Good. It's in a very nice location, however, the outside appearance could be improved. Especially, the entrance canopy refurbished to give it an overall good look and the stairway, kept cleaner. Room smelled of strong smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Free breakfast wasn't served until 8:30, long after we had to check out to attend a meeting. We couldn't check out as scheduled, as no one was at the desk (lobby locked up) at 8 when they were scheduled to open. Great location. Inexpensive. But the quality was seriously lacking. I wouldn't stay there again. Our heater didn't work, the window curtain was broken, no blow dryer, the bathroom door got stuck every time we closed it (I actually had to force it open once so my girlfriend could get out).

I loved the location of this hotel. Right on the water and close to all historical sights. Perfect place to be for the annual thanksgiving day parade.

It was fine for what it was. Rooms are on outside hallway. Heating system is either ON or off, so ended up waking up in night sweating. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

The hotel was conveniently located for all amenities. The room was large and clean. Unfortunately on the second day we came back from being out all day and ort room had not been cleaned and the dirty towels were still in the bath. Despite phoning reception, who said they would delivery clean towers, I evenually had to go downstairs and collect them […] myself. Not a word of apology. The bathroom was in disrepair. The toilet would barely flush. Unable to control water temperature in shower. Became too hot then too cold. Floor tiles around toilet were missing and the shower tiles were moldy.

A decent hotel with a very good receptionist. But no coffee maker in our room and they could not provide one. Excellent location for historic Plymouth.

THE HOTEL IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACTION WHICH IS GOOD. MORE ATTENTION SHOULD BE PAIDTO MAINTENANCE BUT I WOULD RETURN THERE.

I had to wait until the lobby was unlocked (5 min. late) to check out. I guess I could have just left, but there was no way to contact anyone on site.

We needed a handicap accessible room , but found that the access to the bathroom was very difficult. Getting over entrance ridge with scooter was hard. Going for breakfast via the parking lot awkward. No coffeemaker in room is outdated. Major plus is the location, but hotel needs to renovate in a big way.

Got there and the lady at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. We needed to arrange for a taxi to get to a wedding and she gave us an old photocopied paper with 2 cab company numbers on it. One was a personal address, not a taxi company!!! The room was disgusting and smelled like mold. Air conditioner made noise all night off and on. The beds […] were old and extremely uncomfortable. First of all I walked into the room to the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke and mildew. This was incredibly upsetting after a long day wanting only to come and relax. There was so much water damage and the room and furnishings were far outdated in comparison to the description and pictures posted on the website. I am incredibly dissatisfied. This hotel is convieniently located to great shops, restaurants and water activities but I would not recommend it to anyone. There is a quaint B&B accross the street on the opposite corner that is also on Water Street that we would have moved to if we were staying longer than one night. Our bathroom was never cleaned from the last person. There was […] a used washcloth and their personal bar of soap with hair on it in the shower. The tub had skid proof stips that were half on and flopped around. The shower was very old. There was a portable refrig plugged under the sink you had to maneuver around. There was a $10. upgrade for water view with a walk through balcony to the other guest rooms. There were only two towels in the room that were paper thin and the size of a pillowcase. I used the Bathmat to dry off so that I can have a towel to dry my hair and leave one for my husband. From now on, I will check the towels in the room when we check in and get extra before the next morning's shower. Lesson learned for future hotel visits. This hotel has a lot of potential. This hotel definitely needs a re-do. Beds OK but sheets and blankets are old. No hair dryer in room. Adequate for what we needed, but pretty run down. Good location.

Picked the hotel for location and was not disappointed, immediate access to everything. Breakfast was simple but convenient. Room was musty and old, bathroom was evidently aged and needing repairs but worked.

