Just bump over for a night for an early morning flight out of Sydney. Near the airport and accessible by an airport hotel shuttle. However, it would be great if the airport hotel shuttle is complimentry rather than paying AUD$6 per way.

Hotel very comfortable, close to airport, convenient to leave car in lock up garage when going away for a few days. Accommodation not too expensive and parking even more reasonable.

Excellent location for a overnight stay if you are traveling to/from Syney airport. Onsite parking costs 15$ which was not too bad. We had an early flight so didn't have breakfast. the check-in staff were most helpful, especially as one of our pieces of luggage had a rip and they tried to help repair it. The early checkout staff were not so helpful, […] watching us take the wrong route to locate the car, which was odd as we were the only guests checking out and they had just validated our parking ticket. There is a bar attached to the hotel which was lively and served reasonable food. Our room was on the same floor as where some work was being carried out so there was some noise of builders doing refurbishment but this stopped late afternoon. WiFi was excellent. We lost the luggage keys, and the staff was very helpful by rapidly finding a tool so we could open our bags.

Hotel staff were extremely rude we stayed in this hotel two weeks prior to this visit on our way overseas. The first stay was lovely the reception staff were great however on our return we were met with rude and vindictive staff . We would never stay with holiday inn in future we were wrapped after our first visit but so disappointed on our return staff […] are inconsistent and ruined the last leg of our holiday ! Excellent service, great family environment. Made my four boys feel special and didn't treat their questions as a nuisance. Restaurant food excellent quality and price.

We chose the Sheraton because a discounted rate made it competitive among the generally overpriced downtown Sydney Hotels. And what great value for money! Comfortable, luxurious and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay the hotel reception staff were very helpful and friendly ! We joined up to be priority members and will definitely stay with the holiday inn in the future. We were even allowed a late check out ! Thank you !

I'm not usually one to write these notes but I think it is fair to say that this hotel is a pit stop and not great value.. The entry is modern and reasonably nice however the rooms really need an update. There is internet available if you want to pay for it above the hotel rate. Our TV did not work. Have you heard of an airport hotel w/o a convenient shuttle service to the airport? Well, here is one. The shuttle leaves between 30 to 45 mins to the airport and it charges $6 to every passenger. I thought it was ridiculous.

Close to Sydney Domestic Airport but overall condition of the hotel is poor. The Holiday Inn Brand needs to invest in a refurbishment. The rooms are poor quality - noisy airconditioner, stains on the upholstery of the furniture, a shower curtain over the bath and some of the gym equipment in non working condition. Checking into the hotel was a most efficient service, late night, and we were offered the breakfast and the airport shuttle bus services at a discounted rate without having to ask. we would definitely stay there again. We only required an overnight stay between connecting flights. The shuttle driver was very grumpy even when asked a reasonable question […] and was not very forthcoming with informative answers which actually resulted in someone, not us, getting off at Terminal 2 when they really needed Terminal 3. The hotel was great for intransit travellers with shuttle buses to and from the airport. The hotel was restful and had all the facilities necessary. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Extremely comfortable. Scent at lobby and reception was very pleasant and inviting. Bartender was extremely helpful and friendly. So were the other staff. Only gripe would be the weird and squeezy layout/format of the basement carpark.

Cot was requested for our son but room was set up with a double and single, was corrected after a few hours. The security bar had been pulled from the door and left on the side, not a big issue for me but it showed a lack of attention to detail. Excellent location to International Airport - though best to have a shower in the large ensuite bathroom then a swim in the "plunge" pool. The punge pool - 1.2metres deep and about 10m long and 12 safety signs... the room excellent size and comfortable with a choice of pillows. Friendly and helpful staff helped make the stay very enjoyable

Staff were friendly, check in/out was efficient. Staff gave accurate advise on how to get to town. We stayed only 12 hours as part of a stop over.

Nothing special and it cost almost as much as the Marriott Circular Quay where we spent most of our holiday. We only came here for the last night to be closer to the airport. Very disappointing they wanted to charge $5 for 30 min Wifi. Even the 5 star Marriott downtown didn't charge us for Wifi use. We chose not to pay for Hol Inn Wifi on principle […] and walked a couple blocks to a cafe with free Wifi. We also noticed that employees at the front desk were distracted when attending to customers - mostly with each other - causing delays. Very pleased with hotel. Staff exceptionally helpful. Room very comfortable. Only complaint was that the carpet in the room needed to be cleaned. Quality of the food provided in both the bar and main restaurant were of very high quality and flavorful.

First impressions are important, so I booked the highest rated Sydney airport hotel that Expedia listed. I was shocked when the hotel shuttle cost anything, let alone $25 each way, to take me about 400 yards. And frankly the shuttle bus was barely road worthy. Also, charging $25+ for internet service in a 4 and a half star hotel is very disappointing […] in an airport hotel. And the restaurant food was below average as well. Stayed here after travelling from Canada. Headed out on another flight the next day. Great location, easy check in, and great room. Restaurant was average. Easy trip to downtown Sydney from the Train Station down the road.

For an overnight, it was perfect. The location was about 10 minutes from the terminal, and easily available by shuttle. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was courteous.

This hotel is nice if you have to get an early flight. Not for light sleepers since noise from other rooms and the occasional plane can be heard. Also: if you have to use the Internet: after a couple 100 MB you're get the option to have or lower speed or have to pay AUD 0.10 extra per MB. Found the hotel easily, although none of the Hotels were well marked on roads leading into the Airport. The outside is impressive and so was the foyer; however the corridors on the 4th floor were dim and carpet drab and stained. The walls were also damaged. The pool was a little too cold, but great to have for the kids & the location to the Mascot park across the road was great also to tire kids out before a long haul flight!

We chose this hotel as we were just needing an overnight stay whilst we were in transit returning from an overseas holiday. The location was a bit further than I expected from the Airport (approx $24 taxi fare), however the hotel itself was good. Given the short overnight stay we did not use look around much at all. The room was well mauntained and suitable for our needs - the front desk staff were very helpful and displayed above average service - we will stay with Holiday Inn again

We found the hotel to be great value for money. Very clean and well presented. Our stay was short but found the room to be as good as rooms we have paid twice as much for. On a negative note the TV reception was poor.

Our room was far larger than we expected and we were amazed at the wonderful view. We will definitely be back!

Overall it was clean and confortable. Good bathroom, comfortable beds, ideal for a one night stay in between flights - very convenient to Mascot Airport. Carpet in room needs repair/ replacing and we did not get our wakeup call. Check in was ho hum, check out was friendly. Room service was good.
