Locals escape the scene by hitting the cafés in the Schanzenviertel, one kilometre away, while ferries and sightseeing tours leave from the docks of Landungsbrücken.

Nice neighbourhood in St. Pauli. Hotel were nicer than we thought, excellent value for money paid. Nice service, comfortable restaurant. I can really recommend.

+++ Very valuable hotel, a little bit from the center of town. 3 stops on the Metro to both Imtech Arena and main train station. For the price of a hostels private room you here got a roomy bed and bath, with fridge/minibar, tv, hairdryer included etc. Complementary sparkling water, tea and coffee!! - Area was a little "off the beaten path" at night […] but with bus outside and metro only 7min away this was ok. Watch out for the speed camera on the approach to the hotel! Booked this hotel because it was near the football stadium for the Europa League Final. From memory about 3/4 stops on the S-Bahn. Good value, spacious room and a nice breakfast in the morning. Car parking facility is also good. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Vi savnede vejledninger og brochurer på dansk. Der er trods alt kun 160 km. til DK, og vi mødte mange danskere i Hamburg, så vi syntes at man godt kunne skrive div. på dansk også.

Meget venlig og hjælpsomt personale. Hotellet ligger i gå afstand af de mest interassante steder i Hamburg. Morgen buffet meget velassorteret.

"Nordic Domicil wird nicht mehr unser Domizil"
Zum positiven Teil der Unterbringung: Alle Angestellten und Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben auf unsere Wünsche umgehend reagiert, hier gibt es keinen Grund zur Beanstandung. Auf dem Zimmer standen kostenlos Wasserkocher,Tee und Kaffee einschließlich Zucker und Milch sowie Mineralwasser zur Verfügung. Zum negativen Teil der Unterbringung: Der […] Fahrstuhl und die Flure sehen zum Teil schon sehr ramponiert aus, der verlegte Teppichboden wirft Wellen und stellt somit eine Stolperfalle bzw. Gefahrenquelle dar. Im Zimmer befanden sich über dem Fernsehgerät Spinnenweben, hier wurde nicht mit der erforderlichen Gründlichkeit gereinigt. Das Frühstück war für den erhobenen Preis, welcher sich pro Person im zweistelligen Bereich befand, mangelhaft. Die Auswahl an Wurst und Konfitüren war zu gering. Das Rührei war trotz entsprechenden Behälters kalt. Die Brötchen waren u. E. leider ein wenig zu hart. Für diesen Preis hatten wir ein besseres Frühstück erwartet. Abschließend ist zu sagen, dass wir das Nordic Domicil nicht mehr für weitere Besuche in Hamburg in Betracht ziehen werden, was nicht am Personal, sondern an den geschilderten negativen Aspekten liegt.
