TRYP Malaga Guadalmar Hotel - Malaga

We chose this hotel as we were arriving late at Malaga airport and didn't want to drive to far. This hotel certainly fulfilled that requirement but we were so impressed, we were sorry we weren't staying longer. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Nice location on the beachfront. This hotel is nice and clean. Top service. For business travelers it is very noisy. Lot of families having a good time. I asked for the gym, but did never find it due to missing signs. All in all a good stay.

This lovely hotel is luxurious and welcoming. The sound of the sea through the slightly open door was so relaxing.Although on the outskirts of Malaga there is a very convenient bus stop, where you can access the city and surrounding area. The new harbour is a must see-beautifully laid out.

I went here on my own for the weekend, a little pensive. However I had a wonderful stay, the staff were exceptional and the facilitites great. Very close to the airport, but not annoying with sound. would defo stay again.

Nice location, very bad beds, no clean towels if you want to use the pool :o( The Buffe' was not to 4 stars Nice people at the hotel.

This is a great hotel for airport stops. Beautiful views of the Med. If you just want a beach holiday and nothing more then this is it. But if you want some night life then it is a bit remote. I only use it when I have an early morning flight from Malaga. Fantastic breakfasts!

Very reasonable cost. Modern hotel,clean with excellent buffet breakfast, close to airport,but not an "airport hotel" yet only 10 minutes away.

The only problem was if you require food in addition to breakfast.

This hotel is in an excellent location for Malaga Airport. The major problem is the quality of the cooked food. I was the first person in for the evening meal. The food was cold. The hotel needs a revamp. It is such a shame as it is in a great location.

First, DO NOT stay in room 121. The patio door lock is broken and requests to have it fixed or be moved were ignored. A gentleman did come to look at it, said he'd be back...never happened. The prices in the restaurant are decent, however we got out and walked and found a neat little grocery store approximately 10 minutes away for snacks, drinks, and […] sandwiches. Beds are hard, pillows are small and lumpy. Hotel is right on the beach and when we awoke at 3am to prepare for our departing flight, the tourists/locals were still out partying on the beach. Paid a very fair price which probably costs much more during peak seasons. Hotel food was excellent Club Sandwich and Hamburger were fabulous. The only annoying thing (not the hotel's fault) is that laying out by the pool there were hundreds of little flies that land on your entire body and swatting them off does no good. You literally always have at […] least one fly on you. To rememdy this, we walked out the gate and onto the sand by the beach and there were just an occasional fly that landed on us. Perhaps the hotel can figure this out? Their lounge chairs are all on the grass, if they put them on the cement by the pool there likely would at least be less flies. Skaityti daugiau

A very nice hotel right on the beach. We stayed there on our way home from the Costa del Sol. We had a bite to eat at one of the beach cafes, then took a sunset walk along the beach. It was a nice wind-down from the busy week. There was not much to do in that specific area, but the beach was absolutely beautiful. Just returned from a four day trip to Malaga where I stayed at the Tryp Guadalmar. No complaints with the hotel but the surrounding areas leave a lot to be desired. The parking area behind the beach is a gay pick up area with cars cruising all day and night. No mention of this in the hotel was wrong as young boys could wander into this area. Also […] walking through the nudist area of the beach a man was openly masturbating while three or four men stood around watching. I reckon a little effort could make the area less sleazy. I have used this hotel for the last night of my holiday on several occasions. It's just a 10 minute drive to Malaga airport. It's smart, functional, on the beach, but a fair taxi ride into Malaga itself, and to be honest food and drink is slightly on the expensive side.

Vi är kanonnöjda. Stannade bara en natt eftersom vi var på genomresa. Fick uppleva; Mycket stort och fint rum. En fantastisk frukostbuffé. Vacker strandpromenad, som troligen är ännu finare när riktiga solsäsongen startar. Bra bussförbindelser in till centrala Malaga, ca 20 minuter. Som övernattning för tidig avfärd från Malaga Airport helt perfekt.

Bra hotell i lugnt och fint område.Busshållsplats finns precis utanför hotellet, som går direkt in till Malaga om man vill shoppa t ex.Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.Hotellet ligger även nära flygplatsen vilket är bra om man har ett tidigt flyg :)

Dette hotel personale mangler smil når man kommer og man mærker ikke man får nogen service, deres morgenbufet er god og aften bufet god, men den bliver ikke fornyet når der mangler kød eller andet lidt sløv betjening

Fint hotel

Hotellet ligger 3 km från Malagas flygplats (vilket innebär att man hör flygplanen lyfta var 3:e minut), men det går inga bussar el liknande från området där hotellet finns till flygplatsen. En taxi till flygplatsen kostar 20 EUR (nästan samma pris som om man skulle åka taxi från Malagas centrum). Luftkonditioneringsaggregatet står 1 meter från sängen […] på rummet och avger en massa oljud ifrån sig - har aldrig sett något liknande. Det finns ingenting att göra i Guadalmar förutom att bada i havet. Hotellet tar ut rejäla överpriser med tanke på dess standard, läge etc. Stanna i Malaga stad! Skaityti daugiau

Trevligt hotell mycket nära havet med bra bussförbindelser in till staden. Nära till Parador golfklubb en trivsam och utmanande bana. Tyvärr var vädret inte det bästa.

Vi kom sent om aftenen fra lufthavnen så brugte kun hotellet som overnatning, men der var en god morgenbuffet. Vi glemte et stykke overtøj på værelset da vi kørte viddere, men da vi senere på vores rejse kørte på motorvejen få hundrede meter fra hotellet kørte vi ind og et beredvilligt personale fandt jakken, og vi var glade. En god oplevelse.

Et stort hotell med super frokost og stort fint rom med balkong. Korrekt resepsjonist - men kan han smile? Damen i den lille butikken har "alt" man han glemt å ta med seg til turen. Dessuten var hun vennligheten selv. Ansatte i restauranten var meget oppmerksomme og smilende - anbefaler mozarellasalat! Men - sjekk pris på taxi til flyplassen før du […] setter deg inn. The room (304) was cold. The heating didn´t work. It gets coold in tte room when its + 7 outside! The flushing att the toalette was broken. And so on, so on..............

Très bon hôtel, confortable, propre, buffet petit déjeuner très copieux et bon, plage au pied de l'hôtel mais aucune activité autour, ligne de bus au pied de l'hôtel, malaga à 30mn en bus, 15mn en taxi de l'aéroport.
