Super hotel, super breakfast, very near to the city center yet quiet, great breakfast.... Everything ok, a bit small the room, but not a big problem

Wuerzburg was a wonderful trip - the hotel was excellent.Staff were welcoming and eager to assisit and highly efficient. The location of the hotel was ideal as we were travelling by train. The Hotel is located on a quiet road parallel with the river and alongside the promenade. On turning right at the main entrance, within a few minutes, you are on […] the Alte Mainbrucke, a pedestrainised bridge leading directly to the town centre.(Shops, Rathaus, Museums, Dom and Residence). On leaving the hotel and going in the oppositedirection, within about 2-3 minutes, you reach the Tram stop - nos.2 or 4 go directly to the Hauptbanhof. ( It is also possible to walk along the main road or else use the path in the park which is parallel to the main rather busy road The town, typical of so many, has a large number of small shops, a major store and many eating places.Some of the later are inexpensive and the Ratskeller proved to be a favourite. Sigt-seeing is very straightforward and aas with many towns in the area, a visit to the local Tourist Office , in the Domplatz will yield a host of possibilities. We should definitely return to this Hotel for its convenience as well as its ambience and comfort. The breakfast served as a buffet had a wonderful selection of courses/teas and coffees, and we ususally devoted the best part of an hour for this leisurely start to the day. Skaityti daugiau

although renovation works were being carried out this had a minimal effect on the hotel the staff were very helpful and gave very good feedback the overall running did not alter the service we were given and a very convenient setting to walk into the city about 10 mins

The hotel is under serious construction. At first we couldn't even find the reception desk. It's hidden in a small room in the back of the hotel. It's so small there. While checking in, there are 3 other people had to wait outside of the room. And the construction workers are everywhere. The room is very nice and clean. They provide free wifi and parking. […] Maybe it's the German thing that running a hotel and construction are not a conflict. Fortunately nothing fall on top of us. Criteria for choice of this hotel was air-conditioned rooms and on-site restaurant/lounge. Restraurant/lounge is closed for remodeling without prior notice till AUG. Air-conditioner did not work even after repair crew had checked/adjusted twice. Staff OK but not freely suggesting close by alternatives to their restaurant situation. Observed other guests […] with similar complaints while waiting in the business center for slowest internet connection in years. Confirmed with hotel staff that in room pay as you go internet connection was not any faster. Would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. Skaityti daugiau

Great hotel, great location - you can walk from the train station about 15-30 mins depending on how quickly you walk. We had a 30 min walk there on the way to the hotel and a 15 min walk to the train station from the hotel once we knew where we were going. Very clean. Airconditioned. Would have been nice to have wifi but there is a computer in lobby […] with a printer as well if needed. The service was comparable to north american service (service in Europe never seems as great to me). The hotel was under renovation but that was never a problem. I'd definitely go back. Fantastic location-right on the River Main-close walking distance to two bridges (one an old pedestrian bridge) and close to the main square. The hotel breakfast was wonderful, with a large variety and the staff was very nice; from the front desk, breakfast staff to the extremely nice hotel maid.

This hotel was very nice and conveniently located near the bridge to Old Town. Nice accommodations. Staff were nice, not overly friendly, but professional and helpful when asked for help. They kindly offered us a map of the area without us having to ask. Our room was nice. All in all a pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

This hotel surprised me a lot - and not in a good way! It was basic and very outdated. The fittings were old and there was a slight smell around the place which could only be described as old-age. The staff were excellent and full credit to the lovely lady at reception who was exceptionally friendly and spoke fluent English, but unfortunately she was […] the highlight of our stay there. Breakfast (typical German breakfast bar, with nice eggs and decent bacon) was also nice, but when we were charged €15 each for it (after complaining the previous night that the room wasn't worth the money, but maybe the breakfast would make up for it) was all downhill from there! The Mercure was the standard one would expect. Everything was just fine and nothing was outstanding. I arrived mid-afternoon so I got a parking space in the free outside lot.. The location is good, about a 10 minute walk from the very interesting old town.

The room was just a bit shabby and the twin beds were tiny - little larger than campbeds. Additionally, the general condition of the room was poor; with scrape marks on paintwork and walls - but it was clean. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful, but I don't think I'd choose to stay there again.

