"A Hotel for Early Morning Airline Travelers"
This was not a luxury hotel, but I wasn't looking for one. I was looking for a clean comfortable hotel where I could spend the night, get a ride to the airport to catch an early plane and leave my car for a few days. I live just far enough that Staying at the Red Roof was not only less expensive, but also gave me nore relaxation and sleep when getting […] to the airport for a 6, 7 or even 8 am flight which means getting up at 3 or 4 am to take what has now become a too expensive blue shuttle that picks you up many hours before your flight so that it can pick up 5 or 6 other people or driving and negotiating the long term parking lot in the dark ofl night. "ok place near bwi"
Main complaint is bed was very uncomfortable and springy. Desk clerk seemed irritated and rushed, i checked in after 1 am due do late flight. Staff upon checkout was much more friendly. Overall what tips it in favor of a non-recommend are uncomfortable bed, and no bath soap, only face soap.
"Overnight stay"
Loved it. Everything was thoughtfully taken care of. Had easy access to free Wi-Fi, many surrounding eateries, gas station and movie theatre were less than 10 minutes away.
"Convenient Location but Nasty"
I booked this hotel for one night and the first room looked as if it had not been cleaned from the last person. Though a new room was given, we felt the need to sleep inour clothes, on top of the bed covers. The only reasons we they stayed is that it was only for one night, we got there late, and weree leaving early the next morning (we were traveling […] w/ a dog and our relatives, in the area, are allergic). The hotel is in a convenient spot for seniors who are leaving at an early hour on a flight out of town and do not want to drive that early in the morning.

"Red Roof near BTL"
Overall a good stay, a small smell in the room. However close to the airport, good service, and shuttle got me to and from airport. Price was right
"All I needed..."
This was a quick late night stay for an early flight in the morning. It served its purpose. All the reviews I read before booking were accurate. The front desk staff very nice. The hotel room very clean. It was just an old hotel that needs up-dating. Not sure about the neighborhood either but certainly close and convenient to the airport. I could of […] left my vehicle at the hotel for $5/day but opted to park in long-term at BWI for $8/day-seemed more safe and secure. Fine for a brief stay in connection with a BWI flight. I'm not sure I'd choose this hotel for a longer stay.

"Ok not great...."
The hotel is very convenient to BWI and the staff was excellent. The front desk clerk was friendly and the shuttle driver was great as well. It's an older hotel so the appointments are dated and my non-smoking room smelled of past smokers. Overall not too bad.

"Nicely updated - great value"
The updating of the hotel as noted in the description was very evident. Contemporary and inviting wall colors, countertops, flooring and bed linens. Everything looked fresh and new. This in addition to the motel offering the best nightly stay prices for lodging close by to BWI.
"BWI area hotel"
Very Convenient to BWI with shuttle available. Minimal amenities, but fine for just a place to sleep before catching an early flight. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. No continental breakfast, but coffee is available 24 hrs. in the front office.

"Close to airport and light rail"
Staff were very attentive. My reservation was in the system with no glitches. The van drivers were willing to take me anywhere in the vicinity of the hotel which was very convenient.

"Not Bad"
Hotel was nice enough. It was clean, beds were comfortable and was convenient to the airport. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room or at least one in the common area (ice, vending machines, etc) and also free internet in the office.

"Convenient and Easily Accessible - BWI Airport"
My husband stayed at the hotel while visiting his sick mother. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and supportive. We would visit again!

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, except for a moth IN the bed. It was convenient to the airport and the shuttle was on time, staff courteous. The main reason people get a hotel, however, is to sleep, which we were unable to do much of because of the noise. Our room was next to the main lobby and people were talking with full volume […] at all hours of the night. Garbage trucks and cars came and went all night. If you want an affordable stay, I may recommmend this hotel, BUT would strongly recommend a room at the far end of the hotel, facing the back of the building. Maybe that location would be more quiet. Very small pillows, old mattress, and very small bathroom. Charged for airport parking even though we paid for the hotel room. Will try to book a room earlier so we never have to return to red roof inn close to BWI airport!

"Adequate for our needs"
Just needed a room to sleep in prior to our trip out of BWI. Drove in late, checked in at midnight and out by 8:30am. Great price relative to surrounding hotels and equally as nice. VERY close to BWI and all the parking lots. Hotel room was very clean and had nearly brand new furniture and counters in it. Only negative was the air conditioner, which […] was tough to regulate... was either freezing cold or completely off, which was not good on a very humid night. The hotel was dirty and the smell at the elevator was horrible. The sheets on the bed were old and worn with age. I box-spring on the bed was exposed. The toilet seat was dirty and the general sanitary and hygiene was deplorable.

If your looking for a clean place to stay near the airport that has a shuttle this is your place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle even took us to a great restaurant and picked us up afterwards. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone.

This was my 4th stay at the BWI Red Roof Inn. There are normally 2 people working the front desk. This time there was only 1. That caused a line of about 7 people and about 45 minutes just standing around waiting for the 1 person to check people in and answer the phone all by herself. Then, when it was my turn, she was understandably less than pleasant. […] The room was fine, again, but nothing great. This is a motel, people. Go in with the expectation that you're going to get old-motel-style service and quality and you'll be fine. Though this time I wish I paid twice as much for a better place nearby. Park & Fly and slightly unreliable airport shuttle available. The deluxe room is the same as the standard, plus a mini-fridge and microwave. You get what you pay for.
