Great hotel if you don't care about a view or being close to town. The shuttle the hotel provides eats a lot of time as it only runs on the hour. Also, the hotel is surrounded by condos.

First visited this hotel in April, 2012 for a girls' getaway. Liked it do much I returned with my hubby in May, 2013. Saw the same, friendly staff again and enjoyed the great pool and free shuttle service downtown, to Smathers Beach, and the airport again. Good food on location, as well.

Everything was fabulous, but the shuttle service needs to pick up & drop off more often. I waited for an hour and had to stand on the bus because there were no seats and everyone else was waiting too. other than that, it was a perfect vacation!!!!!

Nice hotel, homey, great pool, beautiful and clean room, amazing breakfast, very good service at front desk. I will go back on next trip! Things they need to improve, more maintainance to the pool. But overall, RECOMMENDED!

The hotel is not in the downtown area in key west. However, it is very close to the airport, around 5mins drive. The hotel has complimentary shuttle services to take us to downtown every 30 mins or 1 hour to three spots in key west downtown, which is enough and convenient.

Room was right above the laundry room which sounded light a jet plane ready for take off well into the night. View out the window was lovely if you like looking at a wall, roof and cigarette butts. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

A beautiful resort. The surroundings were breath-taking and the staff and service were excellent! The location is not very close to Mallory Square but there was a shuttle to take you. We didn't use it since we wanted to use our own transportation but the roads were easy to navigate especially with the map provided by the hotel. The bathroom drain in the bathtub was not maintained, the water did not exit down the drain very well. Also, the night light on our terrace needed changed. The bulb must have blown out. The air conditioner was loud and keep you up at night. We had asked for a smoking room when we made the reservation but we did not get one. A bit away from Duval Street + we got a room next to a washing machine that was making a lot of noise. Otherwise it was a very nice stay - great heated pool, pretty good breakfast (not the best i´ve seen but good) - large room, great service

Not close to Duval Street, it will be a $20 cab ride to downtown Key West.. But overall the Hotel is very nice, and the staff is great. They do have a Shuttle that takes you around every 30 minutes. So this was convenient.

My daughter and myself just returned from a 5 day stay here. We chose to include the breakfast buffet and there was enough variety to keep us happy for our morning meal. The hotel is very clean & pretty. Not over the top, but just right. The beds were very comfortable and the room was plenty spacious. You can control the heat/air and the shower water […] was perfect. Those are the important things that I look for. Also, the staff was great in every way. They have complimentary shuttles to/from the airport and also to the beach or town every hour. Very nice stay at property that offers nice Keys experience. Nice pool area and bar, shuttle to downtown therefore no parking hassles, very comfortable room. Away from the downtown wildness but with shuttle very accessible. Will come back

First impression, nicely landscaped, clean. Pool nice, but not enough lounge chairs for people. First night we checked in (my wife and I), they gave us room 479., a handicapped room near all the a/c units rumbling on the other side of the wall where the bed is located. Rumbled through our heads enough to give you a headache and no sleep. We called the […] front desk that evening, they said to call back in the morning to switch rooms, in which we did and gave us a different room and a free breakfast for the inconvenience. The 2nd room was much quieter and we were much happier. If you stay here beware of room 479. Otherwise have a great time, they have a free shuttle to Deval St, where all the action is, this hotel charges 11 bucks a day to park your car there. Which we have never had to do before. Good place for a couple days, near Smather's Beach. Probably would stay there again., we had stayed at the Hyatt Pointe 2 years ago which we found quite a bit nicer. Skaityti daugiau

When I return to Key West, I will stay here again. The convenience of the shuttle service to key points was a great amenity. Breakfast was wonderful, but do go early! We noted a crowd after we left and were glad that we didn't have to wait in line. Great value!

This hotel was a true resort. It was out of the most congested area of key west. The pool, bar, food and service were great. The hotel shuttle took you downtown and picked you up on a prompt schedule. When a shuttle was full, the staff quickly got a second shuttle on line. This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The bed was very comfortable. the workout room was great- a little small if there was more than 4 or 5 people {normally it wasn't} but had treadmill, elliptical,small bike, dumbbells, medicine & stability balls & a weight machine. I thought the location was great. Away from the […] hustle & bustle of Duvall St but not to far. The shuttle would take you to a few places, so that was convenient. If you eat at the hotel.....food was great & the portions humongous. The best thing was their own homemade chocolate chip cookies they will give you daily if you want . Even when we went to checkout, the lady at the front desk gave us a nice bag with quite a few cookies & a few bottles of water because we told her we were going to miss the cookies. The five days my husband and I spent at the DoubleTree were great, we could not ask for a better hotel for a long weekend getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was very nice and had a great selection. We would recommend this hotel to friends.

Welcomed with the famous double tree cookies! Yummy! Front desk staff Joseph was very very good - friendly and professional! Room is clean. Bed is firm and big. Pool area is nice, plenty loungers and towels.

Our family of five stayed in two rooms for New Years 2013. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of a Doubletree. First of all, the front desk gives away warm cookies at check-in! We had trouble finding a bellhop at the door and ended up carrying our luggage up the steps and onto a cart by ourselves. While not elegant or recently updated, the […] rooms were comfortable in a casual way and clean. They provide a free shuttle to both ends of Duval Street, which is only 5 minutes away. The front desk neglected to tell us that the locations and times of pick up would be changed due to the holiday, but they sent us a complimentary taxi when we missed it by two minutes after sprinting across the island. Actually, running for the bus turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The food was much better than expected and pool is very nice and well-maintained. The property is also close to the most active beach on the island. This is perhaps the best property for families who are looking for activities other than partying on Duval. Skaityti daugiau

They check in our room to another family with the same last name by mistake and took long time to fix it. The manager did not even apology. The room was comfortable and my kids loved the pool area. The breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The location of hotel is not very convenient. It's away from the town where of most activities are at […] evening. They have buses run to town every hour, so you need to time yourself to catch the bus. It's still a long walk to the closest beach, if you have a car, it only takes few minutes there and parking is free. The best of this hotel is that they gives out those cookies and it was SO GOOD! I checked in after participating in The SmartRide (a 165 mile bike ride from Miami to Key West to raise awareness and funding for HIV/AIDS). Needless to say I was exhausted! All I wanted was a comfortable bed and good food .... both of which I got! The hot tub was also great, the shower was wonderful and the warm cookie upon arrival was a welcoming […] touch!
