Very friendly staff and the breakfast and location where excellent! Rated it a 4 for cleanliness of room cause there was some black spot from hand prints on the bathroom walls and just by the lip around the bed just some left over dirt but that's about it! Been using this hotel for the last 2 1/2 years when attending events at my daughter's college. I was very pleased during the first year of our stays at Baymont...but I must admit that I have become somewhat disappointed during recent visits. It seems that the management is taking steps to cut down on costs, which unfortunately is also cutting down on […] quality of service. The housecleaning has been spotty and the breakfast has become shotty. Last time we stayed 2 nights, the room was not made up. And apparently, if you are not in the lobby by 7:30am...you lose out on the option for gravy, fruit, danishes, orange juice and coffee.. We stayed here last weekend and the breakfast tables were never cleaned. We may need to consider the Hampton or Super 8 down the road. for future stays. Skaityti daugiau

Had a very unorganized staff with terrible management. Towels we're dirty, pool not heated at all, there was no Jacuzzi as advertised, and had to drive an hour to get anywhere other than Walmart.

Upon arrival at 4pm, was given a room but the room was not cleaned yet. Noticed the employee was in the process, so we went back down to the lobby and waited for a bit. Was never asked if anything was wrong. Went up again and noticed that the room was still open, so I notified the clerk and they got me another room. The cleaning person did apologize […] over an over because he was the only one cleaning and had 17 rooms. Said, "no problem, I understand". Upon checking the room out, we noticed the fabric chair was stained all over and I just stayed away from it. The coffee grind package was used, only 1 towel in bathroom. We went swimming that night and the heated pool was awesome and refreshing, but I noticed the second night of swimming, none of the used towels or stuff laying around was cleaned up. The breakfast looked good from a distance but more issues there and I could tell other travelers were frustrated too. Orange juice dispenser just had water, no milk one morning, just empty containers, hockey puck biscuits with gravy, no hot water for the oatmeal packs, etc.. I didn't complain because we expected just cereal and juice. Overall I would say the rating is down the middle. This hotel looks nice from the outside and could really have potential to be a 5 star if only the workers would take pride in their hotel and challenged to make it better. Skaityti daugiau

Okay hotel, clean and very accessible to locale stores and restaurants. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Had in room coffee maker with coffee and tea, but no cream, sugar or cups to drink out of.

Didn't pay much for this hotel so wasn't expecting much... and got even less. Staff was nice, but room was dirty. Stains on the chair and ottoman and trash in the floor. Bathroom was also dirty. The address on your site is incorrect. Address is a vacant lot and a few miles from actual location.Room was not cleaned when we returned. We stayed 2 nights.

Staff did an excellent job. The room was a bit on the small / crowded side, but clean and well kept up. The indoor pool was small but never crowded. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very nice room, comfortable and roomy with large bathroom. Liked the indoor corridors and elevator for 2nd floor. Only complaints: maid service did not replace used wash cloths or leave new soap and shampoo, just put the used soap by the sink. Also the breakfast is not very good. Needs better variety. We have stayed here many times and have had no problems. The last time we stayed we accidentally got some dye from a shirt on the sheet. It was washa ble dye and would wash out with no problem. They wanted to charge us $150 to replace the damaged property. The only complaint is the Continental Breakfast did not have sausage as advertised. There was a note from Management about the inconvenience.

We stayed at the Baymont Inn as a stop-off point for our anniversary trip. We were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff and with the cleanliness of the hotel. It was a beautiful room and thanks to hotels.com we also got a great rate! We'll definitely stay here on our next trip to Cornelia!

We picked this Baymont because we stayed at the Baymont in Asheville recently, and we liked that well enough. All in all, we were not disappointed. On the other hand, this Baymont is an older hotel, and it shows its wear. There were a couple of items wrong with the room, all minor ones. The staff reacted well, and were very helpful. What was somewhat […] annoying was the Baymont's access procedure to reach the internet: incredibly complicated. Bottom line? We will probably stop at another Baymont, if the opportunity arises, but perhaps not the one ein Cornelia. Nothing against Cornelia, however on this trip, we would probably drive on to Commerce. on check in we had a great front desk clerk. Very nice, and friendly. The second front desk clerk was very unpleasant, nasty attitude and disposition. Cleaning lady (from Michigan) very nice lady going out of her way to get us a room with a properly working AC unit. Clean hotel, great location!

The hotel is situated close to restaurants and stores as well as major highways. It was centrally located for our trips to Helen and to our family get-togethers. The staff was excellent in providing us with all we asked of them. The room was kept very clean. We had a very pleasant stay and would come back again.

This was at one time a really nice hotel, but time has not treated it well. The first thing we were greeted with in the parking lot was a used contraceptive that looked like it had been there for a while. Had to leave early due to emergency. Was only at the hotel for 3.5 hours. The front desk didn't even inquire as why I was checking out early or if the room was satisfactory. Just said I was free to leave the key in the room.

The staff here was so friendly and helpful, giving us directions to restaurants in town. The room was nice and cool. The bed was good. I would stay here again on my way to the Smokey Mountains.

Of all the hotels my Fiance and I have stayed at over the past 9 months (which is almost 50 different stays) we both agree that this was our favorite hotel of them all. dry county, couldn't have a glass of wine with my steak for dinner, Longhorn and a mexican resteraunt were the only non-fast food options available. no alcohol served on sundays anywhere in this county.

Overall the hotel was nice and comfortable. The staff was very nice. The only thing that I would like to see is more fruit at breakfast and maybe scrambled eggs. Too many carbohydrates, ie: waffles, biscuits, french toast sticks, cereal, toast, bagels and pastries. I had a hard time finding anything low carb to eat.