This was a very nice hotel. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant - food was excellent. We were expecting breakfast to be included in the price, so were surprised at check out to be charged $16 Euro per meal. We would not have eaten there if we had known it was that expensive. When we checked in, we were just told […] that breakfast would be served from 6:30-10:30, and all our previous hotels had provided breakfast. This is a nice hotel in a beautiful town, Wurzburg is an amazing little town, and staying in the Mercure was a really pleasant experience. I was there with my two children, ages 10 and 11. We had a very nice triple room, which incidentaly was the largest room we had the whole time we were in Europe. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, able to supply us with maps and directions whenever we asked. Quite nice to live near the river, it takes 10mins walk to the town center. The town is small and you can spend 1 day for short walk. Also, you must go to the old bridge and have a glass of wine on the bridge. The parking facility on site cost 5euros only.

Hotel war super gut, sehr modern, sehr sauber. Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt neben den Parkplatz war leider halt morgens etwas laut vom Parkplatz her, sonst war aber alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit!

New, modern and clean. 20 minutes walk across the river from Hauptbahnhof, thus away from the hustle and bustle. The stop of Straßebahn 2 & 4 just around the corner. Very close to bridge Alte Mainbrücke and castle Festung Marienberg (the path is winding though).

Ein ordentliches Stadthotel in perfekter Lage zur Altstadt. Perfekt ist auch der Parkplatz für den PKW. Wir kommen immer gern in dieses Hotel.

Am Zimmer war nichts auszusetzen, allerdings hatte ich mich für das Hotel entscheiden, weil es im Internet mit kostenlosen PArkplätzen warb. Das Parkhaus des Hotels kostete allerdings 10 Euro, kostenlos waren nur die Parkplätze im Hof, die aber bei weitem nicht ausreichten. Außerdem war der Hof eng und nicht beleuchtet. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und praktisch erreichber. Von den Standard-Doppelzimmern hat man einen wnderbaren Blick auf die gegenüber liegende Stadt und den Main. Im Zimmer ist alles, was auch der ältere Mensch so liebt: eine Badewanne, W-Lan und ein großer HD-Fernseher. Ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist opulent […] , außerdem reicht die Küche auchzu anderen Tageszeiten Kleinigkeiten zum Essen. Wer Hunger auf eine gehobene aber noch günstige fränkische Küche hat, der ist gegenüber in den Jahnterrassen bestens aufgehoben. エクスペディアの紹介では、Ｗｉ－Ｆｉが無料ということでしたが、現地に着くと有料と言われました。そこが残念。 あとは、少し街中からは離れているので荷物多い方は少しきついかもしれません。 ただ、川辺なので散歩には最適です。

Nothing much too see in its neighbourhood but location is still excellent. Just a 5 minute walk along the river to reach the old bridge. Free parking is very nice to have.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer waren mit viel Geschmack neu renoviert. Der Weg in die Stadt dauert 10 Minuten und ist bei gutem Wetter kein Problem. Ich würde dieses Hotel Mercure in Würzburg wieder wählen.

L'hotel è in una posizione ottima per la visita della citàà. La struttura è nuova a confortevole, anche se durante il mio soggiorno in agosto erano in corso dei lavori di ristrutturazione di un piano dell'albergo, ma senza che la qual cosa infastidisse i clienti.

Das ganze Hotel wird gerade renoviert, deshalb leichte Einschränkungen z.B. Fahrstühlen und bei den Parkplätzen (am Wochenende aber kein Problem, da reichen die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage, die während des Umbaus auch kostenlos sind). Das Zimmer war schon sehr schön renoviert. Die Lage ist für einen Wochenendbesuch ideal: 5 Fußminuten von der alten […] Mainbrücke entfernt, und trotzdem sehr einfach von außerhalb zu erreichen. 房间比较大，而且整洁干净，有一个大浴缸，最难能可贵的是可以收到中央电视台。地下有专用的车库，我觉得这在德国自驾比较重要。但是我们去的时候一层都在装修，工人一直干到晚上7点才结束工作。离维尔茨堡的中心有一点距离，大概走路要10-15分钟。整体上来讲，这是一家不错的酒店。
