My fiance and I stayed at the Annex at the Chelsea Hotel. Never again. First, there was only valet parking for $15.00 per night. We did not like that. We felt as if the hotel was trying to force our hand to give the valets tips. We found metered parking on the street. By the way, the front desk and the cashier at the adjacent restaurant were unable […] to provide us with change for the parking meter. How coincidental? The other option was to pay $10.00 for 8 hours of parking at one of the cheaper parking lots. The second thing we did not like was the small room that was decorated with antiquated furniture and had what appeared to be a hole from a cigarette burn in the curtain. The third thing we did not like was that a hotel guest complained about us playing music too loudly at 9:30pm on a Sunday night of a holiday weekend. Yes, the music was loud; however, we paid over $200 for one night too. They could have at least given us until 10:30 or 11:00pm to keep the music turned up. We thought that would have been fair. The annex is Chelsea's other building (attached to main tower and lobby above their Diner). It has a motel vibe, certainly needs some renovation, but overall, you pay a fair price, get the same treatment as staying in the nicer tower, and are a block from the Beach and Tropicana. I was very impressed when we first walked into the lobby of the hotel. Then I found that our rooms were in the Annex which meant we were in the old motel section of the hotel. Very dingy and old. It served its purpose but very expensive for the accommodations. If I stayed there again, I would stay in the main part of the hotel.

I will never stay here again the room smelled. The service was lousey.. The valet parking was horrible.. On top of that they lied and charged me extra money on my bill.. People were fighting in the hallways at night..i will never stay here again and im telling all my friends in philadelphia not to book with this getto hotel..

This was worse than a motel. We walked in the Chelsea, which looked great, but then when we got to the annex it was horrible. the room smelled like smoke, the beds were disgusting, the bathroom was disgusting, and there was only one mirror in the whole room. We had called down to ask if we could move to the Chelsea and that we did not care how much […] it would be and they informed us the chelsea was booked full. Staying in AC and want modern/vintage? This is the place!!! The customer service was great. The lobby was beautifully decorated. I got tired if having to walk through a casino to get to my room at other hotels. At the Chelsea you dont have to worry about that. This is not a fancy or luxury hotel, but it is sufficient if all you need is a place to sleep after drinking all night. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable sleeping environment. Biggest problem was that there was not a full length mirror in the room.

Took over 30 minutes to get my car parked so that was a bad start. Only stayed there because all the Casinos were over priced that night due to an event. The carpeting in the halls are dated and the walls in the hall are in dire need of painting. The bed was excellent. Other than an older bathroom the Room itself was very nice. The room had stains on the carpet and walls. The light fixtures were broken and the room was overall in bad shape. For $200+, it was rip-off. Its only positive quality is its proximity to the boardwalk which is less than a block away.

staff was great; valet parking was only $10 and the rooms were OK for the price. The bathroom was outdated but really no complaints. Try to avoid rooms on the street side, as the noise can be bothersome.

The customer service is horrible! The rooms are average but adequate- for short stays. Bathrooms need updating. Pool was filthy. Wouldn't stay here again. The only plus is that it is steps from the boardwalk.

We've stayed at the Chelsea before, first time at the Annex. Enjoyed the proximity to boardwalk. The breakfast at Teplitsky's is great. Front desk and valet parking was great. Room in the annex seemed smaller. Had problems setting the temperature and shower pressure was not good. Would probably stay again, maybe in the regular rooms.

UNMAINTAINED AND DIRTY. STAFF PLEASANT BUT DID NOT MAKE UP FOR THE DECAY OF THE WOOD IN THE ROOM AND THE TOOTH PASTE ON THE WALL.

The Annex part of the Chelsea need a little more attention, it was cleaner when it was the Howard Johnson. The Ice machines were all out of service on every floor. We had to go to the main building 6th floor for ice. SMH....

Upon arrival the lobby was beautiful but what they don't tell you online is there is a $10 obligatory valet fee you must pay to park your car at the hotel! Walking to my room at the annex made me feel like I was walking into a scene from a horror movie the walls in the hallways and the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint to freshen the place up a […] bit. Upon entering the room I was greeted with a dank smell and a very old set of dresser drawers. Upon walking into the bathroom there was urine dried onto the toilet seat and it appeared as though the bathroom stepped straight out of the 60's. We had very few outlets, the only mirror in the whole room was in the bathroom and there was no mini fridge or even an ice machine on the annex side of the hotel. There bathrooms have low flow toilets and after two men using it the toilet was clogged and overflowed. The phones didn't work to call the front desk and after we contacted them in person to notify them of the situation we returned to our room 6 hours later to find that nothing was done to fix it alrhough the water level seem to have subsided on its own. After calling again, they slowly brought new towels but no one ever attempted to clean the bathroom or even take our dirty towels. While they did in the end comp the room, I was very dissatisfied with the state of a hotel that costs $250+ per night and the lack of attention to guests in distress. Skaityti daugiau

My room was disgusting!! I had feces in the toilet, the bed wasn't made, there is nasty stuff on the floor in the bathroom, and they put me right next to the loud elevator. I would rather stay in a motel 6 in the hood then there. Tried to get a new room and I was denied. So I only checked in and checked out 15 minutes later.

The Annex is a dumpy, run down motel attached to the Chelsea Hotel. As soon as you round the corner to the Annex elevators the quality hits rock bottom. The rooms are small, furniture old and scarred, the bathroom not updated since the 60's (?) except for the sink. The wax is worn off the bathroom floor making the floors look dirty. The tub faucet handles […] were stripped. All this for WAY too much money and this was the "upgraded" room I got after I complained. It was expensive to stay and it wasn't very nice. The rooms are just ok, but there repaired holes in the walls and the lamps had tears in them. The rooms had those odd metal doors that required you to yank hard on them to just open the door. I personally think it was over priced for the quality. The room was old and dirty. The beds were just as hard as the floor. There was no full length mirror, which made getting ready very challenging. The elevators smelled and were scary. The bathroom was so outdated, I wouldn't call them clean either. I wouldn't stay there again.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for the Carrie Underwood Concert at Boardwalk Hall. You couldn't beat the location but the check in was extremely slow! On a Friday afternoon, have more than one person checking people in! We finally get to our room and while the decor is nice the bathroom is old, and out dated. This was one of the worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, and it takes a lot to make me unhappy. Usually all I would need is a bed and a bathroom and it's all good, but this place was a disaster. Our door didn't lock, the artwork was removed from all the walls leaving marks everywhere, 2 of the 3 light fixtures were broken, the closet was completely […] destroyed, and the list goes on. I stayed in the Annex and 1 elevator worked and moved so slow. The place is dirty, needs major work done in every area and the only element in the room that looks like this century is the tv. The front desk staff were amazing and the rest very non customer focused. Glad I was rarely in the room.It was a terrible experience.

The Annex hallways were dingy and depressing. The elevators were broken and so were a few lights in the hallway.
