Hotel Charles - Budapeštas

When we first checked into our room we opened the windows straight away as the room was very hot and there was no air conditioning. The noise was so loud with traffic, buses etc that we could not leave the window open. we tried to stay here but couldn't, no fresh air and so hot in the room we knew we would not want to be in this room at all. we rang […] and asked for a quieter room and was informd that if we paid 4 euros per day more we could have a quieter room. They also said we could have another room with air conditoning for an extra 12 euros. We were not happy with this response and asked that they find us a room anywhere else that was quieter without having to pay more. Eventually they found us a room that was a lot quieter, it was not ready then so we went away and came back in half hour and it was ready and it was nice. I do not think it is right that they keep trying to upsell you after having paid a fair price for the room. in the end it turned out fine and the porter was quiet lovely and he did his best to help us. This hotel was out of town, this was known at booking. Hotel Car park was a good size and secure. Hotel was diffiult to get too, with the one way streets, signs would be helpful. Hotel is old style in inside, with dated fixtures, my room was at the end of a corridor, this meant little to no wifi connection, which was frustrating. Staff helpful. You […] can use the bus opposite to get into Budapest -15 mins transfer approx. Can buy bus tickets at the hotel reception too, which was really good. It's a great Hotel, but a bit away from the centre. If you take the bus it's fine but after 11:00 pm there are only taxis and unfortunately not all taxis can be trusted in Budapest... If you need to take a taxi contact the Hotel before arriving and they'll give the number for a trustworthy company.

Hotel di buona qualità, staff molto cordiale che cerca di aiutarti in qualsiasi cosa, parlano un po di italiano, 20 minuti a piedi dal centro. Colazione di buona qualità. DA consigliare.

Rent og koselig hotell. Store og enkle rom . Badet har enkel standard men er helt greit. Lite med bråk fra trafikk og en god hotellfrokost med norsk standard. Utrolig serviceinstilt personell som hjelper deg med hva du må trenge. Koselige små matbutikker i området, litt vanskelig å oppdage ved første blikk. Minibank innen 100meter. Ca 5 minuter gångväg från Donau/Centrum låg detta trevliga hotell. Fräscht, billigt och trevlig personal. En positiv överraskning var att vi fick ett pentry på rummet. Minus: Trafikerad gata utanför

O Charles Hotel esta localizado em uma área bastante movimentada e o barulho do trafego atrapalha bastante o descanso. Alem disso e um prédio bastante antigo, por isso nem todos os apartamentos tem ar-condicionado e as camas não são muito confortáveis. Apesar disso, o café-da-manha e bom e barato e os funcionários do hotel são muito prestativos e falam […] vários idiomas. Hotellets inredning var omodern, men allt fungerade och det var rent och fint. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. En stor väg går precis utanför vilket gör att det är ganska mycket oljud på rummen på dagen. Tog cirka 20 minuter att gå in till stan, gick också buss precis utanför som var nästan gratis. Vi tilbrakte flere netter på dette flotte hotellet. Servicen er vi enige om at må være den beste vi noen gang har hatt og vi er godt bereiste! Her trenger du ikke være redd for å gå glipp av ting selvom du skulle reist på egenhånd. De kom med mange anbefalninger om hva vi burde se og gjøre. De virket veldig stolte av byen sin og ville at vi skulle […] ha best tenkelig opplevelse av den. De ordnet bestillinger på bl.a kurbad, taxi (avtalt pris til enkelte steder) og ikke mist et fantastisk Dinner Cruise de anbefalte langs med Donau. Resturanten serverte meget god frokost med godt utvalg. Denne kunne man også sette seg ned i om kvelden for å kose seg etter en lang dag. Eneste som kan være greit å tenke på ved å velge dette hotellet er å betale for aircondition hvis man får et rom ut mot gaten, da det kan være noe forstyrrende støy hvis man sover med vinduet oppe om natten. Vil anbefale å ta taxi hvis man skal ned til sentrum noe som også var veldig billig. Anbefales på det sterkeste!! Skaityti daugiau

Hinta laatusuhteeltaan hyvä hotelli. Sijainti ei ole kävelevälle liian kaukana Pestin ydinkaduista. Autoparkki on hyvä ja turvallinen. Suosittelen

시내에서 약간 떨어진 것이 흠이나, 언덕위의 성당등 명소와는 가까움, 이용시기에 따라 가격이 변하니, 상대적으로 저렴할때 예약하면 괜찮을 것임

A very good hotel at a resonable price Very nice and helpfull staff. The restaurant helds a high standard and a rich menue. Travelling on the budget, this is one of the best offers you can get. At this price you can hardly get a better offer.

Väldigt hjälpsamma på hotellet. God restaurang. Fräscht hotell. Ligger lite utan för centrum men tar bara 20 min att gå eller 5 min med taxi, vi tog taxi snålar aldrig på mina resor tar aldrig buss eller tåg, man ska ha det gott ju !

il personale è più che gentile(ma si aspetta una mancia altrimenti vi guarderanno male) il parcheggio è all'interno dell'albergo cosi si può stare tranquilli!! le camere avrebbero bisogno di nuova moquette ma sono tuttavia pulitissime e da poco pitturate, anche il bagno è stato rifatto da non molto tempo la fermata del bus è davanti all'entrata ma facendo […] due passi si è subito al ponte elisabbetta. Hotel Charles kan anbefales, fordi man får meget for pengene. For en pris der er mindre end den, man betaler for tre gange fiskefilet m. pommes frites på en Scandlines færge får man et dobbeltværelse med trinettekøkken. Eller separat køkken! - Og naturligvis badeværelse. Men på den måde er det jo en hotellejlighed, man får. Tænk, hvad man kan spare […] i restaurationsregninger! Hotellets restaurant er i topklasse, og det er hotellets service også. Det er stort; der er mange gæster; det ligger ikke centralt; det er ikke et luksushotel. Hotel Charles is a very nice and clean hotel. It's just a short 20 min walk from the centre of Budapest.
