my stay was not bad at all, but the room i was in was not clean good, plus i had a broken chair in my room, other than that everything else was good.

It was one of a few hotels left with vacancies for a graduation travel. It is very dated and like a truck stop hotel. However it was clean and the clerks were friendly. Dont expect a good night sleep because you can hear talking through the wall and the bed was as old and uncomfortable as the hotel itself.

property was older & somewhat funky even for an Econolodge but staff was friendly, bedding & linens were clean, bed was comfortable so it worked fine for attending my niece's graduation. It was a 20-30min drive but I knew that when I booked the room.

Breakfast very minimal. Shower temperature spikes. Tv channels fuzzy. Buisness center printer down and pool closed. Overall not worth $90, not very pleasant, and I'm not hard to please.

Our room was okay. The hotel itself seemed run down and in need of renovation. It served the purpose of a cheap overnight stay.

Everything was well-maintained. Refigerator and microwave available in the room. Coffee maker too. I didn't partake in the continental breakfast, but it was available.. There was Dunkin Donuts across the street.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and a great price. Breakfast was not huge, but okay for a quick breakfast. It was close to some great places to eat.

Overall, this property met my expectations. Decent room, good location. The continental breakfast is useless. Ended up going to Dunkin Donuts each morning (across the street) anyway. We were traveling with two other couples, with trailers (for our Harley's) and had no problem parking for the weekend. TV's need upgrading!

I consider myself lucky. I did not read all the reviews before I booked while driving on I-81. If I had, I would have known the place has an ongoing bug problem, and apathetic management. While I waited at the front desk to check in, I was behind a traveller who was changing rooms due to excessive amounts of flies in his room. After that. the front […] desk clerk took a call from the manager and had the gall to explain to him/her about the other room exchanges for the evening due to prolific amounts of "black beetles" in a few rooms. (I got the feeling the front desk clerk was more than a bit "slow") Well, i already prepaid through hotels.com, so i'd be already at a disadvantage if i wanted to cancel. The clerk eventually checked me into a room and to my surprise there were no pests at all to be found. I checked high and low, but the room was OK. There were a few big stains on the floor, but the bed was comfy, and linens clean. Hotel was convenient. Being able to walk to Chili's was a plus. Room smelled smoky even though I requested a non-smoking.

All hotels were booked in Harrisonburg for the JMU Family week-end. The Econo Lodge was the closest we could get. It was only 20 min. away. The room was plain, but the bed was fine. I walked around with clorox wipes to get whatever really bothered me; the remote, light switches, etc. I wouldn't walk barefoot in any hotel room. The room was fine, nothing […] fancy. We've been at the Econo Lodge for a long weekend. Being labeled as "Pet friendly" and the proximity to Shenandoah Valley / Blue Ridge Mountains makes this hotel attractive for families with a normal budget. The rooms were clean and cleaned up daily. The Econolodge is a good one to two night stay for the price the rooms are clean and in good order. Our room had most of the aminities of a large Hotel. ETC. Large Refridge, Ironing board and iron, hairdryer, coffee maker.

Overall, this hotel had a good location - close to the highway, and right across from a WalMart and next to a few restaraunts. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and in good shape, despite the age of the hotel.

I was only there for a short period of time and think that's the only reason I'd moderately recommend it. I don't think a longer stay (I was there for two nights) would have been enjoyable. I didn't make it to breakfast, but it looked scarce at best. The lady at the front desk was nice, but incredibly slow and seemed to struggle with even the simplest […] of tasks. I already had my reservations through Hotels.com, so you'd think checking in would be quick - it wasn't. When I got to my room the remote for the TV didn't work, so I went to the front desk for some fresh batteries - that took 15 mins (plus the wait time for her to finish with other customers, did I mention she worked very slowly?). They didn't work so I had to go back again. The problem is both times I had to wait about 10-15 mins before I could talk with her because she was so slow and had people backed up to check in (and this was after 9pm on a Sat night). She ended up sending the manager with me and he came into my room (I guess he didn't believe me that the remote didn't work, even with fresh batteries). He tried a bunch of random remotes (that looked like he'd bought at the local Walmart, none of which matched the TV) and none of them worked. So, he said he'd fix it the next day. To his credit, there was a new remote (that matched the TV) when I returned late the next night. It worked, so while it was a bit inconvenient the first night to keep getting up to fool with the volume and change the channels, it eventually got fixed. On the bright side, they had a frig and microwave in the room, which came in handy. The A/C & heat didn't work that great, but I eventually fooled with it enough to get it at a servicable level. Again, it wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in over the past two months of traveling, but it wasn't great either. Skaityti daugiau
