We had a great stay! Breakfast was good. Close to the GBC that we could walk less then 3 mins. The only thing wrong with this hotel is parking if they r book-up. But the up side to this is they will Re-inverse if u park across the street for $25.00. So all in all I would stay here again and tell friends and family. Pool inside

Easy access from the freeway and across from the Toyota Center. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was super clean. The beds are comfortable and the room was spacious. I highly recommend staying here and I will definitely book this hotel in the future.

There wasn't a whole lot of parking available, but the rooms were nice and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The hotel was very nice but it was extremely disappointing to book a queen suite and upon arrival be told, "sorry, we already gave them away".

My fiancé and I, had a great time. The hotel staff were very friendly. The complimentary food was great. Overall the trip was amazing. The hotel is located on the outside of downtown so we did alot of walking. But it was well worth it... We will delicately be back!

My experience could have been better. There was a shortage of parking spaces within the hotel grounds. Fortunately it was aSunday so I could park on the street at no cost but otherwise it was not good. I also experienced a noise problem in the room as there was a whirring sound that was like a clothes dryer that kept me up most of the night. The only disappointment is that the fitness center only had cardio units. This has been true of other Holiday Inn Express' I have stayed in. Will look for other options for my staff (500) and me.

As always this is a great place to stay if you need access to the convention center, ballpark, or basketball stadium. Everything is within walking distance. This particular stay there was a problem with the air conditioner. After calling the front desk they were there within 10 minutes and did not fool around. They had a new A/C with them and swapped […] it within another 10 minutes. This one was fine and we had no other problems. I was in town for a very large convention, and I was really happy with this hotel. It was perfectly convenient and a great deal. Nothing fancy, but clean, friendly, and a great value.

The staff was great. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful. However, yopu can tell from the bathroom wall fixtures that have been moved, and the molding around the bottoms of the doors, etc. that it is an older facility. I am not a fan of the smell of the shampoo and conditioner they provide.

We stayed before the Houston marathon and it was great. Two blocks from start/finish line, free parking. The staff is super-friendly and even started the breakfast buffet an hour early to take care of the runners who were up at 5am!

There was insane construction going on in the downtown area, so you have to maneuver through it to get to the hotel. several homeless and panhandlers in the area. However, every time we arrived at the hotel, there was a front parking space right by the door, and I could see my car from my hotel room window. The other good thing was the Houston police […] department always hung out there, to get coffee or on their lunch break. So I felt very safe. The Holiday Inn staff was unprofessional. Every time I came to the counter they were hidden away and I had to wait 2-4 minutes for someone to come out and service me. Also there was a confusion about my stay there. So on my second morning a cleaning lady walked in (w/o knocking) and freaked me out. She said that her notes had said the room was vacant. I told her I was to be there 2 more nights. That was very uncomfortable. Last thing...The swimming pool is surrounded by all windows facing the street. So anyone that drove by or walked by could observe you taking a relaxing swim or soak in the hot tub. Unfortunately the only on lookers would be the homeless and panhandlers. Skaityti daugiau

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay. We stayed to attend a concert at the Toyota Center and its location and cost were perfect. It was an easy walk to the venue, and the next day the staff let us leave our car parked there well after checkout so we could walk over to Discovery Green to go ice skating. We passed by Houston to watch NBA. This hotel is a stone-throw-away to Toyota Center. Didn't expect it much except its location. However, everything looked great beyond our expection. Strongly recommend it!!!

Everyone was very nice and it was very clean! Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Parking for us was also easy and we did not have to pay extra! The only thing we did not like was the bed, you could feel the springs. Otherwise it was a very nice stay!

The cookies and milk after 4p.m. were a pleasant surprise as was the candy near the elevators and on the bed daily. The room was clean and comfortable. One issue I had was with the cleanliness of the floor in the elevator. It was positively filthy. This place is at the center of everything sports, concert, or convention. It's cheaper than the Hilton but that's just it. There's no restaurant, no glassware, and the place has seen heavy traffic due to it's location. Literally two minutes walking to a Rockets game, ten to an Astros game or convention and about 15 to a Texans game. They do well there […] to keep up with maintenance but it has seen better days. My shower curtain was rehung so many times the drywall could hardly hold it up anymore. It's clean though, you can tell the staff works hard. Awesome location since it's right next to the Toyota Center and we went there for a concert, just a block away! Only negative was they wanted us to pay $10 to park a second vehicle when we booked a double bed. They went ahead and gave us a second pass to park. Will book it again for the next concert!!

Place was close to our reason for the visit to Houston. We had a kid who had a blast in the kiddie pool (heated). Breakfast was standard, but still loved that there was a couple of staff members looking out for guests. My kid forgot her doll and the staff were so awesome that they mailed it back to us! Love that kind of service.

Many maintenance problems: lock on the door didn't work, hot tub wasn't hot, ice machine didn't work, suffocating use of air freshner in the room, TV channels weren't available

I slept well each night of my trip in the relaxing bed and comfortable over-sized room which was convenient to the concert and baseball I attended. Will definitely use this as my headquarters for future excursions.

Loved IT!!!WE arrived early and had no trouble checking in!! It was a fantastic location ..right next to the Toyota center..convention centrer and close to minute maid park. The pool area was beautiful and well kept! The breakfast buffet was the best I have seen lots of choices.
