"Amazing Location and Spectacular Spa Suites"
From the moment I checked in to the Monte Carlo it was fabulous. The check in line moved quickly. We booked the Spa Suite and the room was everything we hoped it would be. We had a view of City Center, some of the strip, the Monte Carlo pools and the Bellagio fountains as well. The room had a large spa tub on the window. The bathroom was large and the […] shower was big with good water pressure. The room came with a bar area and a fridge. The one thing wrong with the room is the sink in the bar area did not have running water. It just didn't work. The guest services were fast, friendly and helpful. Great job housekeeping. We got dining credits for Monte Carlo, and when we used them the food was yummy, but the service at the restaurants needed improvement. The cafe needs to work on their speed of service. Diablos was fun, but overpriced for what we actually got. The Monte Carlo pool was fun with a lot to do from the wave pool and lazy river to the beach volleyball court. Great pool for having fun with friends and family. Not really a good party pool or a great place to party cabana style. The Monte Carlo is located next to the new and cool City Center and is a tram ride away from the Bellagio. Across the street from Monte Carlo are the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and a lot of great shopping and dining. It is the place to be on the strip! The hotel was under construction, but was still nice. We went to take the kids for a couple of nights to play in the pool etc. The atmosphere in the pool area is not really for kids. They enjoyed the wave pool, but the activities surrounding the area is NOT for kids. There is REALLY loud music and activites for adults around the pool, alot of drinking […] games. The lazy river would have been nice, but adults are crowded around and standing all along the inside edge drinking, so in places you couldnt even get by them! The Monte Carlo was the perfect hotel to celebrate in. Competitively priced for the surrounding hotels like it. Originally I stayed south of the Strip thinking it would be the south end of the strip, however I was actually about 8 miles away from the strip. I had to cancel my stay and book elsewhere. "My Monte Carlo stay"
Im overall happy with my stay. My only 2 minor complaints is that the windows to my room were in bad condition. Theres was a thin film over them that was scratched and ripped so it was unable to look out to see the strip. The other thing was all the people promoting their steakhouse club party thats not free after hearing 20 times that it is. "Hotel was Ok for the Price"
Hotel was low cost and convenient. That said, they charged an extra $20 per night more for the Internet which I couldn't get to work so never used. This should have been disclosed when booking. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The tap in the bath tub dripped. The room was nice and spacious. Clean, had everything we needed and nice toiletries. The only thing I can criticise about our stay was the length of time it took to check in. 45 minutes at 1 o'clock in the morning. Not good!
