Huntsville Hotel & Suites - Hantsvilis

It was fairly nice, and the staff was wonderful. We got surrounded by a biker club, but that's not the hotel's fault. It's a bit dated, and there was some damage, but it was clean and safe. The Neighborhood wasn't great, but there was a fence and it was close to food and drugstores.

It was like staying in an apartment. It had a full kitchen with full fridge, stove, dishwasher and sink. It also had a couch and a fireplace and a nice size bathroom. The grounds had received some award for being well kept. The office was nicely maintained with a nice size pool. It could've been a little cleaner. (there was a few spots on the floor, […] but I did stay in the smoking room), but it wasn't too bad. I was pleasantly surprised with the place. I would stay there again and would recommend to a friend. The area looked like a decent area. Sometimes the cleanliness of the rooms vary, but if you make the staff aware they will accommodate accordingly. The price can't be beat for the size of the room/suite and amenities.

Old property, seem to be converted apartments. Very roomy and close to all sights etc. Breakfast was poor, but for the price expect no more. Overall clean and OK for 1 night stopover.

Very run down, bad neighborhood. Look like low income apartments. Shouldn't be called a hotel. Surprised Hotels.com had this on their website.

This was the grimiest hotel I have ever stayed in. This place needs a thorough cleaning. It also needs better signage to identify room locations and the office.

This hotel was the perfect hotel, everything about it was great from the location to the hotel it's self, I felt so at home in this hotel with the full kitchen and the nice big shower

Place looks great from the parking lot. Staff was friendly and efficient. Entryway to the room was dirty and littered. A plunger sat outside, partially covered in a shopping bag. Room had a "musty" odor. Will not stay there again.

You get what you pay for and this was an older property, but it was clean and for the price, I'd stay again.

The motel is converted from an apartment complex and as such makes the rooms VERY large. Full kitchen, separate bath/dressing room area, closet space, living room, bed room. Very nice. It's an older facility and the age is showing with some rotted wood trim etc. This is the first motel I've ever stayed in that did not make the bed, vacuum, etc. on a […] daily basis. You could have the service for $25/day. They had trash pick up and linen swap only. I can make my own bed, and I'm not a messy person, but after 3 days, it would have been nice to have the room vacuumed and clean sheets. The employees were nice. The studio style room was clean and nice. The carpeting was a bit old, but overall good. We did run out of hot water after one shower, there were two of us in the room, so one of us had to wait.

I surprised by how spacious my one queen sized bed suite was. There was a full kitchen area, a couch and coffee table, a TV, lots of closet space and a large dresser with ample drawer space. The vanity had a lot of counter top space and mirror that covered the whole wall. The toilet/shower space was a little small but it was okay. The bed was very comfortable […] and the internet connection was great. My only issue with this place was the towels. The towels were old, dingy, and many of them had stains. I had to go out and buy my own wash clothes because there was no way I was using those towels on myself. They should invest in new towels and a better method for washing them. Overall, this wasn't the worst place ever. The room just was not clean. Cobwebs and dirt in corners and just an overall feeling that the room had not been used prior to our arrival. We had no soap or cups which you usually expect to be waiting in your bathroom. The hot water lasted about 5 minutes during a shower then went dead cold. Since our arrival […] was later in the evening and we were just wanting a place to sleep, this was good enough considering the price we paid. Howeve it is very true, you get what you pay for. Hotel was ok. Old and needed to be updated. Could have been cleaner. We chose the ground floor so we would not have to carry every thing up the steps. Person in room above us got up at 5:30 each morning and walked across the floor like they were mad at the world. Heard every step until they left. So glad I found this place! Such a nice stay for the price. These are apartments that were converted into apartments, so we had lots of room. Friendly staff, plus a wonderful hot breakfast too! Definitely staying here again!!!

Stopped here bc it was cheapest, closest place to Jack Daniels Distillery. You get what you pay for, but it wasn't horrible. Room smelled weird, but it seemed decently clean, and no signs of bugs/rodents. Not bad as a one nighter.

It would be so beautiful to have an employee cleaning the front of room which is full of cigarette tubs and other dirt. The carpet is definitely worn-out. Can there be fruit included for breakfast, even, if it is only one type. No doubt, I will still use the Hotel more and more.

All I needed was a bed, TV, toilet, & shower. No complaints for the 6 hours that were actually spent in the room, er, SMALL APARTMENT, after working a late night then early job. We were very pleased with our stay here. The hotel staff was really kind and helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Having a small kitchen was extremely helpful to us. The location of the hotel was good - close to all the places we wanted to see, like the Cathedral Caverns, Space and Rocket Museum and the Veterans Memorial Museum. […] The only thing I personally didn't like too much was the bed itself... it wasn't that great for my back. Hotel staff was nice and accomodating. Room was clean. In room amenities were lacking (soap, shampoo, etc.), but may have been available on request (did not ask). Short drive to downtown.

We were very disappointed with the Hotel. The room was dirty, had not been vacuumed properly and the louvered door over the AC unit was covered in a deep layer of dust. To finish it off, the person above us stayed up all night bouncing around on the floor so we got very little sleep. We had stayed in this hotel before but will never stay again.
