Very good location and good free internet but rooms have no air conditioning; bed mattresses need to be replaced because they are too soft; noisy if your room faces a street because you need open the windows; shower curtain is short and a lot of water go to the floor out of the shower space when taking a bath; dusty floor carpet.

Convenient location to train station and city hall square.

Location very good within walking distance to Tivoli Gardens, Central Railway Station, etc..Close to pier and they have a special price from the hotel to Airport by taxi of about DKK225.00 which was quite good.Good breakfast!Just bear in mind that is close to what you might call "the red district" but it did not bother us.Very safe location

For $!60.00 for one night, we thought there should have been at some toliteries and face cloths. Wehn we were sent to our room there were no linens at all. Room very small.

My husband and I ended a cruise in Copenhagen and stayed here for 2 nights before flying back to our home in the U.S. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. The staff was helpful and informative, the room was clean and comfortable and the price was certainly affordable compared to other hotels we had compared it to. And being only […] a block from the Central Train Station certainly made it convenient getting to the airport. It's really a great location as a base for seeing the sights of Copenhagen. And although it's considered to be located in the red-light district, we never felt uneasy or worried about our safety. The ladies of the night even helped us with directions! Friendly staff in a central location. Rooms were clean and secure, if a little basic. Good for a night or 2, but would become limiting after that.

The location was great and the room fine. The service stunk. The internet was weak and the staff's solution was to blame my computer! The elevators went out as well. One person at the desk. Gruff and abrupt from overwork. I stayed in hotels while in Denmark. This was the worst.

I was very disappointed by the hotel service, In fact one of the hotel staff was very rude and have lot of attitude, when been asked for information. Very basic break fast , Bathrooms were not very tidy , and there were moulds, towels were spelling bad (smell of acid) .not very comfortable beds. We stayed at the Copenhagen Star for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is great, in the restaurant and bar-filled neighborhood of Vesterbro and steps away from Central Station. The room was okay, but the carpets either need a deep cleaning or need to be replaced. The bathroom had a funky smell that came and went, and the bathroom floor basically flooded […] because the shower curtain was too short. Wifi was free and fast, which was a nice bonus, and breakfast was great with a large variety of food. Warning though: booking through hotels.com got me the room only. The buffet is 9 EUR per person if you need to add it on later. Overall, we were fine with our choice, especially because it saved us a bunch of money in pricey Copenhagen. Skaityti daugiau

Had a nice single there for a night. Nothing to complain outside of not being to find an iron. Was eventually helped by someone at the front desk to get one out of the closet space. Fine hotel, but I've stayed at better in this city.

great location just by the central station so no messing about after the airport. very short walk to any central attractions. plenty of restaraunts bars etc within 5 minutes walk so you can relax at night and not have to go far. very clean rooms (what to expect of scandinavia) and VERY hot water and well heated rooms. could not fault it during our stay,would […] recomend it to anyone who is not looking for a 5 star? The hotel is only a block away from the central Train Station if location is your main concern. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. Our room was relatively clean. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but I believe most of Copenhagen is like that.

When you have two Asian/Oriental on separate occasions knocking on your door and entering without giving me a chance to answer the door or to get decent before answering the door I think it is just poor mannerism and service. It was my understanding when I paid for the room that there was a time to vacate the room, but one hour before that time another knock on the door from the chambermaid telling me that I had to vacate the room. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. The quality of the room was OK considering the price. The bed linens (which are usually one of my top concerns) were clean and comfortable. The area was slightly sketchier than anticipated; however, it was only a two minute walk to the train station, bars, and restaurants.

The hotel is no more than 5 minutes to the central train station by walking, and is also situated right in the center of Copenhagen, making it extremely easy to walk to or take transit to attractions. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to answer all questions. Everyone spoke perfect English, no language barriers existed. […] Condition of room was good/comfortable. The toilet had water stains in the bowl (cosmetic), and the tap water pressure was rather low, but these issues are minor. Hotle was at very convienent place,the single room was very small,especially bath room.The staff was very roude, one exemple is that in the morning I came down for the breakfast and handed over the breakfast coupon to the incharge and started breakfast, in between I had to go to my room for the urgent use of bath room, on my return there was a new incharge […] who asked coupon, I told her the story of leaving my breakfast in between, but disgracefully she reffered me to the receptionest, who again casted doubt on my statement and refused to re-enterd me.This was a embarrassing situation for me as she did not trusted me for a matter of just 8 Euros.This was a first experience during my touring life.I shall never like to stay in this hotel again. Just 3 minutes from the central station. Room is clean and spacious. Receptionist is generous to give us late check out till 2 pm. Counter staff is good.

Our family (2 adults, 4 kids (6 yrs, 4 yrs and 1yrs twins)) were split into two rooms due to overbooking. There weren't any family rooms available, eventhough our reservation was made 1 month earlier. So, we had two rooms without any extra costs. The rooms weren't next to each other, which was a little dissapointment, but our stay wasn't affected by […] that.