When booked this hotel it was the perfect location for saeeing the Mayflower, plymouth rock etc. I read some of the reviews whichmostly complained about outdated things and thin towels... That would have been the least of my concerns. This hotel was terrible! It had a very heavy urine oder as well as dirty floors. When we pulled down the sheets they […] had never been changed and had hair in them. When we asked for a new room giving the condition of this one the front desk staff was accomodating. That second room was worse than the first one. Very Very Dirty Hotel! My family and I left this hotel and were prepared that since we paid through a third party that we may not get our money back. We drove 20 miles away to a different hotel that was so much better. I called the third party who I booked the hotel through the next morning and was refunded my money. I cannot speak but to our room which appeared to have been remodeled recently. It had new carpet and furnishings, LCD (small) TV. The walls looked fresh and overall ok clean. The bathroom had a new toilet but the tile walls were older. It certainly appeared that the cleaning lady must be quite short since the highest row of tiles had some mildew in […] the seams all the way around the shower. Although the bedspread appeared newer, the blanket, mattress and box springs were not. Some staining. I did not like the idea of a "real" key that i had to carry vs an electronic card. We were disappointed on our second day due to the pool being closed (chained shut) due to a chemical problem. The free breakfast was fine....waffles, fruits, juice, coffee, bagels and sweet buns. My biggest complaint was that the outside stairwells and the balcony floors (leading to each room) were terrible. Cigarette buts, papers and plain junk lying around in most places. It would not have taken long to clean these areas up but they were not for the 3 days we were there. Parking is a little tight also. Overall, the location is superb!!! you can walk to virtually anywhere. All i really cared about for 2 nights that it was conveniently located and the room pretty clean.... and that happened. Air conditioning was so loud we couldn't hear the TV. The bathroom had mold in shower and missing tiles in the floor. Towels weren't big enough to dry a bird let alone a human being. This place is old and in significant need of upgrades. Parking lot isn't big enough. Location is ideal for a visit to Plymouth. The staff is very pleasant.

This is the only hotel in the area that accepts pets, which is the sole reason we selected it. We had booked for 4 nights. We had no maid service the first day. On our second day, the only thing the maid did was make the bed. We had no towels, toilet paper, kleenex. Our trash can was overflowing. The frig froze all our fresh fruit. The hallways are […] filthy. The only positive things I can say are: (1) the location in Plymouth is excellent and (2) Ashley at the front desk has great customer service skills. Trying to turn the metal key to get into the room was a challenge. Door knobs are super old. After the two of us finally geting into the room, there was no electricty in the room (excempt the bathroom). We could not turn on room lights or the television. Was told this was an ongoing problem. Hotel needs some serious renovations done.

While this was a great location, the upkeep of the hotel was not good. It has seen better days. It was a bit run down. The room was not much better. Outdated. Stained carpet. There were holes in the chair in the room. The towels were stained.

This hotel is trying hard to please and update. As everyone says the location is wonderful. What I really loved is that they were so happy to help you, more than a lot of more expensive name hotels we have stayed in. The breakfast area even had a waffle maker and newspapers. Good location, friendly staff. Although there are 'improvement projects' underway, the facility is still aged. The exterior door did not close correctly enough for the deadbolt to engage. We had to try three rooms before we found one that was 'clean'. We found hair and toothpaste in the sink of the first one, the second room stunk, the third room was […] the least of the three evils. If the housekeeping were better, then I'd recommend this hotel because I can deal with worn furnishings and repainted wall paper. But I cannot get over uncleaned countertops and sinks and unvacuumed carpet. Glad we only had to stay two nights. Also, for a four person room, there were only 2 bath towels. Also, the breakfast did not include any cereal nor milk. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful in letting us try other rooms. We loved the location and the neighborhood. This hotel was extremely dirty. The room smelled really bad and the bed sheets had cigarette burns on them. The bath towels had black stains as well as blood stains. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Disgusting.

They were under renovation. To what extent i am not sure. Our Shower was disgusting. Overall Room upkeep was well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Pool should be cleaned. THE RIGHT WAY. We booked a king size bed and no smoking room, but on inquiring they said they didn't have king beds and there was no smoking allowed in hotel. There difinitly had been smokers because of smell and there was an ash tray on desk.

My friends and I stayed here the night before a big running relay race. We needed someplace cheap to crash the night before and we definitely found it here. This hotel lacks amenities BUT if you are looking for someplace cheap, clean, and convenient, this is your place. The staff was friendly and helpful and they offered a free breakfast at the hotel. […] It is literally across the street from the Mayflower and about a block from Plymouth rock. Lots of resturants and shops within walking distance too. While the location is great - right along the waterfront and close to tourist attractions - this hotel is not for the faint of heart. The rooms were severely outdated and the bathrooms, while respectably clean, frightened me. Since the rooms open up onto outdoor corridors, I expected the door locks to be more secure. The hotel building is in poor condition and should be updated before being offered to guests. The price for the guest rooms is way too much for the what is offered in terms of the size, condition, and overall ambiance of the rooms and building.

We had a room on the second level with a public balcony that looked out over the harbor. It was relaxing watching the boats and people go by. Location was great. Hotel had new management and was undergoing renovations. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would stay there again!
