I was in Paris for a week so needed a hotel which was comfortable and convenient for Gare du Nord. There were a few items that need mentioning. There was no door to the bathroom; instead it had a shade type of separator. The bed was not comfortable - to hard. However, the pillowes wer fantastically comfortable. The room was clean and the staff nice.

There was 2 wet patchs on the carpet , one in front of the fridge and one near the bed. The soap dish was at an angle in the shower, so the soap and shampoo kept falling off. A minor inconvience,every thing else was excellent. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel.

(negative: shower head pops off, shower drain clogs up, cooling not working effectively) room 401 - broken showerhead so moved to room 301 (same size room) room 301 - half the size of room 402. adequate for single traveller or a couple. shower over bath (head pops off), tiny cupboard (2 jackets), no room to move around beds. excellent cooling! (negative: phone could not receive international calls). IF POSSIBLE, ASK FOR ROOMS 102, 202, 302 OR 402! STAFF a couple of staff members are extremely helpful and the others are not at all. This hotel ruined my Paris break due to the sweltering temperatures in the room. I was unable to get more than 4 hours sleep a night and the hotel refused to activate the A/C. Good points: I suffer from asthma, and I found the rooms very clean. The rooms are very well presented. The shower is excellent (though an odd design which lets water go everywhere […] on the floor). The bed was comfortable and made up every day. The staff spoke good English. The breakfast was pretty good, if very pricey at 16 EUR per person. Bad points: It was May, and in a mini-heatwave. The room was at 25 degC even with the windows open at night. Each night I failed to sleep more than 4 hours due to the high temperatures. Also I tried sleeping with the windows open, but when I did manage to drop off, I was awoken by the shouting of 'drunken youths' on the street below so I was getting up a lot to open and then close the windows. When I asked for the A/C to be activated, I was told that the entire hotel must be on heating or cooling mode, and nobody else had complained yet. I was also told that it was due to be back to normal in a few days and get cooler, so it was not worth putting it on. (didn't think one button was too much effort). Outside it was cooler on my last night, but in the room the coolest I got it was 23 degrees, which is still far too hot. So I spent most of each night awake, wishing I had chosen a different hotel. I want to share my experience of staying in this hotel with anyone who are thinking of staying here while in Paris. The staff are all wearing 5 star smiles. They are very nice and helpful. You just feel very comfortable and warmly welcomed in a small hotel in Paris. Location - Not bad, just a few minutes' walk to Metro, and there are a lot of eateries […] around. And it is also close to Hausmann Avenue and it is easy to walk to Opera and all the big department stores. Hotel - The lobby is cosy. Room is well designed. Quite modern and nice. However, there are somethings I think the hotel needs improvements. 1) The shower without door or curtain in the bathroom let water splash out to the floor of bathroom; 2) I think the maid should hoover the carpet to make sure no dirt is left on the carpet, since my bare feet can tell. Otherwise, the hotel is a 4 star hotel with good features: 1) The bed is very comfortable; 2) there are several English channels; and 3) It is a new hotel (5 months old). It was a Nice Hotel, but once again a glas door to the toilet. It was hard to find and even the taxi drivers could not find it. The rooms are extremely small. Otherwise a good hotel. But I will not choose this hotel again.

This is a great location, close to the subway and lots of restaurants. The hotel has been renovated so is modern, but room cleanliness depends on who looks after your room - the garbage had not been emptied in my room when I arrived. Otherwise comfortable, friendly service, breakfast was ok, always a bit more expensive like other hotels.

This hotel was in an excellent location - within walking distance of the Gard du Nord train station and the Seine. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English, and the room was well designed with a very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend.

Our room was very comfortable, well decorated and clean. The staff was helpful. Though it is not very close to the central tourist attractions we still enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hotel especially when one compares it to all, considering the price for value in Paris. A least we knew that we were the first ones to use the towels:)

I think this hotel has been recently renovated - everything looked and smelt new. My room was small, very modern, with a really comfortable mattress. Nice bathroom with a bath/shower, a bar fridge and a coffee-maker in the room, and huge TV screen. Mein Zimmer war sehr klein, mit knapp genug Platz fuer das Bett. Das Zimmer und Bad waren aber sehr sauber, und alles funktionierte gut (inklusive gratis WiFi). Das Hotel ist etwas abseits der 'tourist traps', aber vieles ist per Fuss erreichbar, und die Metro ist nur ein paar Minuten entfernt.

Vi bodde på hotellet 15.e - 18.e februari 2013. Mycket bra läge i 9.e arrondissementet. Gångavstånd till stora gatan med flertalet restauranger. Personalen var vänlig och engelsktalande. Rent, modernt och fräscht hotell, dock är rummen små men lagom för 2 personer (vi bodde i vanligt dubbelrum). Toaletten på rummet är inget för nyförälskade par som […] vill vara ifred på en toalett :-) Då dörren bestod av en skjutdörr av glas där man kunde dra ner en rullgardin som man kunde se igenom om man kollade noga :-) Det var inte så lyhört från gatan då just gatan utanför är lugn, men lyhört från hotellet om någon stod i närheten av rumsdörren. Lite kallt på rummet trots ac på maxgrad (26), eller så är vi frusna av oss :-) Sköna kuddar och täcken, medel mjuk säng som dock var liten dubbelsäng. Frukosten provade vi inte då vi ansåg att det var för dyrt, men vi kan ångra det i efterhand för det var ännu dyrare att äta den ute, samt att man inte fick så mycket för pengarna, så man kanske borde äta frukost på hotellet ändå. Överlag är vi jätte nöjda med hotellet och läget, rummet städades väl och man hade ingen anmärkning på nåt. Dem positiva delarna tar över dem få negativa. Very small, cramped rooms with only a glass door between the sleeping area and the bathroom. Staff was mostly polite and friendly, but the person who handled our checkout was rather incompetent.

観光で５泊利用しました。早朝のチェックインも快くやっていただけました。部屋もきれいですごしやすかったです。セキュリティもしっかりしていました。場所も駅にも近く、オペラ座界隈なら歩いて行けます。食べる場所もたくさんあるので困りません。フロントの人もみんな優しかったです。浴槽も冷房もついてるので快適です。水の流れが少し悪いのが難点です。

If this was a three star hotel it would probably live up to my expectations, but since it is registered as a four star hotel it didn' t. Our room was tiny, but clean.
