If you miss the exit from I64 merge with I81, beware of the GPS directions to the hotel. It took me to a dirt road in the middle of the night. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable (first time I have woken without a backache), the front desk people were super nice and accommodating, and the location was perfect.

Clean, reasonably priced rooms. Small but good exercise room. Excellent service. Will stay here at when I visit Staunton.

This motel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the price was right. There was also a very basic breakfast and coffee ready in the morning. It was located just off I-81 which was very convenient, but it was far enough off the road that noise was not an issue. It wasn't high luxury, but it served our needs well.

Off the beaten path, close to the interstate but had a back-in-the-country feel. Nice and quiet, just what we wanted. I'll book here again if I'm in the area.

Nice view of a large farm if you get a room on the top floor in the back. Clean, large room. Hester was noisy, refrigerator stopped a loud hum after we unplugged it. Not much of a continental breakfast and they remove what little they have at 9:00 a.m.

I understand this was not a Marriott, but ugh! You should include the date the hotel was built. It has been my experience that newer hotels are more desirable.

Nice people. Very clean and large king room. Stayed top floor in the back which is recommended. Has a large farm behind it and very quiet. Will stay again. Great location, near about everything in the Shenandoah Valley.

Hotel was over priced for what it was. Older hotel outdoor corridoors. The room was clean but dated. Breakfast usual fare not a great choice. Ok if you just need to get off of the Interstate, but not worth the price.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The view is beautiful and the surrounding neighborhood is so much fun to take a morning run in! The hotel employees were very nice!

The room was ok for our overnight on our trip The continental breakfast is a 1 at best, weak coffee and a poor breakfast selection. I will try someplace else next time

The hotel was very nice, the check-in people super accommodating and the room was very nice. The downside was that the wifi was out for our entire stay. That was a very big inconvenience for us.

Overall facilities look not quite up to date. A bit far from center of city, access road almost look abandoned and unrecognizable.

Room was very neat, clean, and relaxing. The location is not the most convienent but good signage to get there. We would stop again.

Basic motel room. Good for overnight stay. Nothing fancy. Bed was extremely comfortable-lots of support. Pool was enjoyable. No restaurant on site. Location is kind of out of the way. Sits on a hill with nothing around it. Rooms have outside entrances and there is no elevator.

We spent one night as a stopover on a long road trip. It is fine for that purpose, not really a "destination hotel." Very affordable, two minutes off the interstate and quiet when we stayed there. Breakfast is adequate. The bed mattress is on the hard side, but we didn't have any trouble sleeping on it.

The motel had just got their power on minutes before because of some bad storms they'd had in the region. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a bit older but overall was fine.

Needed our family to get away from heat when Derecho cut off our power. We were able to get 3 rooms. We were happy to have a pool and cool room, however in one of our rooms the AC did not cool properly, still better than no AC at all. The carpet was dirty on my feet, it felt oily. Was expecting a little more than the rustic and old furnishings and amenities that were provided. The photos are a little decieving, making the place look a lot nicer and up to date than they really are. All-be-it, we arrived after a major storm raced through the area, and a lot of locals without power were looking for a cheap place to stay that had […] power and running water... the front desk was alittle overwhelmed (one person available to book and take reservations... even though the manager was two feet away looking at his computer he did not get up to offer to help the back-up of customers waiting in the lobby). We did not eat the 'continental breakfast... choose to go to a McDonalds or other fast food breakfast stops, as the hotel doesnt offer much in the way of a breakfast. Towels are thin and need replacing. the bed was comfortable and oom was average clean... only one big daddy long-legs found crawling accross the faded and in need of a deep cleaning carpet. I would only recommend this as a last resort place to stay and for one night only. Try something else if you plan to stay for longer. Staunton, the town, was a lot nicer than thought and we ate a nice meal at the Old Grist Mill. A little on the higher than average price range, but very good food and friendly service. The hotel is worn out. Rooms are as clean as possible for a building that is badly in need of a redo. It is well off the highway which may delight some folks, but it has a long way to go before it is even 2 stars. I would never consider returning to this spot at any price. Robe hook in bathroom missing a screw causing it to hang down on one side. Overflow drain holes of bathroom sink needed cleaning. The toilet paper would be non-existent if it were any thinner. Checked in at midnight. Had to yell back and forth thru front door as clerk had it locked. and it was cold out. Had to pass credentials, credit card and paperwork back and forth thru hole in glass. Made me feel as if it was not a very safe place. The room was clean. Next morning front desk staff harassed me about having a dog telling me I was issued […] a handicapped room where no dogs were aloud. We have stayed in this hotel before and it was fine. This time we had some problems. I found urine on on my bed and the hotel manager was extremely rude. He tried to blame the urine on our pet when clearly it was an old stain imbedded into the mattress and then tried to charge us for it. We ended up so frustrated that we checked out early and went to […] the Holiday Inn across the street. That was much better. We were very disappointed with the customer service. I was in Staunton 3 days for a family funeral. This hotel was on the top of a hill - perfect view of the Blue Ridge Mountains - yet close to Staunton for all events I needed to attend. The hotel was not my favorite but it's pretty much all you can expect for the area it is in. It is motel-style (which I wasn't aware of before my visit). The staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs. The rooms were clean. Don't expect an actual 'gym' as advertised on the website - it is 3 peices of exercise equipment.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable and the towels were terrible- so rough! It was quiet and easy on/off from Rt 81. Breakfast should go a bit longer than 9:30.

I would have given this hotel a 4 star rating, however the greeting and overall rudeness of the person checkign me in was enough to make this be a 3 star rating. The scenery from the room is beautiful. Room very clean, very big. Too bad the desk clerk was very rude.

The only problem we encountered was that the remote control needed batteries!! Beds clean and comfy. Nice curved shower curtain rod made it big enough for two! In room coffee and fridge! No restaurants in the vicinity, so continental breakfast in lobby a nice touch. Pets welcome, too!

Stopped on the way through, heading further south. Booked 2 connecting rooms. Very satisfied with both rooms. Bed was a little small for 2 adults, but okay for the night. Continental breakfast was good. Would definately stay again. Patty - New York
