The hotel facility is in a great setting! I was there for business and just happened to book the hotel because it looked nice and was within my budget. I am just sorry I was not there longer to enjoy it. I hope to go back with my husband.

We stay here for our friends' wedding in Tamecula because of the reasonable pricing. And we are pleasantly surprised. The hotel is well-maintained and with a lot of good features ex. soaking pool, tennis court. The room is clean. And the location is close to the Pala Mesa area where the wedding is. Okay, it's kind of a cute throwback to the 50's, maybe 60's. Apparently it has changed ownership since there is a recent name change, but there has clearly been no attempt to upgrade anything. When I finished this review, it well exceeded 1500 characters, so you might find it on another website, if you're interested.

Check I was quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful as to places to eat in area. Room was clean and quiet. Beautiful view of golf course. Will return.

pictures on web were not of the hotel (resort) LOL we booked. sticky carpet, gray blue with pink rose accents? bedspread was grayish and ripped, snagged all over washed so many times was ready to fall apart! Horrible stay, horrible bed!!!!! was changed to another room. full of smokers' smoke. musty and was said to be updated??? oh no not good.

The place is nice enough and a little secluded, it is clear that it is a bit old though. They are undergoing management change so I would be interested to see if they remodel/redecorate their rooms.

Friendly staff, gorgeous grounds, loved the hot soaking pools and pool was heated! Junior Suite with two queen beds was supposed to have a pull out bed in the sofa but there wasn't one. No big deal but they should change the description. We will be back!

The junior suite was FANTASTIC!! I didn't want to leave! My son wanted to live there forever! The Tuscany decor was so sophisticated and the views of the mountains and trees were so relaxing! We will be back for sure!!

Calling this place a resort is a stretch-probably because it is next to a golf course. Room was utilitarian, tv was an older 21", no dresser just 2 drawer night stands. Heater quite load. Our room was not ready even though we arrived after 3 pm. Won't be returning.

First, the pillows were hard. Second, if you don't like to walk to your room you better talk to them. Even the restaurant is down the hill, nice exercise but I do that at the gym.

We are local to the area and this is the third time we've stayed at this location. Recently purchased by Tuscany Hills Resorts, they haven't had the opportunity to complete renovations. We were personally greeted/welcomed by the local manager. We enjoy the location and environment and will continue to stay here during our “Weekend Getaways”. The staff […] is very friendly and eager to meet all of your requirements. Hot tubs are great to soak in after a hard day at the neighborhood casinos. Overall, I believe once the new owners have the opportunity to complete their renovations (flat screen TV, wall mounted please) it should continue to be an excellent choice for a weekend. I chose this place because it was close to five casinos. I want expecting much but what i found was a piece of heaven. The customer service was something this hotel strived for. Especially because they are renovating it and changed the name of the hotel. I loved the sauna and hot pools that was accessible even at midnight. It is located in the mountains […] and the rooms resemble cottages. I am coming back again for sure. I am from the high desert and enjoy gambling. My first stop was Pechanga then to the hotel, which is 20 min away. Got up and went to Pala, Harrahs and then Valley View which is also 20 min away. The drive was beautiful. Hotel was nice, clean and very comfortable. No problem getting lost with each other in the rooms as they are quiet and large. Hotel is about 10-15 min North of town so dining is a bit of a drive round trip. No high definition TV which is understandable with the layout of a Spa/Golf getaway. No frills, nothing fancy but a clean quiet getaway for a couple. Golfing was great and the Spa was worth the price compared to a drive anywhere else. Pros: Large room, nice bed and bathroom. Cons: terrible stale (old) stench. Furniture and TV very outdated. Would not recommend anyone to stay there!

We were very disapointed with our recent stay at this hotel. The manager seriously needs to understand she is in the hospitality business and must treat guests far more politely and less argumentative. The rooms themselves while spacious were very outdated. The pictures on the ads appear to be taken a decade or two ago. There are no deadbolts on the […] doors and the office closes at 9PM so there is no one watching over the property and it is in a remote area. For heat and air there is only a floor unit wthich did not produce heat the first night and it got done into the 30's. We were miserable and the manager the next morning could care less. Good, quiet hotel if you need to be in extreme North County. It worked for us because we were visiting relatives nearby for holidays. Quiet, lovely setting, room was large and clean.

The only problems we had there was that the pool wasn't heated and the lights where the jucuzzi were didn't turn on til after 8.

My wife and I needed a quick getaway to escape the L.A. fast pace and answered all of our needs. The staff was very nice and the food and entertainment at a restaurant within walking distance exceeded our expectations. Thank you helping us to find great cozy getaway.

The front desk staff at night, so sorry I forgot her name, was genuinely so hospitable and helpful, she really gave the inn a good first-impression! An unpretentious setting and highly accommodating staff, this resort/spa felt like my own personal retreat getaway. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and oversized, cushy chair to relax and watch TV in. I particularly appreciated the outdoor balcony overlooking the golf course while having my morning coffee. The reception area was […] filled with King Ludwig of Bavaria's furnishings and was originally called The Bavarian Spa, I believe.The grounds were meticulous with ponds, soaking pools and spouting fountains which elicited a tranquil state of mind. There is no room service so no disturbing noises from trays was heard. The restaurant above the golf greens was just a short stroll away. In addition, along Gopher Canyon Road were several other restaurants and points of interest for some adventuring.
