Everything exceeded our expectations, but they had a bellman named Ian/ or Ivan and he was most definetly a one man ambassador extrodinare! He seems to work night and day and so he became our “go-to guy” for anything serious. It was a big warm in the evening and the room AC wasn’t great, but all in all when the street noise lowered the windows opened. The […] bar service was dreadful. It seems they did not encourage people to have a cocktail. But overall the effort once pointed out, could not have been better. Safety was first rate especially on this very busy weekend. This is a beautiful hotel in the center of historic, downtown Zacatecas. It is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The rooms were a little small but very modern and decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable, although the bathroom was quite tiny. Our window opened into a little plaza and our first night there was a formal event […] that we could hear into our room. Excellent! The best hotel experience we have had anywhere. All updates and remoldling were done right, with taste and practicality in mind. I am looking forward to returning to the same hotel as soon as the opportunity presebts itself.

Front desk & staff could be more friendly, rooms needs AC not Fan (June and August very hot the whole day, had to sleep with windows open), noisy hotel guest were not shut up until I called around 5am (do they have security to monitor? ), breakfast was ok but too expensive (room too small for the amount of guests). The junior suite had a great view to the Plaza de Armas. We walked from there to the other International Folk Festival venues We had a fantastic time. The room was comfortable and very convenient. Bathroom a bit small but very nice. We would definetly stay there again.

Air conditioner in every room? They don't work. You have to have a window open -- and then the noise from the plaza will keep you up late. Breakfast? Never opens on time. Due to this, we were late for two morning pickups (in four days). Staff cannot find key to ballroom? No problem! They simply move the scheduled wedding reception (and the loud, thumping […] bass that goes with it -- until 3:00 am) to the sixth floor, right above our room. Staff was very friendly and honest. I accidentally left my cell phone in my car and the lot attendant brought it up to my room for me. The breakfast was very decent. Very nice part of Zacatecas, always something going on.

Great location, lovely hotel with all the modcons. Fantastic view of the main square which featured an ice rink as part of the festive celebrations. The food in the hotel was really nice and relatively cheap. Overall for the value we paid it was well worth it.

If you are looking for a great hotel right cross from the cathedral in the centro historico, then stay at Hotel Emporio. Rooms are very nicely designed and equipped. Location cannot be beat and the price is decent.

Where to start? Right across the cathedral in the very heart of Zacatecas, there is simply no better location in town, period. Everything you'd want to see as a tourist is within walking distance, so you don't need a car (but if you have one, there's a secure garage underneath the hotel itself available). Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Our […] room, a standard room, was on the 6th floor and very quiet as it faced the interior courtyard. One of the most comfortable, stylish rooms I've seen, there was plenty of space, a very comfortable bed, a sofa, very high quality toiletries including toothpaste and Alka-Seltzer, and an immaculately clean bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast downstairs included a wide range of options from corn flakes, waffles, and made to order omelets to more traditional Mexican fare: chilaquiles, chicken in mole sauce, quesadillas with squash blossoms, huitlacoche, rajas, or meat; options changed daily. They also had fresh squeeze juices and fruit - the papaya and lime was phenomenally good. The business center in the hotel was able to print out boarding passes at no charge, the front desk found us a taxi to take us to the museum in Guadalupe and back (while waiting for us) at a very reasonable price. Room service pricing was very good with a wide range of options. Only the hotel bar (good snacks, but not particularly appealing) wasn't awesome, but there are plenty of other places to drink nearby (or an Oxxo across the street). Skaityti daugiau

i stayed here on business, and the hotel was great. the staff was wonderful and my suite was very nice. the breakfast was good every morning and i enjoyed the location. only downside was occasionally it was quite noisy outside late at night, due to concerts or similar. not the hotel's fault; it's centrally located so to be expected. would stay here […] again! This is a great hotel. Well situated in the center of the historical distrct and within walking distance to most sights. The hotel is well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff at the front desk could be a little more friendlier though.

I think this is the best hotel in ZAcatecas. The location can't be better, just in front of the cathedral. the restaurant is awesome, try the arrachera, melted cheese and tortilla soup. You won't regret staying here.

Its been more than ten years that I have been to Zacatecas and I was very pleased with the accomidations. Hotel Emporio is very well kept, I traveled with my 5 yr old son and 7 yr old nephew and the staff there was very nice and accomidating, the bell man was extremely helpful. One quick food recomondation outside of the great food that the hotel provides […] is just outside of the hotel 5 doors down to the left on the right hand side there is a sit down restaurant with colorful setting you can miss very clean location has the best for the area food in town.... Back to the Hotel it was great and I would recommend this location to anyone going to Zacatecas to stay at Hotel Emporio, I also read the reviews and finally decided to stay and the stay was great well kept and very modern looks like recent updates with all the plasmas in the rooms and bar area. We went to Zacatecas to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Revolution. The hotel staff put us in a second floor room with a balcony overlooking the main city square. They could have put is in a room with a window to the interior courtyard, so we were extremely pleased, especially after we learned that the parade would pass right beneath our balcony […] and that the evening concerts would be in the main city square. We had the best seat in the house for the festivities. By far the best thing about our stay was the breakfast we included in our reservation. We were expecting a small spread of fruits and pastries, but, instead, we were treated every morning to a spectacular buffet of local delicacies, omelet bar and hand-made tortillas and tortas. A very nice room, especially with the city view and balcony. The location in front of the Plaza de Armas is perfect, Any parade, callejoneada or band concert will be within easy view or ear shot of your balcony if you get a room with a city view. Hotel brunch was ok but I'd recommend walking up a block to the Acropolis, amazing chiliquiles. Great staff, […] most of whom are bilingual which helped. Very affordable to park a car over night and I was definitely impressed with their valet skills, that was a tightly packed garage. Overall, I would stay at the Hotel Emporio again and again. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. We arrived at 6AM, hoping only that they would allow us to drop our luggage off at the front desk, but to our surprise, they allowed us to check in hours early! The room was charming and spacious and faced the main plaza adjacent to the cathedral. The hotel could not be more conveniently located. We were able […] to drop in many times during the day--sometimes simply to use the restroom--as we ran amok in the city, without any hassle at all. The bedding was clean, plush and comfortable, and the shower was clean and well-designed. The hotel is making a small but noticeable effort to be more eco-conscious, leaving instructions on how to indicate whether you'd like new towels everyday. The rooftop has a pretty spectacular view but appears to be reserved for private parties--you can stroll around up there when it's empty, but it's a shame there's no bar (the bar's on the ground floor, adjacent to a very pretty interior courtyard). Very accommodating staff. They leave you alone for the most part, but if you ask them for something, they'll get it done. El hotel muy bien. Se realizan eventos en la plaza de enfrente y para poder verlos desde la terraza del hotel se cobra un consumo mínimo o un cover. Esto es igual para huéspedes y no huéspedes. No hay nada preferencial para huéspedes y esto seria importante
