My main complaint was many of the representation were not accurate. There is no longer spa pool. There was a pool and workout area and when I called because out of towels Shelves restocked in 30 minutes. There are not fold out sofa beds I'm all the rooms. Perhaps some but not represented as such. Staff brought a roll away bed. But the room is smaller […] then imagined. Breakfast included meant $20 credit to a $60 breakfast bill. No remote. Clean, convenient, restaurant and bar (welcome back to the 80's bigtime). In the middle of an industrial area between airport and a train but noise was not an issue. Airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes starting at 3:00AM. I will stay there again for its convenience if nothing else.

New Lobby is nice but there is still a lot of construction and unfinished walls. The train noise in the middle of the night was pretty bad. The Bar was severely understaffed during the convention we had there. Having one person run the whole thing hindered service and lost the hotel a ton of money. It took about 20 minutes to order a drink!

Even though the Hotel was under construction in their main lobby, the staff was superb and made the check-in process effortless and enjoyable. Can't wait to see the end results of their remodel on our next stay. We have stayed at this Hotel over and over and keep coming back! The price made sense when I checked in! The hotel is undergoing major remodeling. If you mind running into barricades and dry wall every where, you should wait until they are done. The room was clean and comfortable.

I don't usually write reviews unless it is extremly bad or good. This one is very poor quality hotel. No fridge, No microwave, Hard to find parking, Lift took minimum 5 minutes all four times (list goes on)...avoid this hotel if get an option..

The room was nicely furnished and well-equipped for a moderately-priced hotel. Although the current renovation is still creating some inconvenience, the hotel and staff have done a good job of re-directing to meet the traveler's needs. The restaurant was convenient and the staff very accommodating.

I visited the Portland area as my grandson had some college interviews and it was imperative that our wake up calls were met and they weren't. The room and bed was comfortable. The hotel was under major reconstruction and this should be noted when we are making room reservation . I could not complain about the price. The staff was friendly.

The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, but smelled slightly musty, like water damage. (We had reservations here at the beginning and end of our trip.) The building was being renovated in the common areas, and I asked if the guest rooms would be next. (Because of the smell.) They told me that all of the guest rooms had already been renovated. They […] had a clean restaurant onsite, but we ordered oatmeal. It tasted like charcoal, like someone burnt the bottom of the pot, and we couldn't eat it. My wife and I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the local airport. When we checked in we found the hotel was in a state of renovation and there was a lot of construction equipment and assorted odds and end lying about the hotel. The staff were friendly and all in all the hotel was clean and presentable.

Traditional type hotel room. Would have liked at least two chairs. Pool was closed, but they offered shuttle to another hotel, but that was too much work to enjoy. One night stay to catch an early flight out. Was nice that they had a shuttle available to pick me up after dropping my rental car off the night before.

The online description of this hotel when we booked showed queen and king size beds, and we reserved a room with 2 queens. When we arrived, we were told that there are only full size and king beds, We also chose this hotel as we were up there for doctor appointments, and need a pool for therapy. Their pool and hot tub are closed due to the remodel. […] It was very difficult to find parking and even where to go to register after dark due to the remodel and lack of lights in the parking lot....signs would have been very helpful! The tub leaked and after showering the bathroom floor was standing in water which was a definate bummer to clean up after a long day of traveling, only to repeat it with each persons shower! If you want a good nights sleep be VERY careful what room you get in this hotel. On one stay we were fine but on Oct 30, 2012 we are arrived from east coast at 2 am EST and flopped into bed only to be awaken 15 mins later by what sounded like a freight train coming thru our room. Facilities are nice and well-maintained. Staff is courteous and helpful. The shuttle to the MAX Light Rail is a nice touch.

The lady who checked us in was horrible( the lady was kind of fat, blonde hair and it was on oct 11 around 3pm). Upon check in, i asked her if she could put us in a more updated room and she said in a sarcastic voice" Oh all our rooms are updated". And then I said can you put us in a quite room then( coz im a light sleeper) and she said ok. We were […] impresed with the cleanliness of the room. We upacked our stuff and drove around portland.when we got back to the hotel, guess what, our room was near the train tracks and highway and i could hear every noise. The description of the room was misleading. We booked it because it advertised 2 Queen beds in the room. However when we got there we realized they were Full size beds which were quite unconfortable for 2 people. The hotel is going through renovations, so much of the parking is blocked off, and finding a spot was horrible and we had to park far, far from our room. Our room was very small (compared to average modern hotels) and damp/musty smelling. The renovations appear to be only to the public areas of the hotel. Hopefully they will move onto remodeling the […] guest rooms next, as they are very outdated compared to other hotels I have stayed in recently. the hotel had a stale smell everywhere. My room felt like it did not open past weeks. The corridors and carpets felt that they were very old. The icon holiday inn makes, this places certainly doesn't hold on to it.

