Overall enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly , courteous, n helpful. The patio n view to it is breath taking. We took couple of hours enjoying the patio n spa, they did not have towels available but as soon as I called front desk she came personally n brought us some n apologized for any inconvenience. Hotel has fenced in parking which makes […] it a secured feeling. Hotel is close to several great named restaurants like Chilis, Olive Garden, Joes Crab Shack. Room we got was a suite which had plenty of space n a deck to seat outside n enjoy the view n weather. Great hotel, I would recommend it to anyone n will definitely come back for another stay. I arrived late due to my flight being late. Once I arrived to the hotel, though I had my reservation code and information, not only could they not find my room RSVP, but they had additionally given away my room. This happened to three of us on the same business trip within three days of each other.

The rooms were neat and clean and the staff was very nice. My only concern is with the neighborhood. While I left and arrived each day when it was dark I can not comment on the neighborhood but the parking was in a locked/room controlled environment.

I stay in hotels 5 nights a week for work and have never posted review...until now. When I attempted to check in to the hotel the phone was ringing non stop and there was no one behind the counter. I waited for 4-5 minutes and walked over to the bar and asked the bartender if there was anyone working the front desk. He responded that there was but she […] was doing something and I would have to wait. I waited another 5 minutes and saw the GMs business card on the counter so I dialed his cell phone number and when it started a lady finally came to the counter. When I told her I had been waiting for over 10 minutes she didnt offer an explanation or apology but instead shrugged her shoulders at me. I checked in to my room and everything was "ok". The room was decent but the bed was rock hard. I did some work from the room for awhile and went and grabbed dinner at a restaurant near by. When I got back to the hotel I went to the bar to get a drink to take to my room and asked the bartender for a jack on the rocks. He didnt know what I was talking about so i pointed in out to him (they only had 8 or 9 different varieties of liquor). When he grabbed the bottle it was a brand new bottle and he handed it me and asked me to open the plastic seal on it for him! Overall it was a bad experience and I will not be staying here again. It's 2:00am. I have a flight out of DFW at 7:00am. I am awakened by the shrill, piercing sound of the fire alarm right above my headboard. Once I had convinced myself that my heart was indeed still beating, I checked the hallway. There was no one. I called the desk and asked what was going on. "Oh, someone set it off." "Evidently. Should I evacuate?" "Nah, […] it'll turn off in a minute." (It was 15 minutes to be precise) "Can I have a 4:45 wake up call as long as I have you on the phone?" "Sure." 5:15am. I am awakened by NOTHING! No call and I am now 30 minutes behind schedule. I rapidly pack and shower and head to the desk. I had to, since there was no rapid bill under my door. "How was your stay?" "Seriously?" "Yes." "Besides the deafening fire alarm and the lack of a wake up call, all was just fine." "I didn't call you?" "No." "I am sorry, but I had to kick those people out and it was hectic. In love with the new Marriott look...nice people, great room. BUT....hard to find and poor neighborhood make this a poor choice for me. Sorry Marriott.

The hotel was very welcoming and clean; the receptionist had our reservation correct, and the directions for parking were very clear and easy to follow. The room was clean and nice-looking, and the internet worked well. We were surprised at the high quality of the hotel and would definitely stay again.
