Could hear some freeway traffic and the loud people in other rooms at night. Room was clean and breakfast was good (stock/supplies maintained by hostess) Basically the expectation for price paid and level of hotel based on other reviews.

There was previous leak over the bath tub which caused a hole in the ceiling. There was a disgusting stain on the seat of the easy chair. The front vent of the air conditioning unit was hanging open. The water to the toilet was shut off and when I turned it on thr float valve did not turn it off so that the water continued to run. The shower curtain […] rod was loose and pulling away from the wall. Though promised wi-fi, I could not get it. The halls reaped of cigarette smoke. Other than that, our stay was delightful. Didn't like this hotel. Floor felt lumpy and sponge. Everything looke out dated. On the plus side staff was super friendly and breakfast was nice :-)

Our room had a strong odour of disinfectant or deodorizer. There was pet excrement all over the front entrance walkway and the room furniture was shabby. Our request for another room yielded a slightly improved result. This hotel needs to be completely renovated or torn down.

The beds were very comfortable and we liked having the extra pillows. The ironing board was broken but we reported it. The breakfast was good but some hot dishes were finished and not replenished and we would have liked to have eaten them. We were in the breakfast room 45 minutes before the serving time was over. I think the vending machines need to be updated but the condition of this hotel was excellent. I enjoyed the kindness of the front desk and housekeeping employees. I will definitely stay here again when i visit home!

Free Wifi was available everywhere in the hotel with no disconnections at all. Nice having a microwave and fridge in the room as we were snowed in and purchased food to "eat in". Continental breakfast was average.

The local staff was friendly and nice. The reservations people were awful. As a result Days Inn will not be a place I will stay again regardless of location.

Our room was clean and spacious, but only had one small table & chair, and one wood-&-cushioned chair which was not comfortable. Could have used more & more comfortable chairs. A small refrigerator and microwave on top were provided in the room. The building itself seems old and cheaply constructed; for example, anyone walking down the hallway on the […] floor above could be clearly heard & felt while in your room. The soda machines on the first & second floor did not work. The breakfast was at the lower end of quality you find in this level of hotel - a few cereals, hard-boiled eggs, coffee & juice, pancakes and a few different types of small donuts & muffins along with bread for toast. Fortunately, we were there only to sleep between trips to the casino in Charles Town, and we had breakfast at the casino. The lobby was clean, and the outside of the building well-maintained and well-lighted. The building abuts the interstate (Rt 81) so rooms on the highway side are close enough that traffic noise can be an issue for light sleepers or those who have difficulties falling asleep with traffic sounds. The gentleman manning the front desk at night was quite helpful and friendly. The general vicinity of the hotel commercial so there are plenty of dining and shopping venues very near the hotel. Room was clean for the most part except a large stain on the chair, don't know if it's because they put us in a less clean room due to us bring a pet. The staff was super friendly and the sheets were clean and comfy. There was some mold in the bathroom and the floor dipped down (due to weight) where the TV was. Inexpensive, comfortable, convenient place to sleep. Bathroom lighting was weak but the room was clean and the staff pleasant. The breakfast was standard fare, but, the coffee was hot and plentiful, the counter was clean and well-tended by someone who spoke and smiled. A good deal for the dollars.

The smeel of urine was strong when entering the hotel. The comforter and blanket was stained. The bath mat was grimmy and dirty. People were hanging out of the window. I actually was afraid. This was the most horrible experience I've ever had!!! I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!

FAIR for the price. No screen in window. A/C not working properly. TV service needs major overhaul; old TV, no guide or menu, volume way loud or too soft. Seating/chairs very uncomfotable.

Hardly slept because the a/c unit in the room was LOUD! Hotel interior is run-down; common area carpets were filthy. Not worth saving a little money to stay here!

This hotel is halfway between our home and our son's and it's right off the highway making it very convenient for us. Clean and comfortable.

Our main objective was to be close to our family gathering and be able to sleep in comfort. The Days Inn room fit the bill for us and the bed was very comfortable, rating 4 stars, since we spent minimal time there.

The place is pretty basic - but for the price is a good deal. Rooms are roomy enough. Rooms were neat and clean, but the bathrooms were a little less so - some mold. The staff was terrifically nice and helpful. Location is very near the Martinsburg Mall and a bunch of chain restaurants. Pizza Hut and Burger King right next door. Let's see. The A/C in our room barely worked, and the room was broiling when we arrived. One of the outlets in our room only worked in fits, and the bathroom light went on and off constantly. There was trash on the floor around the edges of the bed, and the walls and ceiling were stained and cracked in multiple places. The elevator smelled funny and […] made ominous sounds, and the card readers on the side doors were completely dead, meaning we had to walk around to the front of the hotel and enter through the lobby every time we took the dogs out. When I mentioned all of this to the guy at the front desk, he didn't even have the decency to look concerned. He just looked at me as if he couldn't comprehend why any of this was a problem. We stayed on the second floor on the far end from the elevator and we were shocked at how quiet it was there even though there were pets on our floor. There was some mildew/mold growing around the bathroom ceiling and that was worrysome but we were only there one night so we didn't ask to be moved. Kind of sad and rundown but not bad for the money. Overall feel, of the property was a chain hotel built 20 years ago that hadn't been renovated or upgraded at all. No internet access, lot of families with barking dogs staying there.

The new mattresses in the rooms are wonderful! The staff is on top of things but the overall condition of the hotel is slightly on the decline. I would definitely stay again, A good price for a good hotel.

The floor of the bathroom was so slippery, my wife and i nearly fell twice. The bathroom tub had mildew.

Price was good, actually it was lower at checkout than the expedia quote. Everything I needed was there without asking including an iron and ironing board. The room was surprisingly quiet -- No noise from anyone else in the hotel -- just the hum of the highway. Mattress, bedding, carpet and towels seemed old. TV speakers made annoying extra noise.

The policy is they allow dogs but they must not be left alone in the room. Well tell that to the people that left both their dogs in their room alone. They barked, dug at the floor and kept me up. The front desk did offer to move us, but at 12:30am what's the point and the only room they had did not have the right beds for our party. No refunds and […] a terrible experience for sleeping. For this price range I have stayed in better , cleaner, friendlier motels, Motel was dated but the staff was friendly (except the stic check in clerk). The waffle maker was malfunctioning so the breakfast was a sham and the room was stale with smoke for a non smoking room. There are better choices out there in this price range.