They are in the process of rennovation right now but other that that it was great- clean and comfortable. The only thing I was annoyed with was there was suppose to be a spa but I never saw it- just the pool so I don't know where that was but I saw the workout room so i know that is there. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant..

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere near the airport so you have to drive everywhere. The hotel is clean, but the pool is in the middle of the lobby so a bit awkward and small. There was construction going on but we didn't hear it. The hot water didn't work on the second morning, but the hotel provided us with complimentary $20 for breakfast, but […] we had to ask. Hotel close to the airport, comfortable and great for the price. Staff was very accommodating and responsive. Had a problem with water temp the first morning, mentioned it to the front desk. They were apologetic, comped a meal and had it fixed by the end of the day.

Under construction and remodel. Carpet in hallways leading to room was making us uncomfortable (old and worn). Entered to a very recent remodel. Nice furninshing, new paint, reasonably comfortable beds, great pillows. Nice newer, clean bathroom.

The hotel is huge and was very busy the whole time we were there but it was never loud or intrusive while we were in our room. The room itself was nice, but small and missing a few key elements like a mini-fridge, adequate counter space and ventilation. The bathroom steamed up immediately and didn't have a fan. The windows didn't open. We got the room […] as part of a Expedia unpublished rate so we didn't have much control over the two tiny double beds, but for anyone at or over 6' tall, they are not a good idea! Also, there was construction going on while we were there which was a bit of a bummer. The indoor pool was fun and the fitness room has a lot to offer in a small space. The hotel was under construction when we stayed there. Expedia advertised this hotel with a continental breakfast and pool (two of our major preferences). The hotel does not have a continental breakfast because they have a full service restaurant in the hotel, and the pool was in the middle of the lobby. The rooms smelled funny and the bed was not that […] comfortable. They upgraded us to a king size bed with no problems and room service was prompt. This hotel is really off the beaten path and hard to find. I was disappointed to find that when I got to the hotel that it is under construction so it was impossible to find parking and what parking I did find was very far from the front door which was re-routed due to the remodeling. I got a workout just carrying my luggage to the front desk.

Commute to dt Portland was not bad at all! Staff were friendly and efficient! I would recommend!! For a 3 star hotel, it was clean, well equipped and well kept!

The front desk help was great but the keeping crew were loud whenever they were around, talking to each other from different rooms. Trying to rest while they were anywhere on the floor was hard. I didn't understand the language but assumed they were not arguing, just having a loud conversation. The in room coffee maker didn't work but the front desk […] responded right away. We stayed here for the weekend in for a business conference and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were a little soft for my liking but that is a personal preference, nothing to do with the quality of the hotel. Would recommend it!

I happened to have traveled without my PC and the hotel only has 2 computers for use of guests. The printer for one of the computers did not work. Hotel is conveniently located near the airport and on a road that runs with few stops into northeastern Portland.

The check-in agent attempted to downgrade a prepaid room (one month ahead) with two double beds to a single bed and much smaller room. I spent $30 on an evening meal in a vacant restaurant of Holiday Inn. When I was asked for feedback at check-out, I relayed this to another check-in agent, who argued that I was wrong about this until I produced my receipt […] for the double bed room. She made no apologies for her argumentative response to the feedback she requested, and I overheard her describing this to a second agent that overheard our conversation. He also did not say they were sorry for the misunderstanding. The day afterwords, I discovered a $25 charge without basis and was told with three long distance phone calls that this was a hold on my checking account that should be reversed eventually. The other 5 hotels and 2 car rentals for this trip did not charge my credit card and check card for "holding" fees. Amazingly disrespectful concierge service at this hotel! Skaityti daugiau

We ended up at The Holiday Inn after " bidding and winning" on Expedia. The hotel was excellent.......very clean, conveniently located to the Portland Airport, staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Only negative was the spa was being repaired and therefore not useable. I would not hold this against the hotel..... repair work must be done on a continuing […] basis.
