Boston Omni Parker House Hotel - Bostonas

We got the suite, based upon reviews of smaller rooms, and we were very happy. The suite was big and roomy. Good hotel.

This is not the first time at the Omni Parker House, and it won't be the last. Although a little old and dated, it's fairly clean, with limited dust and scuff marks. I rather stay at the Ritz or Taj, but Omni does provide a clean bed and shower. The selling point of this hotel is the history and location, 'nuf said.

Excellent location and wonderful staff. Very nice room, comfortable, clean, and nice to take a break from seeing this interesting city.

Really enjoyed the location of the hotel and the ability to walk everywhere we wanted to go for site seeing and eating. The fact that hotel has it's own history and you didn't feel like you were staying in a "chain hotel" added to the enjoyment of the weekend. The service was great, the restaurant facilities had a wide assortment of foods including "comfort foods", i.e. Parker House Rolls. However the room was very small and the bathrom was miniscule, so if you are looking for a large room with a view, this is not for you. But this hotel definitely has character. Clean, great location, and beautiful old design. Only complaint was no usable outlets!!neither one of us could charge a cell phone with crawling under the desk to unplug lamps. Beyond the inconvenience for phone charging, to use the hair dryer (provided by the hotel!!!) I had to kneel on the flor almost under that same desk and with no visibility of […] a mirror!! The hotel put the hair dryer in the room, what did they expect!?? I can only imagine if this was a work trip and expecting to plug in a laptop and phone charger somewhere in the room. Great location, central to Boston!

Nice hotel and location. I traveled here about once a week for a day or two over several months. The hotel does not have a loyalty program so they had no way of tracking me as a frequent guest and preferences. I loved the location. Convenient to Beacon Hill, Copley Square, etc.

My only complaint with the omni was $40 to park... I think if your paying good money for a room 10-15 is reasonable if not included

The hotel is beautiful and full of history. The service is top-notch and amenities are wonderful. The only qualm? The beds are quite small and also seem to be historic, as they dip down on both sides. Other than that, wonderful. I would stay there again, no doubt.

We had a great time as the location of the hotel was perfect for our weekend in the city. However, when we arrived there was something in the toilet which was flushed, the mirror in the bathroom had a loose hinge so it swung out into the room, we didn't have a remote for the TV, and the TV did not work for one of the nights we were there. This hotel is in a fantastic location, has great service and is overall a phenomenal place to stay. The rooms are small, but otherwise everything else is fantastic.

This is a very well located hotel. Back in time it was the best hotel where the Kennedy's used to hang out. However, today, the hotel has an elegant touch to it, it is a bit darker. The negative side of booking the hotel through here is that I got a very bad located room facing a wall with not a good view at all. We enjoyed our stay at the Omni Parker House. Rooms were small but clean. Although we thought other hotels offered more for less ,we took into consideration this is the oldest hotel in Boston with some updates and some of the past well preserved. After seeing how they treated not only my car but two other guest's cars I wouldn't recommend valeting your car here. Before we checked out, we walked to the North End to get pastries. On our way home, we saw a white SUV speeding down the road. It was a red light and there were cars at the red light but that didn't stop this car from speeding and then […] jamming on their brakes. That was a valet driving a guest's car. They drove my brand new car up on a sidewalk. Another hotel guest had their car broken into and just dropped off to them by the valet. Great place. Service in bar not too attentive, but mostly the staff was terrific. Careful of extra charges... Ten bucks for wireless? On the whole, though, a fine experience for a fairly reasonable price.

Great historical hotel experience. Not generally my cup of tea, but it was a nice change of pace. Comfy beds and great service. They clearly take pride in the hotel. For the price, they need to upgrade their technology package in the rooms (more plugs, usb chargers, etc.)

The Omni was a great stay. i was pleased with the staff and hotel patrons. The hotel had great attributes, and is in a great location to all of downtown Boston. When I come back I will be staying at the Omni.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Our room was roomy, clean and comfortable. Historic hotel located in the heart of the freedom trail.

Rooms smelled, bathroom was pretty dirty. Cleaning wasn't great, towels not replaced, water bottles not refreshed, tv a bit faulty. Faded hotel past its sell by date, needs upgrading. Wouldn't stay again

The small room was very small - not a problem for a single traveller on a 3/4 night trip, but could be a problem for couples / longer stays. Very comfortable bed and well looked after room. Free wifi for loyalty scheme members a nice bonus, and breakfast was large and good value

Excellent service. I was told the double bed was almost the size of a queen; not quite. We upgraded to 2 dbls so we could have a good nite sleep. The staff was very accommodating. Needs updating, but then this was a good deal.

Fantastic, historical Boston hotel, walking distance to historic sites, restaurants, etc. Staff and comfort were wonderful; hotel was maintained beautifully. Highly recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay in a well appointed room my only comment is that the room we had was very dark. Beds were very comfortable and there was a lounge area that we used a lot. The Omni Parker House hotel is a grand old hotel. As others have noted it is slightly tired around the edges, but not seriously so. It provided most things I look for in a hotel. The staff were invariably helpful and provided a qood quality of service. Their were several options available for food onsite, with many other options available within easy […] walking distance (and the subway quite closeby). The in-room safe fits a laptop computer. Again, as noted by others, the rooms are small. For one person, this did not matter much as the room was well appointed, with several accessible power points, a good sized desk and adequate bathroom. Free wifi is available in the lobby, or by joining the hotel club, which is free. All together, I was entirely satisfied with my stay at this hotel and thought it provided good value for money. Was very very pleased with our stay the Omni Parker House. Absolutley,beautiful hotel! Our room was amazing, very spacious and comfortable. The beds were soft and the room was spotless.
