Visited Hotel Mirador with a group of friends. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It's well situated on the harbour, the old town is 5-10 minutes walk away. The breakfast offered a good choice and can be eaten with a good view of the harbour. reasonably priced. Rooms were a decent size, clean with patio. Very clean just what was needed for our one night stay before cruise. Our room had a small balcony with a great view of the waterfront and all the sailboats. The breakfast buffet was very nice with some really great thinly sliced ham. Yum! I would choose to stay there again.

Went for one night to Palma while staying elsewhere in Mallocra and had great time. The hotel was great, staff very nice and the location perfect, can't wait to go back.

Overall, it was ok. But I was expecting it to be of a higher standard, as it was rated a 4-star hotel. The staff who checked us in, were not friendly and when we requested for a room in front of the marina, he was not accommodating and quite rude. We arrived at the hotel early and had the concierge hold our luggage for us. When we came back that evening from sightseeing, they had already placed our luggage in our room! I do believe part of that could be because you have to take more than one elevator to get to the upper floors. This would be my only dislike. They did take down our luggage for […] us, though, while we were eating breakfast before checking out. Our room was awesome! I didn't think I was signing up for such a treasure: corner room facing the water, two balconies, and the room was quite large too! Our stay included breakfast, which we had out on the terrace with a spectacular view. This hotel is also very close to the nightlife. There was no need to take the bus (which, by the way, there is a stop right outside the hotel, one line with airport service) or a cab. It was also not far from the sites in the city center. I went to Palma with my female friends and we had a superb time. Everything ran smoothly from our flights out to Palma to the conclusion of our holiday. We thought the staff at the hotel were fabulous and the hotel was very clean. Fabulous breakfast. Great location....very central. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Mirador for 7 days.We were in room 907. After reading previous reviews I requested a room on the 9th floor. It is the best place if you want the best view (but you have to request ocean view, which 907 is not). Our shower drain was clogged and our patio door wouldn't lock, but no one can access the patio so those were […] just small issues. The staff was extremely accomidating so accomidating that they couldnt wait to clean our room every morning . We are late sleepers and staff walked in on us sleeping 5 times during our stay so between the hours of 9-1pm make sure you are decent. The rooms were extremely quiet. We didnt hear anything (except the odd time someone walked by our door in heels). There is no bathtub, but the shower is more then big enough for two. The hotel is full of art and history that its a refreshing change to the other white wall hotels. The breakfast is amazing and so was the restaurant! We absolutely loved our stay at the Mirador and have already booked to return in the summer! I heard that Mallorca in general is a summer island, so I was hesitant to book in January, but the weather was amazing! 18 degrees and no it wasn't beach weather, but coming from Canada it sure was a nice change. There still lots to do too. We were there from the 29th of Dec until the Jan 5th so there were lots of parties, and activities going on. If like us, you want to be right on the harbour then this hotel is in a great location. Hotel very quirky... paintings/artwork galore, dark wooden panelling and 70's furniture... We loved it. Service excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast ok, not overwhelmed by choice but food was tasty. Rooms reasonable size . Had seen other reviews […] on TripAdvisor saying they were small - that wasn't our experience... Overall, I couldn't fault this hotel, Great location, staff, standards etc. Lovely sun terrace with view of cathedral and over the harbour . One problem: I booked 3 rooms with double beds through Hotels.com. When we got to the hotel, we all had rooms with twin beds. ,The hotel didn't seem to have double bedded rooms. My wife and I stayed at the Mirador 1 night prior to embarking on a week Med. Cruise. Although the room was expectedly a little small by NA standards,the hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was perfect for a short 10 mintute walk into the town center with many restautrant opportunities on the way. Across the street was the main […] marina where mega yatchs were moored. You know that you're in the twilight zone when they make a couple with four suit cases, and an ill 18 month old stay on the 5th floor which requires you to take the elevator to the fourth floor, then WALK up 1 flight of curved stairs in order to take the elevator (the size of a NYC phone booth) up to the sixth floor (which is the 5th floor). I would not stay there again. To get to the room we had to take 2 elevators and walk through the cafeteria. Furniture in the room is outdated. Safe was not working. One of the phones was not working. Old blankets.

