cheese omlets, link sausage and good bacon; fresh fruit, cereals, waffle maker, milk and juices, and a pleasant eating area. When we first arrived, we had to switch rooms because of the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the (non-smoking) room. The cleaning staff did a poor job, as well.

Everyone was very friendly. Better signage pointing the way to the hotel once you get off the highway would help, the breakfast omlets & sausage were a bit over cooked. The young man emptying the trash in the lobby had an annoyingly loud trash holder he was rolling around the lobby while we were having our breakfast.
