Mercure Troyes Centre - Troyes

We were on our way to Calais from Geneva and decided to break our trip with 1 night in Troyes. I think the hotel is excellent value, with convenient secure parking right next door. If I am going to be critical, at all, I would say that the coffee for breakfast was not very good - but thats such a small thing that it was no problem - I would definitely […] stay here again. Except for the odor of recent paint in my room and the noise of construction on the day of arrival, all was perfect. Very friendly personnel and clean and comfortable rooms.

We have now used this hotel twice as a stop-over driving between London and the French Alps. We found it excellent in both cases. We were given the two interconnecting rooms that we requested, which were extremely spacious modern and clean. Our pet French poodle was made welcome as well. A convenient stop for en evening to see an interesting city

We arrived at nearly 1am but it was not a problem, the staff were really helpful moving an extra bed into our room for our 2nd child and ensuring we had extra towels and pillows. Parking was convenient - you can use a lane at the back to unload with a secure car park in the basement. This was not well advertised on the website. Good location, easy walking distance to centre of town. Good size rooms. Bathroom had areas of mouldy grouting which is always disappointing and the shower head only pointed at the end of the bath which meant we could not help but get a lot of water on the bathroom floor when showering. Staff were polite and efficient though not all spoke English - […] not a problem to us as we can get by in French but given that the majority of guests appeared to be English this seemed strange. The hotel is very slightly out of town, about a five minute walk, which is not a problem. The room was large, clean, well furnished and equipped. Comfortable bed. We had a balcony too which was pleasent. Breakfast decent. Staff were very professional.

We stayed overnight on the way back from the South, was a lovely hotel, staff were great and the rooms were lovely. Only downside was that the TV didn't work properly although overnight it wasn't an issue.

We use this hotel regularly on our drive between the south of France and London. It's clean, easy to find, central, has a good car park, comfortable beds, good pillows. Only downside is the room service is very poor.

Very convenient for walking to centre, spotlessly clean but just a shame that the only two English speaking TV channels did not work and this fact did not appear to be anywhere near the top of the "To Repair" list of the hotel. This is a modern, comfortable hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, our room in particular was large, with a very comfortable bed, good pillows, separate toilet and bathroom. Excellent value for money in a 'must see' provincial French tgown.

The Hotel building was an old cotton mill and is situated in an area of regeneration about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Troyes. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious and very clean with tea and coffee facilities which is unusual in a French hotel.

Troyes is an excellent location for a weekend break, which was the purpose of our visit, and we wanted a hotel within easy walking distance to the centre and with secure parking, which the Mercure Hotel provides. We chose the hotel based on other reviews so we knew it wasn't in a 'character' building and didn't have it's own restaurant (there are plenty […] nearby). However, it provided all the things we require in a hotel, which are primarily cleanliness and comfort, pleasant staff, parking, and close proximity to the centre. I regularly drive to the South of France and take a night's stop over on the way. It was the first time I had visited Troyes and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the city. The Mercure Centre was the best hotel I have stayed in and was within easy reach of the city centre and all facilities. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff […] were charming and helpful at all times. My dogs were also welcome and settled down immediately in the quiet calm atmosphere. We stayed here for one night - had a great room - two large double beds. We didn't eat here but the hotel is so centrally situated that you can go out for meals if you wish. The hotel was very nice - good value, good location and good facilities.

Excellent hotel - much better quality than a UK 3* hotel - more likr 4*+. convenient location for anyone needing an overnight stop en-route to from UK /South France. It is worth walking 5/10 mnutes into the old town which is beautiful and lots of bars restaurants. Very very good. could not recommend enough.

Klimaanlage war zu kalt auch wenn man es hoch eingestellt hat blies immer kalter luft. Abstellen ging auch nicht. Putzequippe kam am Nachmittag einfach ins Zimmer rein ohne zu klopfen...die Herren von der Reception waren sehr freundlich. das Frühstücksbuffet war für ein vier-Sterne Hotel ein bisschen mager. Avec deux enfants nous avons opté pour la suite junior avec canapé lit d'appoint. La chambre était spacieuse, très bien. Les alentours furent la bonne surprise (Complexe Cinéma, restaurants...). J'ai apprécié également le parking facile d'accès pour la voiture et enfin le petit conseil du concierge sur les magasins d'usine (Carte 10% de remise) qui […] nous a quasiment remboursé la chambre d’hôtel. Tout d'abord à notre arrivée nous avons constaté que la climatisation de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas , il nous a été répondu d'ouvrir la fenêtre ( un peu court comme réponse pour un hôtel qui se dit à l'écoute du moindre problème !!) . Mais pas de changer de chambre . Ensuite la nuit a été troublée par une bande de jeunes musiciens qui a fait du […] bruit jusqu'à 5H 30 , autant dire qu'il n'y a pas eu de repos et pourtant c'est ce qu'on vient chercher dans ce type d'hôtel . Cet hote de grand confort est situé à proximité des principaux point d'intérêt de la ville, il est très facile d'accés. Le lieu est très bien restauré, les chambres spacieuse, est bien agencé.

Heerlijk gegeten in naastliggende resto HIPPOTAMUS. Nu gelogeerd als tussenstop reis Provence . Best wel aangenaam voor enkele nachten . Centrale ligging en toch gevoel van rust .

O hotel fica a uma pequena distância percorrível a pé do centro histórico. Possui as amenidades esperadas e o tratamento é eficiente e cortês.
