Great hotel reservations were incorrect tried to make rt but had to put us in handicap rooms which were a bit inconvienent. No shelving or storage then room keys didn't work when we returned from grad party & then had trouble getting keys re-keyed from front desk. Made us wait for security instead of just re-keying they insisted that the key gob was […] broken. It was so frustrating. I told them it blinked red several times. It was the key that didn't work they finally re-keyed it but insisted we wait for security to check the door & the new key but he didn't even wait for me when I got there. He just let my family in & left. It was frustrating. We had driven for hours. Went straight to a grad party. Then arrived back about midnight. We were exhausted. On top of it all my husband had just worked a 36 hour shift straight w/o sleeping. If we didn't have to deal with that drama the stay would have been perfect. Skaityti daugiau

I really expected a lot more from this hotel. We stayed in the "executive" room. It was small, there wasn't much room for our clothes. You are paying to be by a mall. There was one restaurant, that was a little pricy, the buffet was terrible. I wouldn't say that this was an awful hotel, but it is definitely way overpriced. Overall good rating. Since had family members over to rooms for visit there wasn't enough seating space. Needed a couch.

The hotel was very comfortable and walking distance to shops and restaurants. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony of the restaurant and bar overlooking the hills around Austin.

This hotel could be nice if you have a room with a view. The rooms that over look the atrium feel like jail cells. I will not stay here again.

My job gave me a couple of days off And Austin is my favorite place , this was my first time at this hotel It's beautiful great pool indoor and outdoor I was with my husband and 2 children and we were put in a 1 king size bed and they gave us a rollaway bed , the bedroom was only ok. Service fantastic, area beutiful, hotel so nice but the beds were hard as a rock! I could not sleep! Also the $4 water bottle I reached for had been opened and refilled with tap water. I'm not sure that I would stay there again.

The Renaissance Hotel is a decent hotel about twenty minutes from downtown Austin by cab.

The staff was extremely friendly and the service was exceptional. I will be returning in the near future. Make sure to stop by the Roaring Fork located off the hotel lobby. Wonderful food!

Had a great night stay! Bedding was so nice and comfortable. The hotel and room were very clean and nicely appointed. The service was excellent. We needed some ice and it was brought right up! Really enjoyed our stay!

We had activities planned at UT Austin during the day but all University-area hotels were booked, so we stayed here as I was familiar with the area. Hotel and surrounding business (shopping, restaurants) was great, and it was only a few minutes (not during rush hour) from the University. Other than the construction and renovation that was going on the hotel was great. The service was top of the line and everyone was helpful and polite.

There's a lot going on this side of town. It's perfect for families and people who want some distance from downtown, where parking is hard to find and things can sometimes be a little too busy.

Service was great. Friendly staff from the valet to the front desk and bar. Only complaint is the Murphy bed in our room (pulls down from the wall). The most uncomfortable bed we're ever slept on. My back hurt both nights we stayed there. The rooms and bathrooms look like they were decorated in the 80s; however, it was very clean.

This hotel was very nice and conveniently located in the Arboretum area of Austin. The hotel restaurant Banderas is widely known for its steaks which are delicious. It is a very large hotel, but because everything was spread out, you never felt like it was overly busy or crammed with people. If staying in north Austin, I would definitely stay here  […] again. I stayed at the hotel in 2000 for a school administrators conference and found it to be elegant but this time the hotel has been refurbished and did not find it as elegant as in the pass.

The hotel staff was first class. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and were provided with a complimentary room upgrade. We will certainly be back.

We only stayed for one night but the location was great, the rooms were very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. I can imagine that this would be a great hotel for an extended stay or corporate event.
