The shower in our room did not have good water pressure. The hot tub was not hot and actually had cold water in the jets. The indoor pool was very cold. Workout equipment was not in very good shape. The complimentary breakfast served had cold eggs and was not re-stocked well. We did like the layout of the place and the game room games.

A great place to stay! Clean rooms and facilities, VERY FRIENDLY staff, and a very QUIET environment in the middle of a VERY busy part of the city. We have to go back next week, so this is where we will stay!!

the hotel is great,however they said that all entrances would be locked at eleven p.m. and they were not.we would have felt safier had they been.otherwise it is a great place with a wonderful dinning place solo.

Very convenient to airport. Good individually prepared breakfast, not a buffet but a simple 2 egg breakfast, hash brown, toast eggs and pancakes or waffles. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Hotel is older, not fancy but kept up well. Perfect home base during a busy visit.

An easy hotel for the business traveller during the week with good wireless.. Tad too many religious parties at the weekend but they are survivable. I stayed during the week. Don't expect much of the food, but it is adequate, there is a Texas Roadhouse next door.

they were flexible enough to allow me to check in 2hrs early. Great bed/pillows! although the toilet would keep running, it was only a minor annoyance. Huge area for kids to play around in indoors - pool table,pool, etc. Left too early in a.m. to get breakfast, so no opinion there. Considering we stayed Thursday thru Saturday night, the hotel was very quiet with no real issues. There was minimal plane noise even tho it is very close to the airport. The room and staff were great. Any issues they were on them immediately to correct. The attached resturant was fantastic. The complimentary breakfast was a full meal. Food was great […] with an attentive staff. When I requested soft poached eggs that came out hard, the waitress immediately took them back. Then she sent back the second group when they looked overdone. I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Airport Inn and Conference Center located close to the Mid Continent Airport in Wichita, KS. The hotel staff was both courteous and helpful. The room was well maintained. My only complaint was not putting the 'do not disturb' sign on the outside of my door before I went to sleep. The house keeping decided to wake […] me up 8am even though the checkout time was at noon. I had stayed up late the night before preparing for an interview the following day. My plan was to sleep in later than 8am. I recommend this place just make sure if you want to sleep in, utilize the 'do not disturb' sign. Another reason for staying there was the convenient location to the airport where my interview was going to take place but also Solo's' diner being located at the Best Western. I ate there twice and both times the food came out hot and was quite good. This was a great hotel which was is conveniently located by the airport - only problem was that the air conditioner did not work in our room. In 104 degree weather there is no way to sleep well in this situation! They brought us a fan for our room to try to help. Our recommendation is check the air conditioner before you settle in!

On the first night the chlorine in the pool was unbearably strong... when I went to the office they said the maintenance man was on vacation. By early (7am) the next morning they had someone in cleaning the pool and hot tub and adjusting the chlorine levels. I was impressed with their desire to do things right. The only disappointment was the breakfast in a brown bag given me because I had to be at the airport at 3:39a.m. A small juice box, a small muffin, and a small apple had too much sugar, and did not compare with breakfast available free in the restaurant after 6:00 am. Every thing else was great.

Overall I had a positive experience. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was in a handy location to everything. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed although there were some items that needed repair. The bit that held the shower head was cracked and as soon as you turned it on the shower head would fall out of its receptacle. […] The ironing board would not stay up and the iron would not heat up satisfactorily. The room was to have 2 queen beds. The beds were full size at best. Extra pillows were ordered from the front desk. Evidently, there was only one person on staff that could complete this task and they were "out on a run". Also, yellow tickets are needed for breakfast to order off the complimentary breakfast menu in the cafe....this was not explained […] when we checked-in. Spider webs in the hotel room and the heater was making some horrible noise all night long and not really heating the room.

Was in town for 2 nights for work. This hotel is convenient to the Wichita airport. The service is good. Very nice check in people, and they have shuttle that will pick up/drop off at airport AND to locations nearby. I had to do business a few miles away they they shuttled me to and from. So tip the shuttle! The rest of the hotel is ok. It's huge w/a […] massive public area with games and indoor pool. It was just creepily empty; a bit like an empty nursing home vibe to it. There was an AA conference going on that weekend, so it was kind of surreal. The "free" breakfast was ok, I opted for $2 off a fuller breakfast menu, but the food was just so-so. Ordered room service after a late work day. Chicken and waffles - the chicken was good...the waffle had a strange off flavor. And the "butter infused" maple syrup was just melted butter with a slight hint of maple...it was kind of like drenching a waffle in a bunch of pan drippings...ewww. Skaityti daugiau

I highly recommend this hotel primarily because of the great customer service I received from the front desk each time I asked for something. I didn't like the location of my first room, it was changed immediately to exactly what I wanted. The few personal items I forgot were supplied, i.e. toothpaste, body lotion etc. The front desk personnel answered […] questions about restaurants. The most impressive service I received was after checking out, we needed the room again and they let us come back and use it (it was close to requested checkout time), but we'd been gone for several hours. It was a very friendly and fun place to stay. They had pingpong tables, shuffle board, pool, fitness room. Although nothing was state of the art, it was fun to have access to all those items. The hotel did not honor the reservation for two beds. Hotels.com agent stated that it was up to the hotel and that they were not responsible.

Contrary to the other reviews that mentioned too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub, I used both and didn't smell chlorine at all. Both the pool and the hot tub were clean and enjoyable, along with the entire recreation area. The room was clean and the TV was beautiful with many channels to choose from. Every time we stay here the chlorine smell in the pool area is SO strong we can't stand it and neither can our grandchildren. We stay there for the pool activites and indoor games. :-( Guess we'll start looking for another place to stay.
