La Quinta Inn and Suites Portland Airport - Portlandas

It was awesome. The best stay in Portland ever. Staff Hospitality was great. No long waiting period, Got room in less than 15 minutes after standing 3rd in line. We liked the comfort of the room and breakfast was very good too.

Great overnight stay. Very convenient to airport. Jon on the front desk was very helpful. Told us where the gas station was to top off our rental car and helped us with our boarding passes. The hot breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from - much better than most continentals. In all, we'd definitely stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pillow top beds are very comfortable. We also enjoyed having the complimentary breakfast. My family enjoyed staying at La Quinta and we will be back.

I've stayed in an amazing La Quinta, but this one was just so-so. I slept fine, the room was rather small but all was in its place, and the breakfast worked as it should have. It served its purpose and didn't try to be special. It's an airport hotel.

This is our second time staying at this hotel and we will definitely be using it again the next time we are in Portland. The 24 hour shuttle is a great service and always staffed by very friendly people. It's incredibly convenient to get a shuttle to/from the airport and also to/from the nearest MAX station so you can get into the city. The staff at […] the hotel itself has always been very friendly. Breakfast in the morning is the normal hotel fare, which is adequate for a free meal. The rooms themselves are overall good. We stayed two nights a week apart (bookending our trip for the flight to and from Portland). The first room was very nice: new, comfortable, and clean. The second room was still good but needed a little remodeling to make it truly superb. It was still clean and comfortable but things seemed a little old and worn. Not a big deal at all but not what I would call 'perfect'. We still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for someplace near the airport that would like to travel in and out of the city. It's near the airport so it is easy to get settled when you arrive and easy to make your flight when you leave and it is close to a MAX rail station for a nice, cheap trip into the city proper. great location, close to the airport and the main roads. Great service to and from the airport, and the breakfast starts very early so if you have an early flight you can probably still grab something to eat.

After spending a week in 4 different Portland hotels (price range $100-$150), this La Quinta hotel had the best breakfast options. Rooms were clean and attractive. Spacious and clean bathrooms.

More than adequate, reasonably-priced and clean. The hotel was quick to accommodate my little allergy-prone grandchild and booked our large family group near one another. Much appreciated.

The hotel was pleasant and the service generally good. Only a few points to make: 1) Flooded toilet by pool was out of service for hours; 2) Breakfast room was hectic, small and understaffed; 3) Volume control in one of our rooms was never fixed despite repeated requests 4) Laundry room was inadequate for this particular location/clientele.

This was a pretty new property. Rooms in good condition, nice pool, hot tub and workout room. The breakfast area is a bit cramped, but overall good spot to stay.

I wish the hotel room could of been a little bit larger surprise it was so small but comfortable. I wish the hotel would of said the distance from the airport compared to other hotels as I would of stayed closer due to the shuttle bus had other stops alone the way to airport. Overall, the hotel was very nice for the price.

Its convenient location, close to the Portland Airport, is a definite plus. And the soundproofing is good; you don't hear the roar of jet engines overhead unless you go outside. The included breakfast is okay, but I've had better ones at other hotels, and the dining room (which starts serving at 4:00 am--wow!) is completely filled between about 8:00 […] and 9:30 am. The person that checked me in was incredibly helpful and pleasant. She even moved her vehicle to the street so I would have a place to park, since the parking lot was completely full. Also, access to and from the Portland Airport is very convenient and easy.

Breakfast was superb. Spa and pool were okay but there's no place to shower before one gets into the pool. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. One of our best hotels so far and it is Pet friendly!

Overall, the stay was fine but for the banging doors all hours of the night and the frigid pool temperature. The hotel smelled like a pet hotel. If you are a pet lover it's fine. If you do not have animals I would not recommend a stay at this hotel. The first room provided smelled like dog. We were moved to a floor free from pets and it was acceptable.

Over all one of the best hotels we have stayed at that allowed dogs. Rooms were on the smaller side compared to other La Quintas. The comforter had a discoloration but we told the front desk and the whole bed was remade with new linens quickly. Breakfast was surprisingly good in quality and selection. If you pay attention you can hear the airplanes […] landing at the airport but it was never an interruption. I think I our dog was a bigger disturbance! Shuttle drivers were extremely cordial and helpful. Motel was comfortable and clean. We did not have any noise issues with the airport being in close proximity.

Great spot right by the airport and with easy access to freeways. Had a good continental breakfast and nice amenities for a La Quinta!

Excellent location for early morning departure from PDX, with complementary shuttle. Despite being on the airport flight path and near major highways, noise was not a problem. Good complementary breakfasy with very early start time (04.30).

Seems as of the vacuums at this hotel do not quite reach to the edge of the carpet against the wall. About 1" of dust all around the edge of the carpet and up the carpeted baseboard.

Good Shuttle service and good rates. The pool was nice not heavy with massive amounts of chlorine and the hot tub was nice. They had a crib ready when we arrived for are daughter. Room was clean and had lots of pillows. The breakfast was a vast improvement over a lot of the motels i have stayed in the past.
