A very friendly place and staff. Comfort and things todo all in one hotel. Love the Pool, Sona, and workout room. Great weekend dinners, and breakfest. Also near by casino.

The Hotel was great. It is an older hotel. The room we had was very clean and up-to-date. the only prblem we had was a noisy in room heater that I heard several times at night as I slept. The food was good at the Thanksgiving buffet and at the complimentary breakfast (full breakfast). At the price I paid, I got my moneys worth on this overnight Thanksgiving […] day stay. This stay much more pleasing than previous. Hotel very well maintained, very picturesque, friendly staff, hot breakfast complimentary cooked to order for eggs and meat which is much nicer than served buffet style.

We had a very nice stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful especially the women in the dinning room. The rooms were very clean and up to date. We will definately return again.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and checked that the room was acceptable. We had never stayed in the hotel before but would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I just wanted a weekend getaway, and this fit the bill exactly. The lounge/bar area was great! We were there on Friday and Saturday night. Friday night there was a DJ who played such a great variety of music, we had a blast dancing! Saturday we went and soaked in the pool and hot tub, and it was very relaxing. For one night I stayed in a room over the bar area and it was very noisy with the music thumping and the room smelled terrible of cigarette smoke. I asked the next day for another room and the desk clerk was very nice in assigning me another room that was not only non smoking but quiet. I so appreciated that. My husband was in a nearby hospital and […] the location of the Best Western made it so easy to go back and forth until he had his procedure and was able to go home. Hotel staff was very friendly! Breakfast was delicious .. morning waitresses are the bomb! Super friendly & gave great advice on places to see & do while we were there. Room was very comfortable & clean. Available TV channels were okay ... not the best overall selection though. Linens were in good shape & very clean. Our son used the gym, said it was […] very clean & enjoyed the equipment. Our only compliant would be the that the mattresses on both double beds were noisy & uncomfortable. IT WAS A VERY CLEAN HOTEL. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. THE ROOMS WERE VERY NICE AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

This looks like a new hotel, with a good-sized fitness center, lounge, and restaurant right there. It's right off the highway, with a gas station right across the street. It was the perfect place to spend the night with our two kids. My non-smoking room was definately a smoking room with several ash trays in the room. The entire room smelled of cigarette smoke. I checked in very late at night and had to be up early the next day so I only actually spent about 4 hours in the room. When I got home and unpacked, everything in my bag (which remained in the bathroom unpacked and un opened […] smelled of smoke and needed to be laundred. The sliding glass door did not actually lock. I was on the 2nd floor so I was hopeful that no one would attempt to enter the room through that door while I was asleep. The receptionist was very rude. I am disabled and she gave me wrong key to begin with so after I pushed all my things to 4th floor I had to push them back to get another key then has to wait 10 min for her to get off phone to hand me another key to go back up to 4th floor then to get in to room to get ready for shower to have a rubber package to stick […] to bottom of my foot . This is a pretty standard Best Western, nicer lobby than most, but in the end a Best Western. thing is a typical Best Western is pretty cheap and this hotel is very expensive for a Best Western but gets away wit it by being the only hotel in town. I had to be at the local Hospital early in the morning so I didn't want to stay in Elmira or another town […] 20-30 minutes away and this was my choice. That being said, this was a bit above a typical Best Western but not by much. Staff was very friendly, room was clean. My only 2 complaints other than Price were: Walls are razor thin, I see this said about a lot of hotels but have never complained about it until now. The person next to me was on the phone all night with various people and I could hear his entire conversation. Also the mini fridge in the room is SUPER LOUD. Every 20 minutes or so it powers up and just makes a really loud noise for about 5 minutes. Pretty annoying when trying to sleep. Breakfast was nice, standard cold bar with choice of Eggs, bacon and home fries included. The staff was nice but I also really only interacted at check in, check out and breakfast time. I'd stay here again if I had to stay in Sayre, but if you don't need to be right in town consider staying in NY somewhere, Elmira, Horseheads etc...cheaper hotels and more options not that far away. Hotel is very nice, but needs some updating. Needs better lighting and also a fan in the bathroom and cleaner blanket and bedspread on the bed.

The Best Western Grand Victorian was everything I expected. For the money-you were given a clean hotel room with no problems with loud neighbors, etc. I was impressed with the continental breakfast. They would make-to-order eggs, which I've never seen at a cheap highway motel. The rest of the breakfast was good. toast, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, etc. The […] lobby was good, and the bar/restaurant downstairs was pretty nice. Negatives: Only one elevator worked-not a big deal, but it did make waiting a little longer. The night we stayed there, the fire alarm went off 2 times early in the evening. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Service was terrible, room service did not clean after first night. Elevatior did not work, TV did not work, no light bulbs in lamps, etc.
