Had a good stay. The Hotel was in a very good location , it was clean , and comfortable . I would recommend this Hotel.

I thought this was a hotel for homeless people when I first walked in because there were about a dozen people hanging around the lobby and wasn't sure if they were guests at the hotel. the hotel lobby, and halls were dark and in relative poor condition. the room, however, was very nice. bed was awesome and slept very well.

I was upgraded to a better more expensive room with a big flat screen tv fixed to the wall because the first room was extremly hot and the air conditioning did not work. It was a good stay considering the price and the upgraded room.

Hotel was a quick walk to Habs game. Parking was very good and service with very friendly and informative employees was exceptional. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Only negative was the bathroom as leaks in toilet and shower.

It ws the worse experience of my life. We had asked for two adjoining rooms or at least on the same floor. When we got there they were not aware of our request. They did give us two rooms next to each other but right above the party room. The music was blasting until 2AM so we were unable to sleep. When we got there we were hungry so we called the restaurant […] to order a club sandwich. It was so greasy I would not have fed it to a dog. I will never recomened that dump to anyone . Except for the blatant arrogance of the French desk clerks seeping through when checking in and checking out because I spoke English, the Espresso hotel gets better with each visit. I was put on the 7th floor where the rooms have been refinished and very much enjoyed it. The plumbing in the bathrooms however is still an issue where you don't quite know […] if that water level I'm the toilet is going to overflow or not and the drain in the tub is pretty much clogged with years of hair and well I won't go there. The staff was fab! We just had a bunch of noisy drunks out in the hall way yelling and the staff had to come up twice to settle them down.

the hallways and elevators were so stinking...like 10 people just had been smoking in it and then urinated everywhere. wasn't a good first impression. but the room was lovely. nicely done and a surprise after the sticking ride and walk down the hall!

While the lobby area may feel a bit dated, it was nevertheless clean. Complimentary Expresso as you check in; nice touch. The room/bedding was very clean with hardwood flooring! A welcome change from old musty carpets. I wonder why other hotels don't do this as well, as it must be easier to maintain. Didn't eat there so can't comment. The room was nice, clean, spacious. Would have been a better stay if we weren't in the section of the hotel that was being renovated. That kind of set it off for us. Other than that, nice rooms, and comfy beds!!!!

Very very pleased with this last-minute find. Needed a dog-friendly place with parking. Got both, plus friendly service and extremely comfortable beds.

I was excited to find a hotel for a great price in a great location with consistently good guest ratings. What I found when I got there was a great location, an overpriced hotel considering what I got, and an overall very dirty hotel that I would not return to. I was disgusted by the condition an lack of cleanliness of the room. I did not have a renovated […] room, and that might account for the condition of the room (i.e. worn out furniture) but does not excuse the filthy condition of the room. Had a great stay, when we first got their our original room had no power. They immediately upgraded us to a better room free of charge. All around great service, at a great hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, they had us listed for the wrong night. I showed them my reservation confirmation and they quickly found us a room. Very professional service! We stayed for three nights and four days. The hotel was beautiful and centrally located to shopping and dining on Rue Ste. Catherine. Staff were pleasant and courteous, though entered our room to clean while the do not disturb sign was on the door. My boyfriend was literally caught with his pants down getting dressed. Aside from that, everything else […] was very good. Room service was prompt, comparable and courteous. The fitness facility is small but adequate. The hotel restaurant staff were exceptional-- our meals were prompt, perfectly prepared and we were well taken care of. The hotel is also only five or ten minutes from Old Montreal, a popular tourist destination, and fine dining near Notre Dame Basillica. Only eight minutes from Food Network Chef Chuck Hughes' restaurant Garde Manger-- but make sure you make a reservation first if you'd like to eat there! Overall a very pleasant stay. Great place to stay, although, like any other hotel, it would be nice if the shower had more pressure. Room was clean and temperature was right. I'm a repeat customer for 5 years now.

Although this hotel isn't in the nicest part of town and the outside of the hotel isn't anything special, we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the front door. It was modern and we got great service from the front desk, even allowed us to check in at noon when our reservation was for 4pm.

We arrived and checked in. The room bedding was not clean. so we called and they immediately moved us to upgraded room. At the same price. They we're very accommodating. We were walking distance to St. Catherine Street and the downtown core of Motnreal. for shopping and restaurants.

Staff was very attentive. The hotel is very well located on Guy street within walking distance from downtown area. The bar and eating area needs improvement; but not a deal breaker since restaurants are within walking distance. For a room, bed and a place to stay for the money, good deal.

The indoor parking in the hotel is not free. You have to pay $22 per Day. The wireless Internet on 7th floor was broken during the three days of my visit.

This was my second time staying in this hotel, and I love it. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the location is perfect and it is surprisingly quiet being that close to the city. I can't wait to go back again.

Poorly up kept rooms, paint peeling off, flooring in room noisy, lots of noise in hallways early in the mornings and late in the evenings, lobby shabby with strange people

Very nice hotel room with bigger than normal flat screen TV. Nice Laminate floors and Keurig coffee machine in the room. Could have used a little more sound proofing but overall not too bad. Very nice high quality exercise equipment.