The hotel met expectations in most areas but the service was a little disappointing at times. The hotel was clean, located across from the harbor, close to many restaurants. Our son recommended this hotel to us but we think he was lucky with his room. We booked a sea view but the first room we were given had a balcony that was fenced off from a public sun terrace, so if we opened the curtains we were likely to see people looking back at us. The view from "our" balcony was only good if you stood up! Also less mobile guests […] should be aware that the rooms above the fourth floor were not easy to get to. You have to take a lift to the fourth floor, then walk to the back of the hotel which includes a flight of stairs, and take another lift up. As my husband had had an operation his knees a few days before, the flight of stairs posed a problem, but reception "opened" the lift which took us to the fifth floor breakfast room (only open from 7.30 to 11 am) and unlocked the breakfast room door to allow us access to the lift at the back of the hotel. We were not happy with this arrangement as we did not want to ask reception every time we went in or out. So we were moved to a room on the third floor which had a sea view from the side of the hotel. There was a lot of traffic noise at all times of the day and night. Breakfast on the sun terrace every morning was lovely. But do not expect a "full English". Yes, there were eggs and raw, slightly warm bacon, but the selection of fresh fruit, bread and pastries was good. A good stay but would not rush to return. Skaityti daugiau

They are really friendly and nice hotel. Just one problem is room temperature is so hot even out side is really comfortable. Air conditioner is also not really working.

The room was large, clean and pleasant. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice. It is a well-managed hotel and good value. The criticisms are relatively minor. They are that one of the reception clerks had poor English, there was a daily hire charge for use of the room safe and there were problems with the telephone in my room. The telephone […] line was dead when I arrived but was fixed soon after I reported it. The Hotel Mirador suited us perfectly for this trip. The room was large with a seating area and a good size balcony. The bathroom was large and all marble as was the floor throughout. I don't usually find it worth upgrading rooms but in this case the sea view was worthwhile. It was interesting to watch goings on in the port and the road below. The breakfast […] was excellent with a large selection of very good food choices including eggs and bacon. The bar was a nice place to sit if rain prevented us venturing out for a while. I would say that there was a shortage of clothes storage space, no drawers and one wardrobe mostly taken up with bedding. The first impression of the decoration and appearance of the hotel was perhaps slightly dissapointing but we quickly overcame this and felt very comfortable once settled in. Staff was very friendly. Food was good. Location was good with a nice view of the harbor. I had one dissatisfaction. They knew nothing about Mallorca outside their hotel. So, getting info about stuff you're interested in is not possible. I know it's not their job, but... And to be honest, none of the locals on the island could answer our questions.

I would strongly recommend this hotel as it met our expectations in every respect. It was excellent value for money and very conveniently located being on the bus route from the airport to the seaport. I find it surprising that in other reviews the staff had been described as unhelpful, as over the course of 24 hours a number of different personnel […] on reception could not have been more obliging. After leaving the hotel I discovered that I had left my mobile phone charger in room. I emailed the hotel who informed me that they would keep it for me and even offered to post it to me. As I was returning to Palma at the end of a cruise I told them that I would call and pick it up. I arrived just after 8:00 am and sure enough the charger was there waiting for me. We had arranged car hire from 9:00 am and had an hour to kill so I asked if it would be alright to use my laptop in the lobby and make use of their wifi facility. They kindly allowed me to do so. Vi hade beställt rum med två enkelsängar, men fick en (smal) dubbelsäng med gemensamt täcke. Rummet var litet men fräscht och välstädat. Bra frukost och bra läge.

Otrevlig personal i reception - vi hade bokat rum med balkong vilket vi ej fick - var tvungen att ringa hotels.com för att få hjälp. Enligt bekräftelse skulle det vara balkong - vet ej om jag kan lita på hotel.coms hemsida. Halvdan städning. Maten nästan slut i slutet av frukosten. Sammantaget var det ytterligt bleka stjärnor för detta hotell som säkert […] lyste bättre på 70-talet. Ta ett annat hotell.... Det var et helt fantastisk ophold. Hotellet havde den perfekte beliggenhed og var utrolig velholdt og rent. Dejligt med parkeringskælder ved siden af hotellet. Personalet var meget imødekommende og servicen var i top. Vi kommer helt klart igen.

