The place is very quiet and clean, the staff is helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are well layed out.

Very satisfied with stay. The hotel management has thought carefully about extra small ways to make the stay comfortable--e.g. workout room with good air conditioning, very pleasant lobby conducive to gathering. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Very satisfactory and functional. Does what you need it to, but nothing more. Room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were fine too - free breakfast in the morning always helps too.

Check-in was quick and the King suite was perfect for our party of three adults. Most of our time was spent in Carlisle but the time we had at the Hampton Inn was very comfortable. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked even though it was incredibly busy.

Always very satisfied with my stay at this Hampton Inn location. Room is always spotless, staff very courteous and breakfast on the go is great.

The hotel is in very good shape and service is perfect, including a very good breakfast. Depending on where you work, location and distance may be a problem.

The hotel and room were very clean. Everything about the room was very comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning had a nice selection of hot and cold items to choose from. The hotel was also easy to find.

Clean and nicely decorated. King bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of room. The counter on the angle in the corner is genius. Plenty of countertop for two. View from the windows was cool.

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, stayed one night (this was my 12th stay at this hotel) breakfast was very enjoyable-- quite a few choices ! Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel, they have my business for the foreseeable future

Although not very close to the Harrisburg-West exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, this Hampton Inn is well worth the slight additional drive.

I was in the area for the weekend and stayed over Saturday night...every thing was fine including the check-in experience, cleanliness of room, bed comfort, noise or lack of it, and breakfast was great with everything I needed to start the day. This was the tenth time I've stayed here and I plan on returning.

This hotel is generally very good; my wife and I have stayed there many times and liked it. This time they gave us a ground floor room and it was extremely noisy at night. I recommend asking for another room if they give you one on the ground floor.

The staff at the Hampton Inn in Mechanicsburg were courteous and helpful. My room was most satisfactory and comfortable. The breakfast in the lobby area was plentiful. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is also very accessable to the freeway, shopping, and restaurants.

Helpful, friendly, courtious, and knowledgable best descrribes the staff and the hotel in general. It is out of the way even though it is only a minute from the highway. There are several quiet places that are very nice to sit outside and watch the pool or eat a meal outside in charming little quiet areas. This was a nice hotel to stay at but I would not stay there again because of the location. I would rather pay a few more dollars to stay somewhere that was in a better location.

My cousin, friend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend concert that was in Hershey. Although it is a good 20 minutes away from the park, the price was unbeatable! Aside […] from the name printed on the side of the building, there was no sign indicating the Hampton Inns location which was among other business buildings. I think I only slept for 2 to 3 hours the whole night. I kept waking up in pain and every time I went to sleep, the air conditioner turned on and wakened me. The breakfast was excellent. Our children liked the pool. I will never stay in this hotel again. The hotel needs to buy new beds and a new heating / cooling system.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our 5 and 2 year old children. We had an adjoining room with my in-laws, which was very convenient. We were in town for Chrysler's in Carlisle, as were many others. The hotel was about 25 minutes from the Fairgrounds. It was the same distance to Hershey Park, which we visited one day. My in-laws visited Lancaster […] and Gettysburg in the same day. The hotel was very clean; the staff was friendly, accomodating, and worked diligently to meet any reasonable request. The breakfast selection was great; the food was warm and well stocked for the large crowd staying at the hotel. The outdoor pool was heated and clean. The only situation we encountered was a light in the pool was floating one evening. We were assured that it was safe. We really had an enjoyable stay . It was only a 1 night stop over as was the case with some of the other guests I spoke to. Great value and very helpful staff. It's not a 5 star resort , but then again this hotel doesn't claim to be .

The front desk staff at this hotel were TERRIFIC in every way, and helped us tremendously on a night when we otherwise would have been homeless due to massive area-wide power outages where we live. The location of the hotel is odd and not terribly convenient to much. But the hotel itself was fine: clean, comfortable, and with excellent service.

I stayed on a Sun night due to having business at the Capitol on Mon. Room was clean and quiet breakfast was good. Pool area looked nice though I did not swim. It was very pleasant and enjoyable. The staff was very helpful every time we had a question or a need. I sincerely wish that I had paid attention to names, though, because there was one young lady working evenings at the front desk who stood out even from the rest. Excellent facility for the price. Standard of Hampton Inns well maintained at this facility. Only minor downside is the location in an industrial park that was devoid of all activity and nearby eateries.
