Staff was helpful in printing up my airline boarding pass, giving me directions to the freeway, and the breakfast selection was quite nice and very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

Located close to Clemson, but also the Norfolk Southern mainline! Trains every half hour.

Nice hotel - convenient for a visit to Clemson University. Room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff provided very good service. But room was very noisy several times of the day/night because of the hotel's proximity to train tracks with trains that woke me at midnight, 3:00 am and 5:30 am!

the hotel was average. was disappointed that hotel didn't offer hypo allergenic pillows/bedding. bathroom was extremely disappointing. shower stall was like one on a cruise ship.

Our key worked sporadically; NO VENDING MACHINES--even though there were supposedly vending machines; the room smelled musty. We extended our stay an additional day but found other accommodations for the second night.

The room was nice and quite, however the free Wifi doesn't work. Over all a good stay.

Pros: the people who work there are really nice and the breakfast was good. Cons: the bathroom had a very poor set up. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door that didn't lock. The room was made for single bed, but two queen size beds were put in this small room. Needed some maintenance, holes in wall, wall paper peeling. Needed a goid cleaning.

It's a great place to stay to be close to your kids on campus. Too bad the rates triple and quardruple during football season. It just seems like the room would need to be gilted to go from $75 to $375.

Would be fine for a night or two. I stayed for a week. The train runs right behind the Hotel and shakes the bulding. It is not too loud but it affected my sleeping. The hotel was under rentovations during my stay so your stay will likely be better than mine. Staff was nice, rooms were right out of the 70s, and beds were fine.

Rooms were clean, beds were very comfy. Non-smoking hotel that actually had NO smoke odor whatsoever. Several nice restaurants right up the road. Bathroom was a bit small though adequate. Breakfast was good

Needed a room at the last minute. It can be difficult to find rooms in Clemson. This was a good choice for us. Reasonable price, nice hotel and it met our needs. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

I can not remember sleeping in a smaller hotel room. I woke up about every the AC compressor blasted on. Its noise was disrupting to say the least. I will not stay there again.

On the outskirts so the neighborhood wasn't great (but not terrible either). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property was clean but a little outdated - the carpet in my room was very old and loose. Linens were standard motel quality. Nothing special but a good price for a decent property in a decent location.

Hotel service was good - personnel very nice - breakfast was very good - had 2 wonderful nights sleep - one night had a person overhead who was loudly thumping back and forth across the floor until after midnight - even after the desk asked them to quiet down. Would not stay in ground floor room again.

The room was quite expensive and small. Surprisingly it had only a tiny bathroom with a toilet and shower and a sliding pocket door for privacy. There was not enough space in the bathroom to take our suitcase in there with us. There was not a closet either. The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. The stay was great! Very comfortable and convenient to the University. The hotel staff was very accomodating and very nice. The little tiny fitness center could use some attention but was sufficient.

A good hotel for the money. Clean and convenient, though a few things needed attending to such as regrouting the bath tile. The breakfast was much more than I expected with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit and breads. Another plus - my room had the quietest AC of any hotel I have ever stayed at!

Stephen at the front desk could not have been nicer. The second night was noisy due to NBA finals going on but that was no one's fault just a young sports team staying in house watching an exciting game. Very good value w/ the breakfast included.

The window was open but I didn't notice it until the next morning, which was actually frightening. The carpets needed a deep cleaning. The mirror over sink was dirty. Wasn't the worst...not the best for the amount of money I paid for the night's stay. Front desk staff was very pleasant.

Not a destination nor extended stay, but good for an overnight stay. Persistent odor of cigarette smoke depsite assurances the property was smoke free.
