I am one of the most difficult people to impress with a hotel. The hotel must be perfect from front desk to bedroom to fitness center to Executive Lounge. The service has to be PERFECT. Great deal for location and price. Comfortable updated rooms and facilities. A bit out of the city but the drive is worth it because your money gets you so much more here.

Bathroom was too small to turn around. One has to sit sideways on the toilet to fit. Not surprisingly, the toilet seat was loose as a result. The door handle was dysfunctional, requiring several attempts to enter the room. The hotel signage outside my room was so bright i thought it was morning when I awoke in the middle of the night. I expected more […] from a Westin-branded hotel. The staff was pleasant but after approving a late checkout for me, my room key was invalidated after regular checkout time. This hotel was fantastic. The linens and bathroom were super clean. I was in town for a gaming convention and I needed to heat up food that I bought from a resturant I'm town. The concierge was nice enough to have or of the staff bring a microwave to my room. It was a lovely touch on an already great stay.

Everything was A+ except for the bathroom, a little small and no separate shower from bath. The restaurant is also A+. Great service.

Stayed at this hotel Dec 2011 for 2 days for a conference. Hotel rooms are tight and drab. Bathroom is tight. Heavenly shower is a shower with 2 heads...air quality not great. Biggest issue was restaurant in the hotel was extremely overpriced and had horrific service - days in a row! This hotel is amazing. The hotel itself is stunning. The staff was totally on it. The resturaunt was delicious. They will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within a five mile radius. The bed was heavenly. Just a perfect experience. I will always stay there when I'm in Morristown NJ.

This looked to be a nice hotel when booking online but there were issues. The room was very small and the king size bed wasn't king at all. The air conditioning didn't work so we had to prop the window open.

I have stayed at this hotel many times for business and most recently with my family. The staff is ultra courteous and responsive at all times. The hotel is lovely and has that alluring Westin smell the moment you walk in the door. I could not recommend this hotel due to the fact that while we were in our room a stranger entered, having been mistakenly given a key card by the front desk. This kind of mistake is really unacceptable.

I stayed at this hotel for a wedding weekend. I booked a king sized bed room and it was extremely small. My guest and I were constantly bumping into each other. The bathrooms were even smaller and had zero privacy. When I closed the main door it somehow triggered the dead bolt lock and my guest was locked out of the door and a bell hop had to break […] down the door to get her back in the room(she almost missed the shuttle to the wedding). The bar was very fun however it closed very early even when the wedding guests would have produced a large sum of money they would not keep it open past 1am and were kicking people out of the restaurant. We had a rehearsal dinner in the hotel and the room was not air conditioned, people were literally dripping sweat and the staff (who barely spoke English) just mumbled responses and did not nothing to solve the problem. The air conditioning was obviously broken. I feel bad for the parents of the groom who paid tons of money on this party and it was unbearable due to the lack of air. Room was comfortable but very small. Bathroom was tiny. The Westin touches were very nice, but this is an out of date and tired building that will keep me from coming back. Very dark and institutional. The rate I paid was comparable to the other business hotels in the market, but I did not feel it was a good value. The restaurant was a huge disappointment. […] The dinner menu was indecipherable and the food overpriced for the location. As there was only one restaurant in this huge hotel (and no restaurants nearby) a more accessible menu would have been nice. Thank goodness there is a bar menu with one sandwich on it. Greeted with a smile by the receptionist, offered assistance with dining reservations... nice hotel in a convenient location... with a great bar... what more could one ask for?

No way this is five star hotel. Check-in clerk seemed bothered to check me in at 12:30am. Was told hotel was sold out and I had been upgraded. Ahh, lucky again, I thought. But then I thought I had stepped into service elevator as it had the moving blankets on the walls. But, I was in the right place. Lights in the ceiling in the elevator were uncovered. […] Well, that says enough about the elevator. But, that by itself wasn't a big deal of course, just struck me as odd for a five star hotel. I walked into the room and was so disappointed. Old blinds covering dirty windows. Old furniture that someone's grandmother had clearly donated to the hotel and they had plopped down into the corner. Old-schooI TV. Old carpeting. Hallway carpet sometimes didn't match in color. Would have left hotel if I had the chance, in a heartbeat. My colleague checked in at 7pm and had exact same expererience. We traded stories in the morning. We will never go back. Never. With that said, bathroom had been renovated and was in very good condition and beds/bedding were in good shape. Just felt dirty to me, but I didn't look for it either. This hotel was wonderful. I am allowed our corporate rate, but found the rate was cheaper through hotels. com by 30.00. I love the Westin bed! Our stay was terrific.

The overall style and look of the hotel is very nice. I think the upkeep was a little lacking. For example, a recent paint job left paint drippings on the shower tile and mirror. Other than a few little things like that, it was nice. The food is fantastic, by the way. The restaurant is excellent.

The Westin Governor Morris is an extremely well maintained hotel. Staff are not only extremely professional in appearance but in how they treat their patrons. The hotel was centrally located to a wide variety of churches, historical buildings and downtown Morristown. The hotel is a perfect accommodation for attending events near the "green". We used the shuttle to take us back and forth to the Performing Arts Center. It was perfect.

We took a night away from the world and went to this hotel. the "look" is fabulous, the great relations couldn't have been more accommodating - traveled the world and this was on the tops for customer service. Only downpoint.. no fridges in the rooms and not enough pillows, altho they will bring as many as you wish..

With the exception of the lobby, the hotel looks like a redone Holiday Inn. Rooms are bland at best and the bathrooms are cramped. I'm a fan of Starwood properties for the most part so this was a truly disappointing experience. Also - the snacks in my room were half eaten and not by me.

I lived in Morristown many years ago and was surprised and greatly pleased to see the amazing renovation of this stately hotel. It's lobby is so welcoming and comfortable. The room was spacious and the shower with the double-headed spray was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and were respectful when we had the "do not disturb" sign on. Lovely hotel. Extremely accommodating staff. Sliding bathroom door surprisingly difficult to open and close, which made for a small but pervasive annoyance. Fitness equipment needs some regular maintenance. I would stay here again.

A very nice/clean Hotel in a safe location of DC. Fairly close to the tourists attraction venues. Hotel was a little pricey, would have been nice to have received a few more free amenities with the stay, like free Internet or Conntiental Breakfast but in general I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We were very impressed with the Westin. A Grand Hotel in a beautiful part of the world. Quite the delighhtful night away after spending 2 nights in NY. As part of a larger trip touring Florida, New York and New Jersey in 10 days we really found this to be very enjoyable. Only minor problem was that the shower head needed some maintenance (it was coming […] out of the wall?) but when we brought this to the attention of hotel staff at check out (it was not enough of an issue to mention before!) they were all too helpful and kind. Having travelled a lot and needing a break from family this really hit the spot. We enjoyed fantastic steaks as piping hot room service and the room was incredibly spacious allowing us to set up our travel cot for our 9 month old daughter. The staff were lovely, courteous and could not do enough for us. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and will be back again for sure! I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Skaityti daugiau
