Our stay here was fantastic to say the least. Right down in the heart of the city close to the metro so was easy to get to other places like Arlington and Pentagon City. Alot going on around Hotel Chinatown was right behind Hotel so having a place to eat was easy. Amenities were great - Breakfast plentiful and after a full day of sightseeing they greeted […] us with wine and a plate of food. My bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was very good and I wil definitely book this hotel again.

Great hotel, close to attractions, convenient to Metro and Amtrak. Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean.

Every person on the staff was gracious, warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. The hotel was so close to all points of interest. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very nice. It's located walking distance from a ton of resturants and shopping places. The verzion center is very close. We were able to walk to the national mall and all the museums. The front desk was very helpful and able to give discount gift cards to numerous restaurants. Don't expect your typical holiday inn room. This hotel is perfect for anyone visiting Ford's Theatre. The theatre is just around the corner. There are many other museums and activities within a short walk. Washington's monuments, etc. are a short cab or metro ride away. There are numerous restaurants in the area as well. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We were able to stow […] our bags at the hotel prior to check in and after check out. In particular, one staff member noticed a number of us standing on the third floor awaiting the elevators, he called down and had the service elevator brought up to help move us along. the hotel was substandered the breafast food awful taste frozen the we were given was next to an ice machine so listening to thaat why your trying to sleep experience just was not good

The staff were amazingly nice! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!! It is two blocks from the Verizon center and one block away from the American art Smithsonian which we loved!!

Room was nice, bathroom was very small/tight fit in shower/toilet area. Staff very friendly, market in lobby had lots of food choices and very reasonable prices, in great area with lots of restaurants. Gordon Biersch is connected to hotel lobby, which was very convenient. Spy Museum and National Portrait Gallery right across street, Metro 2 blocks away. […] Verizon Center couple of blocks away. Main issue was with Internet. Free but not working and I really needed access to it for critical work. It worked wirelessly in room for a brief time, then didn't work at all and wired connection through Ethernet cable didn't work either. So I had to go to business center in the middle of the night, which is one floor below main lobby where majority of lights were turned off. Very odd setup. This hotel is across the street from a popular club. At midnight when I arrived the street was noisy and the security guard outside the door had his watchful eye on everything. Valet costs the same as self parking so you might as well take advantage of that. The hallways were tiny, my room was small but comfortable. I normally travel with my wife and […] infant son. The staff was excellent. Had a little hiccup with the wireless access, but they were all over helping me fix it and it didn't feel like an inconvenience at all. Hotel was in a great location. There is a Metro station a few hundered feet from the front door. It is within walking distance of the White House, Washington and Lincoln Monuments, Vietnam, Korea, and WWII Memorials, and multiple Smithsonian Museums. While the hotel is showing some aging and wear and tear, everything else was fine. I spent two nights there with my teenage daughter to show her some sites and I was satisfied. Getting around was easy as the hotel is close to the metro station (about a 2 minute walk). So I parked outside the city and was able to leave the car behind and just use the […] metro. The bistro in the basement had breakfast and buying the 10 voucher at the front desk turned out to be a good deal. The building felt secure and the surrounding area safe. walk to museums and nat'l mall, the Gordon Biersch restaurant attached to hotel attentively serves flavorful food and beer. the breakfast offered by the hotel is fine, but they should come up a better delivery system (buffet?). everyone from the valet to the front desk was friendly and helpful. would not hesitate to stay again.

Though facilities are a bit small it is very convenient to all tours sights. Rooms are clean and well maintained though they are more for resting than for hanging around.

This hotel is excellently located, about a 15 minute walk to the attractions of the Mall. The rooms are modern and well furnished, and clean. The bathroom is on the smaller side but manageable. The staff are courteous. The hotel offers valet parking, which is great. Parking is both a pain and expensive in DC, especially for visitors who are not familiar […] with the city. Consider leaving your vehicle in valet parking at the hotel and taking a cab to your general destination area and then back to the hotel at the end of the day. This approach is particularly useful if your destination is not far from the hotel - and most of the popular DC destinations are indeed not far off. There is a metro stop near the hotel as well. This will be our 'go to' hotel in Washington. Located in a converted bank building (Riggs Bank) about 2 minutes from the Gallery Place/9th St. subway stop. Good neighborhood, nice shops. Great rooms, quiet. Nothing bad about this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Washington, DC. We were especially impressed with the fine service of the front desk staff as well as the staff who took care of valet parking. All were friendly and courteous.

this was our second time at this hotel and we just love it. we are already planning for next year. we do the museum and the phillies games for a nice weekend. we can walk to everything including the metro.

We had a good stay for the 4th of July and the valet service guys were phenomenal. Thanks guys. You really helped with an easy check in and check out.

Only major complaint was bell service: At check in, we finally retrieved our luggage from the lobby after waiting 30 minutes. At check out, the bell captain tied up our bell server in friendly conversation for 10 to 15 minutes while we were trying to get on the road.

Great location, very close to everything you want to see in DC. Hotel was clean and people were very friendly. I would strongly recommend it. Even have good cardio equipment if you want to work out.

Spent 3 nights here over a June weekend seeing the Washington sights. The hotel was perfectly placed just a few blocks north of the Mall, making most the major sights and museums at most a 15 min walk away. The only thing I would like to reproach is that an alarm had been set prior to my arrival, and had not been deactivated, so it woke me up at 6:00 am for no reason.

Toilet was not working properly. Also, Buffet on the weekends are way overpriced. You can go to 5 different places right around the hotel so dont do it. GREAT LOCATION.

Everyone at the hotel were great. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to most of the museums. The valets even held our bags in a locked storage closest after checkout so we wouldn't have to pay for parking elsewhere

We enjoyed the stay. The room was surprising spacious for a room in DC at the price. It was very close to our destination and close to the mall. I would recommend this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the location and for that it did not disappoint. It is close to everything. It is just a block walk to the Metro. It is only about 1/2 mile walk to the Mall. Lots of restaurants nearby. As for the hotel itself, it is kind of sterile. Clearly, it is for the business traveler so I didn't lower my rating because of that. […] It is very clean and seems to have been recently renovated. The room was small, but it has a nice desk and TV with some decent channels. It is also very clean. The bed was comfortable too. And the "pool". It is in the basement, it is very small, and the water was cold. The attached whirlpool/hot tub was nice however. Overall, I would definitely come back here again and would recommend it as a jumping-off point for tourists looking to be close to the attractions. I had a major issue with the hotel security team and their supervisor. The MOD was made aware of the issue of not being able to have access to my room due to some unlicensed security guards restricting my entrance.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean and close to all the attractions. The only thing that bummed us out was we were so looking forward to sitting in the hot tub after a long day of walking around the Mall, and it wasn't working.

Great location. Classic hotel. Also nearby American Art Museum, Spy Museum, great restaurants and shopping.

The location of this hotel is excellent, within walking distance of bus tours and some of the sights. The staff were extremely friendly and there was no problem storing luggage when we arrived early. The room was lovely and clean and big enough for two. The valet service was excellent, although expensive. A highly recommended hotel.
