I want a predictable, no-surprises place to lay my head for a couple nights. The Comfort Inn provided that. Nothing extravagant...smallish room with one queen bed, not uncomfortable. The hallway (first floor) reeked of smoke but the room was spared. If this all sounds like faint praise, I will add that no-surprises and moderate are good things. Location central. The hallways smelled very much of smoke, although we had a non smoking room. Breakfast good and convenient. We stayed 2 nights due to a wedding in Hamilton.

Very nice staff. Free breakfast, no pool or workout room on the down side. But overall pretty good place. DIFFICULT to find because there's about 3 friggen streets with the same name.

We requested an early check in for noon, then I arrived even earlier than anticipated at 9am. Jason at the front desk went above and beyond to get me a room at that time, so I didn't have to attempt sleep in the vehicle. He was a life saver, as I had been driving all night, and desperately needed some shut eye before going to a wedding. The room was […] basic, (not that we needed more), but everything was clean, the only complaint was that the bed was obviously old, and bounced and shook any time you moved in the slightest. The stay was fine for a cheaper hotel. However, the WI-FI was horrible. Good luck trying to stream videos. Also, I asked the woman at the front desk about it, and she said that when it's busy it's slow. They clearly know of the problem. Additionally, the entrance to the hotel locks at midnight, and you need your keycard to swipe in after that. The key […] swipe at the entrance wasn't working, and she had to buzz me in every time. Title about says it all. Friendly and competent staff, easy location right by the QEW but still quiet. Hearty, varied breakfast with hard-boiled eggs, waffles and english muffins as well as the more typical cereal, juice, sticky pastries etc. Clean and comfortable room though minor maintenance issues: light went out in the bathroom the second night […] I was there, then discovered the night light didn't work either! This Hotel is a very tired great for construction workers and truckers, the whole place is really a smoking hotel as the whole place is covered in nicotine.

Genarally not bad. I have stayed in many Comfort Inn and others of higher ratings and can say that this place was fairly average. Breakfast typical sinple but OK continental breafast. I was not told that if we made the reservation via Hotels.com then (which was the case) then we would have to leave a $30 deposite and the rational was that just in case […] we drank the only bottle of water in the room - strange !!.. Fantastic place for the dog, had a patio door that lead to a grassy area, easy and quick access for the dog, room was clean, 'comfy' and big enough but wow, bed was so, so, so hard ... Hardest I've ever slept on .... Lobby needs updating, Continental Breakfast choices were ok, but seating was in another room - awkward ... Needed a place to stay overnight while visiting family en route back to US after vacation. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was fine and very convenient.

We requested a ground floor room as we have a small dog. They gladly gave us one which my husband was very happy about,(actuallly wrote down the number to get again). Also gave us a small "gift" bag containing dog biscuits,doggy bag and letter kindly explaining rules of hotel regarding pets.Overall nice place. Rooms are older but very clean

We had to find a place to stay with our dog after the movers emptied the house in preparation for our move. The Comfort Inn was a great place for us. The dog was welcomed with a couple of dog biscuits. Also, the grounds around the hotel are perfect for walking the dog. Thanks for the great night.

it was quiet but i wish the no-smoking was on th first floor as the smoke goes up and you have to go thou some of the first floor halls Thank-you

My friend and I went out for New Year's Eve and this hotel was walking distance to our destination. They are also pet friendly and even though I decided not to bring the dog, it is good to know for future reference. Friendly staff, clean room and a decent continental breakfast. No complaints at all! Thanks!

There was no elevator to get to the the second floor and there were no entrances close to our room.Also,the heating system is archaic and does not have clearly defined/labeled knobs and dials,I felt like a ham radio operator or someone playing roulette trying to get it to work and when it did it made the air too stifling breathe and had to be turned […] off.Once we were cold again the, in the middle of the night, messing with knobs and dials of the heater when we were half asleep and naked was not any fun.The staff was very courteous and helpful and offered to to do it for us but it was not worth effort,they need to replace their heating system and perhaps have someone on staff to offer to carry bags up flights of steps for weary travelers.I myself carried bags for a couple of older ladies checking in one night. Arrived at 9 pm and the room assigned to us was uncleaned with garbage and dirty sheets and towels. The one other room available had a defective a/c unit. All and all a very unsatisfying stay.

We booked with Comfort Inn for our wedding night. All hotels in Hamilton were booked, so I went with one of two options we had for a room. We were able to check in at 130am - after our wedding - with no hassle. Actually, the woman at the front desk was very pleasant and excited for us =o) It was great having a smoking room option. Everything was clean […] and comfy! Spent 1 nite in this hotel..room was clean and fairly comfortable although somewhat old and worn floor in bathroom etc. Very quiet, nice pillows, decent quick breakfast, friendly desk clerk.Convenient location close to highway. Really no problem with this hotel for short stay.

This is an economical hotel in a very convenient location (close to Highway 403, 407, QEW). There is no view as it overlooks the highway but the is little highway noise. The room was well-kept but is typcal for a lower priced hotel. The housekeepers do only the bare minimum and the wireless internet cut out for 1-2 minutes every 10 minutes or so, which […] is annoying. What a relief to be able to travel with our dog to visit our son in Hamilton! Not only were pets allowed, but we were given a little welcome package for him upon our arrival. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely return to this hotel.

The location of this hotel in convenient, being very close to the 403/QEW. Unfortunately the hotel itself is well below average, even considering the modest price. I stayed there for 3 days. Upon arrival, I found that the coffee cups in my room were very dirty and the room was in need of updating. The air conditioning unit squeeled off & on throughout […] the night. The cleaning crew did not do their job. They did nothing more than make up the bed and replace the used towel after my first night. After they left, the dirty coffee cups remained on the desk and they hadn't even bothered to empty the waste baskets or vacuum the floor. I didn't bring this to the manager's attention because I wanted to see if the service would improve. The next day was no better. In fact, the dirty dishes and garbage were never taken care of during my entire stay. Avoid this hotel if you value service and cleanliness.
