I enjoyed the location due to surrounding businesses and symphony center located on Pearl St. I also left early to return home, Austin, Tx and felt location of hotel was a plus due to IH35 accessibility.

almost perfect in every way but the bathroom was extremely small i thought for a room with 2 beds. this might be because it has been here a very long time. i have stayed at another doubletree and the bath was much bigger. perfect location if you are going to the american airlines center for a concert as we did for they have a free shuttle to there. […] but we had to wait awhile for him as the hotel has him doing double duty carrying luggage to rooms! have to take a taxi back but, as the time we went,4-11-2013, it was only $13 with tip. would have given 5 stars all the way but for the small bath. and they give free cookies when you get there and when you leave too if you stop by the desk on the way out and thank them for your stay. the cookies are chocolate chip with nuts and they were very good. The room was fine. The room service was very good. If you are looking for a hotel with cheerful, helpful, employees this is not the place. The girl behind the counter was cold and rude, and in one instance watched as an older woman jumped into line in front of me and just brushed me off as if it never happened. In fact, I could feel that she basically […] didn't want to deal with people at all. DoubleTree really needs to work on their guest service because they are very unfriendly. Great experience! Just didn't know you had to purchase continental breakfast with booking the hotel. I thought it came automatically. It had a restaurant and a bar which was nice. Conveniently located close to the Dart which we used to get to the Color Run at Fair Park! Will stay there again!

Loved the stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. I liked the location in market center. It was easy to find. Only down side was they only had two elevators and you had to stand there And wait a while. But on my trips back to Dallas i would choose this hotel again.

I was surprised and disappointed in the representation of this hotel being four star. I stay quite often in Dallas and have not experienced this quality in a hotel, again, with four star expectations. Location is exceptional and staff seemed kind.

We went to the wrong location it was another one of your Double Tree locations near Love Field. The lady at the front desk was not nice at all. She was rood to us when we were checking in. She said you have no reservations here. So then I said do you have anything available she said no we don't. No sorry or nothing then we said well where is the location […] of the one we booked. She gave us the wrong address making us later and more difficul to drive due to being rush hour traffic. We finally got to the right one which was by the American Airlines hockey stadium. It was my birthday present to go to the Stars game against Minnesota. We got well received at that location Double Tree. But it started out real bad but ended pretty great thank you. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazingly helpful and attentive. Only complaints; Bathrooms are a little small, and my hair dryer didn't work in the room, but they promptly replaced it when I told them. Will stay there again on future trips to Dallas.

This motel is not as close to American Airlines Center as advertised, definately not walking distance. Stayed in a double "queen", no way those were queen size beds. Will not stay here again.

My husband and I have stayed at DoubleTree hotels before, and were very satisfied, so it was the natural choice for our weekend getaway. The hotel was everything that we expected. The free parking and convenient location was especially nice for being downtown. The only complaint that I have is that we heard EVERYTHING from the two rooms on either side […] of us. The first night one room was extremely loud until about 3 in the morning. Management offered to move us to another room, but we figured the odds of it happening again we slim. Ha. The second night the room on the other side through a party . It was not a very restful stay to say the least. But hotel management and security handled both issues promptly and professionally. Hotel wasn't bad, but not great, either. Standard room is very small, and bathroom is much smaller than our own home. I would say, you get what you pay for, but comparing to other hotels, we felt it was kind of overpriced.

My husband and I booked this hotel for 3 nights but ended up going somewhere else the last night. The rooms were so small, we really had no space to put our things and spread out. I've seen dorm rooms bigger. And when I went to tell the front desk we were checking out early, no one really seemed to care, they looked at me like I was crazy and never […] even asked how my stay was. Great hotel with an even better staff. Very accommodating and willing to go above and beyond to make the guest happy. The restaurant is tasty and the servers are very friendly too. The bartender was a little slow but it was crowded the night I was there so that's understandable. The room was spotless and very clean. This was a romantic getaway from Kansas City to Dallas, and to escape to warmer weather for a few days (80's compared to 30's). Parking was bad, underground garage was just being used as storage space. Neighborhood was a little seedy, but rooms were nice and service was great.

I'd like to give this hotel a perfect score; it was really very nice. But, the shower was a problem. The water temperature had to be frequently readjusted as it would turn hotter or colder during the shower. In all fairness, we did not alert the hotel about the problem because we did not become aware of it until just before bedtime, and we were leaving […] the next morning; so, I cannot say how the staff would have responded. The room was like a supped up super 8 motel. Shuttle was always full guest services where nice. BUT in total I would not spend 150 to stay this is more of a 100 per night hotel.

room was very average. Toilet hardware had many issues. Shower faucet was very hard to use - shower head was leaking. In room heater was very noisy as was in room fridge. It was a great hotel. Very comfy beds and pillows..what I've come to expect from the Hilton brand. It didn't take more than 20 minutes to get any where we wanted to go. Not a single thing I can say bad about this place.
