We were in Ottawa for the Race Weekend and we chose the Residence Inn for it's proximity to the start line on Elgin. Flying in early in the morning from the Maritimes we were tired and were prepared for a noon check in however, the front desk staff gave us a room right away and we were totally grateful. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was good. Everything was very good other than the morning breakfast the hotel provides. Every single table was full of dirty dishes so we had to eat at a dirty table with no sign of anyone cleaning up as people left. Some of the food selections were also empty. Conveniently close to all we wanted to see! Great hotel staff and wonderful complimentary breakfast. Pullout sofa bed not the best though.

I had a great stay at Residence Inn in Ottawa. The continental breakfast was very good and super convenient. The onsite Tim Hortons was also great. I had minimal complications with the free wifi. The staff were all friendly, and our room was clean. The parking situation was not good. Without warning before our arrival we discovered that the hotel's […] parking lot was under construction. They offered 2 suggestions for parking upon check-in, but they were not situated close to the hotel, and one didn't offer in-out privileges. We were not apologized to for the inconvenience, and were offered no compensation for the inconvenience the parking situation provided us with. As most 24 hour parking lots in the vicinity are 24 hours, 5am-5am, or 6am-6am, we were forced to wake up early in the morning and walk to our vehicle to ensure validity of our parking pass so we wouldn't be charged upwards of $70. I could speak of the parking inconvenience for hours, and I would suggest choosing another hotel in the vicinity until the parking lot construction is complete, unless you look into other places to park prior to arrival. Other than this issue, I was quite pleased with my stay and impressed by how close everything is, being able to walk to Parliament, shopping centres and restaurants. Skaityti daugiau

Good Comfy Room.. We were 3 adults and 3 Kids Stay was comfy, They had a Kitchen fully equipped which was a Big bonus. The Breakfast was Good. As they had renovations happening to their underground parking, the parking was 2 blocks away, Aside from that, It was a Good Stay and I would definitely Recommend.

We recently stayed at the Residence Inn for just for one night. We planned on visiting one of the museums in Ottawa. We were very impressed with the hotel and all the amenities. We have 2 kids (9 and 13); and both enjoyed the swimming pool/hot tub. Our older son enjoyed the fitness room. To our delight, upon check in we were upgraded to a spacious suite. […] Bedroom incl. 2 dbl beds; living room and full kitchen. Breakfast was a delicious hot/cold buffet in the lobby which was included with the price of the room. The only minor inconvenience was the parking. The hotel has an agreement with an under ground garage which is 3 blocks away. Wasn't thrilled that construciton was going on at the hotel...would have looked for another location had I known. Would ahve appreciated knowing this before saying yes to a booking. Not clearly marked on their website and believe guests should have been compensated in some way.

The hotel is located in the very Downtown of Ottawa walking distance to everything. The kitchen, washroom, the room and the bedroom were specious and clean.

The hotel experience was fine. I just found the breakfast that was included with our price was absolutely terrible. The next morning we went out for breakfast. The hotel itself was dated and needs some work. The only good thing about the hotel was the location. We were able to walk everywhere.

I enjoyed my stay very much, was a little surprised when I checked in and their was drilling going on in the parking garage, I did question how long it was going to last and was told 5pm, I checked in at 4:30pm, was relieved with the answer.

My stay was very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and nice staff was very pleasant also. The hot breakfast was really convenient and pretty good. i went down to visit my daughter in ottawa u and it was really nice and close.

The hotel was ideally located, just a block away from the winterlude festivities. We could have watched the fireworks from our room! Even if we stayed just one night, the little kitchen was ideal. We brought our own wine... The brunch was included the next morning and the pool hours were longer than in most hotels. There was also a Tim Horton attached […] to the hotel. How convenient! The only issue that we had with our stay was the horrible valet service. A half hour wait was the norm. On one occasion, we waited an hour for our car. Other than the valet service, I have no complaints about this hotel.

We had a wonderful time at the Marriott Residence Inn. We liked that it was central to alot of things such as Rideau Centre, Parliament Buildings and Byward Market. The staff were awesome and called us by name like we were old friends. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will come again for sure.

The hotel was a roomy and comfortable and the service fantastic. All were friendly and accommodating. Our first room had outside noise but were moved immediately The only issue was that the reception desk was on the 4(fourth) floor!. Confusing for check in.

Our stay was really good. The only thing i was a bit disappointed was the breakfast,a little bit more variety would been great and when whe ask front desk howf far a walk was the Mint Museum the didnt know what we were talking about. He should know tourist atraction, but thanks for the little booklets in the room so we found in the map.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The one bedroom suite with two queens and the roll out couch made our family of 5 quite comfy. The breakfast was very good and saved us alot of money over two days as well as the hastle of finding a breakfast place. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel and the pleasant demeanor of the staff. The hotel is a tad old, and our keys lost their coding 3 or 4 times ( we know not to keep them near cell phones or credit cards). Overall, a good experience.
