Absolutely HATED this decision! Thought I'd save a few bucks and stay here, BIG mistake! When we walked in, it smelled like something was burning. The room was nice and it was clean, so that was good. The real trouble came, when we wen to sleep. The A/C was broken and kept shutting off, set the auto fan and it turns off at the lowest temp of 60, set […] it on high so it will never turn off and it still turned off as if it was still set to "auto". Then about 7am, the maids started vacuuming the hall just outside our door, and then right at our doorway, then started pecking on our door at about 8am! I didn't sleep all night because it was so hot, and then I was awakened at 7am and couldn't go back to sleep! I was LIVID! If it hadn't been for all of that, the stay would have been perfect! I was so tired from driving and exhausted from such a draining weekend, that I had no energy to even say anything. I just wanted to get out of there, and get back home to Houston and to my own bed! I told my wife, after we got back, I hope they send me a request for a review, because I am going to "let em have it!" Well here it is! DON'T STAY HERE! Go to the Omni Hotel or Aloft, both of them were very nice, and I kick myself everyday that I allowed myself to be swayed by a few bucks! Skaityti daugiau

The staff was friendly, the location was good and breakfast was great. AC was cold enough but even on high, the fan could keep the whole room cool. It was a minor inconvenience fixed with a box fan.

I would stay here again. The location was very close to the airport. The contential breakfast was nice. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The shops and restaurants were close.

The Wingate by Wyndham lives up to my experience at other hotels in this chain. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. There is a large exercise room with well-maintained equipment, a nice breakfast area with hot items that are kept well-stocked. The staff is pleasant and responsive. Our room was very spacious, with a sitting area, microwave, and refrigerator. Shared a room with my sister, and we found it to be very comfortable. We enjoyed the upscale mall area across the highway--an excellent cupcake place and a nail salon we were happy with. This property was a great choice, the best of the 4 we booked over Spring break. It's location to the airport was great, and the surrounding area very nice. The stay was fine. Getting there was somewhat trickier! We phoned the shuttle as directed. A shuttle arrived which was going to Wingate but when we got there it turned out to be the wrong one! There are two Wingates in the airport area and we had been taken to the wrong one and the shuttle driver had left! It was after midnight and we had been travelling […] for 24 hours. But the good news was that Carlos, the check-in clerk from the first one took us to the correct Wingate!! So Carlos is the Number One Wingate employee in our book!! Although the website says they provide airport shuttle service, it is NOT 24-hour service. I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and was counting on their shuttle service. When we checked in and I told them we would need a ride to the airport for our 6:15 am flight they informed me we would have to use a taxi because their shuttle […] service didn't start until 8:00 am! Nice hotel with pretty good breakfast options included in room pricing. My only complaint is that the side door never locked and anyone could walk in whenever they chose without a key. Other than that I was very happy with my stay

My sons and I were only in Dallas for one night, but our hotel stay was great. It was close to where we needed to be, but most importantly - they LOVED the breakfast; which I thought was great because I didn't have to deal with IHOP. Thank you!

Main reason to choose this hotel was the airport shuttle. Well, you NEED TO CALL THE HOTEL TO GET SOMEONE TO PICK YOU UP AT THE AIRPORT. When you are traveling from other countries sometimes you don't have the currency and the credit cards won't work on the public phones... so very inconvenient. I needed a room for an overnight layover at DFW so I picked a close low cost hotel near the airport with shuttle service. I just wanted a bed and a shuttle but I only ended up getting the bed. Their shuttle service ends at 8:00 pm and doesn't start in the morning until 7:00 am. I arrived at 7:15 pm, got my luggage, passed through customs, and went to […] the hotel shuttle spot. There was none there so I called the hotel at 8:04 pm and was told that their shuttle service ended at 8:00. I took a cab to the hotel ($28 with tip) and tried to arrange a shuttle back in the morning. I was informed by the desk clerk that the first shuttle started at 7:00 am. I had an 8:00 am flight so that was cutting it too close. I had to hire a taxi to get a ride back to the airport for a flat rate of $40 so the cab fare ended up costing me more than the hotel room. First, I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Irving! I drove up 4 hours from Houston only to find I booked the wrong day. The hotel was nice enough to change the booking and give me a bed for the night. They even looked up an address for me to get a car charger for my phone as I had left my charger at home. The room looked amazing when I got […] to it. Aside from a few weird spots on the couch and something weird on the desk chair, this place was great! I had a fridge, a microwave, nice tv, and a couch. Even better was that the alarm clock worked and was easy to set. I was disappointed in my fellow lodgers who were up loudly roaming the halls after 1 am. They made it hard to sleep. Breakfast the next morning was pretty impressive too with its standard cereals and hot oatmeal. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I actually look forward to staying here again. I arrived at the hotel a day earlier than my reservation and they were able to get me into my room a day early with no problem. The location is very convenient to attend an event at the Irving Convention Center. Many Restaurants and other amenities are a couple blocks away within walking distance if need be.