AC´n fungerade inte på rummet men det gjorde oss inte så mycket eftersom det inte var så varmt ute så pass tidigt på året. Härlig utsikt över hamnen. Kan inte uttala mig om maten då vi inte åt på hotellet. Jag tyckte det var ett bra hotell.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Uferpromenade und ist zu Fuß etwa 20-30 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Man könnte auch problemlos mit dem Bus fahren. Eine Haltestelle ist direkt hinter dem Hotel. Schräg vor dem Hotel ist eine Haltestelle für die Stadtrundfahrt. Die Mitarbeiter von der Rezeption helfen einem gerne weiter, meistens aber nur auf Englisch. Im […] Parkhaus direkt nebenan kann man auf einer Etage für 4 Euro den Mietwagen abstellen. Die Zimmer waren toll und bestanden aus getrenntem Wohn und Schlafzimer jeweils mit TV. Das Bad war auch sehr sauber. Beim Frühstück war für jeden etwas dabei. Wir waren im Februar, da gab es nur das Restaurant unten. In der Saison hat das Restaurant im 5. Stock mit Terrasse und herrlichem Blick geöffnet. Auf die Terrasse kann man aber auch so drauf. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es viele nette Lokale zum Essen und Trinken. Ein paar Häuser weiter ist sogar das Hard Rock Cafe. Und im Shamrock gibt es immer wieder Musik. Wenn wir wieder nach Palma gehen, sofort wieder dieses Hotel. Skaityti daugiau

Puesto que nosotros sólo pernoctabamos en el hotel nuestra estancia fue sobre llevable.Para las personas que deciden residir en este la estancia tiene que ser muy incomoda.Para los residentes a partir del piso 5º,el acseso és cogiendo un acensor hasta el 4º piso salir,coger unas escaleras de unos doze escalones caminar unos 30 metros y volver a coger […] un ascensor para finalmente llegar al piso 5º. Solicitamos una reparación en el desague del lavabo puesto que derramaba el agua por el suelo que no se realizo en dos días.El acceso al parking era también bastante complicado puesto que era un parking publico en el exterior en un piso concreto. Vi (tre vänner) anlände på förkvällen, snabbt fick vi nycklar till rummet och instruktion om frukostservering kommande morgon. Efter installation på rummet tog vi en öl i baren (trevlig personal och hyggliga priser) och via den fria wi-fi:n kollade vi upp lämpliga restauranger. Sängarna var sköna (åt det fastare hållet) och frukostbuffeén väl tilltagen. […] Hotellet ligger mitt emot hamnen så det var enkelt att hyra segelbåt ena dan och hyra bil dag två då det finns ett flertal uthyrare utmed hotellets gata. Gymet imponerar kanske inte med en cykel, en roddmaskin och ett löpband men springa kan man ju hellre göra utmed stranpromenaden. Rummet städades bra och dag två hade vi t.om fått tre handdukar/badlakan (vi var tre ;-)). Inga problem att köpa med ett par öl och ta med ner i bad/bastu/relax avdelning som var helt OK och kom till nytta. Det fanns även takterrasser som var mysiga att sitta och äta frukost på alternativt ta en öl/drink på kvällningen. Lagom promenad in till de delar av stan som har mer av nattliv (även om det fanns ett par helt OK barer inom "krypavstånd") vilket gör området lite lugnare och det var också bra. Kort promenad upp till Palmas bästa restaurang lite bakom hotellet. Personalen i receptionen, frukostmatsalen och baren var trevlig och hjälpsam och vi är väldigt nöjda med valet av hotell. we hadden een kamer met fantastisch uitzicht (eigen terras) leggedeelte van de klerenkast te krap; verder nergens een lade voor kleinere voorwerpen, nachtkast onpraktisch, bij de tocador stond een poef een stoel zou in de twee-persoonskamer wel makkelijk zijn geweest
