This hotel had a great king suite for a great price. My only complaint was that one of the rollers was broken off of the desk chair in room 331.

Holy cow - the jacuzzi was AWESOME. The breakfasts were AWESOME, I stayed two nights and the breakfasts were a little different each morning - but each was AWESOME. The pool was way too cold to swim in (in late April.) The neighborhood was great - just walking distance to many different varieties of places to eat (and just right off the [unheard] highway.) […] Staff was amenable. Computer room was good (for my need to look up and print out info.) I don't believe I tried the wi fi while there - so no review on same. I also was typically out during the evening wine and beer. Nice offer - but I was out enjoying Padre Island Nat'l Seashore during those hours. I am glad I read the positive reviews of this hotel, and chose to stay there as a result. The reviews are deserved. In reading any neg reviews of this hotel, sincerely, I wonder if THOSE reviews aren't meant for a different Corpus Christi Hawthorn (which sounds like it is in a not so great neighborhood.) The neighborhood of THIS Hawthorn was fine. Really I think my favorite part of this place (JUST edging out the killer breakfasts) was that jacuzzi. Sincerely, take a long walk at PINS, maybe ride the horses on the beach, and then head to that jacuzzi. It is nice. Skaityti daugiau

Really enjoyed this hotel. The open bar (3 drinks per person) was a definite plus. Descent complimentary breakfast. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub.

We stayed here two noghts in april. Very pleased with the condition of the hotel. Not sure how old it was, it is either newer or has had a remodel recently. Will stay here again.

This hotel was our second choice. Our first choice, where we had stayed before, was sold out. So, this way our first stay at the Hawthorn. The price was very good and we were very pleased with the hotel in all aspects. The rooms were spacious and very clean, as was the entire hotel. The staff was very helpful. The location was good with respect to resturants. […] And even though the hotel was on a busy highway, the noise level was muted to the point that we didn't even notice. When we arrived the property appeared really nice. We arrived at 11:30 am and the front desk couldn't allow a early check in as the room they had for us was a late check out. We were asked to try back after 3 pm. We were inconvenienced at this point. When we did eventually get checked in the room was filthy. There was hair in the tub/shower, toilet, […] dishes and food was on the floor. I advised the clerk at the front desk of the room conditions. She stated that a mgr. would contact us. 3 days later still haven't heard from anyone. The only way we would stay there again if the offered a free night. The hotel was fine. The neighborhood is bad. As long as you are staying in the hotel and not venturing out beyond, it's fine. I appreciated the complimentary cocktail hour. Nice staff.

I travel 80% of the year and this is one of the nicest places I have stayed @. Breakfast is really good. Pool is awesome

This was the perfect place for us. We are grandparents who had 15 & 18 year old grandsons we were entertaining. The suite was great we had room to enjoy each other but also have our space. (we would retire earlier) and they could enjoy the TV. and have a snack as I had stocked the refrigerator and the micro made anything easy to prepare. Also, the breakfasts […] were great for teenagers. It got them out of bed at a decent hour (serving was over by 9am) and we had a healthy, more than substantial start for our daily sight seeing. My husband and I even enjoyed cocktails when we were not going to be out driving any more that day. Great guests to have stimulating conversations with during the social hour . The room and hallways were very quiet which surprised me as we had a high school baseball team on our floor and college students on the floor above. The staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful. One of our grandson's forgot his phone charger plugged in and they were very gracious about finding it and returning it to him. Loved the rooms, wifi was poor and exercise equipment was poor, 3 out of 5 machines did not work....I reported but was not fixed during our stay

The room was super roomy and divided up nicely. Nice area, convenient to where we needed to be. Parking was pretty good. Some of the staff was weird when we tried to use the milk for our coffee in the lobby. They have hot coffee 24/7, and the milk is out where you can see it, but evidently for breakfast only. They were overly serious about that. And […] the breakfast was not good if you wanted anything that wasn't pre-packaged & they ran out of fruit early. The room I booked was a King suite which the hotel "sold" as a much different room than what it was .... The breakfast was very scant and disappointing . Amenities were sparse. Flat screen tv was best thing about the room .

The Hotel Staff were friendly,helpfull and very polite. It was a very comfortable clean place to stay. Convient location for my purpose. Only minor complaint is the TV channel selection was poor.

We stayed on night for a basketball event. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the friendliness of the employees. We stayed there for only one night after a long flight over from Germany. We did not see much of the hotel, and we did not make much use of the extra amenities. All we can say is: - Clean - Good bedding - Good bathroom - Solid breakfasts - Friendly, helpful crew If the Winds Of Change should blow us to CC again we will stay here.

For the second time reservation I reserved jaccquzi within the room and promising my kids and I made sure calling twice hotels.com for the jaccquzi. Unfortunately, I find out there is no jaccquzi when I got there.

We stayed at the Hawthorn Suites for 2 nights. No problems checking in or out. Our room was very clean. The bathroom had a few spots on the ground that could've been cleaned better and our shower curtain was old&water stained. The free breakfast was ok-pretty standard as far as free breakfast goes. The hotel was just off the highway on the service road […] and very close to several major restaurants. Also, only about 10 min from the beach. The only issue I had was that when we left the hotel for the day I put the do not disturb sign on the door because we had left our belongings (including laptop&tablet) out and I had clothing&jewelry laying on the bed. Well, despite the do not disturb sign, the maids came in, MOVED our belongings off the bed &made it up anyway! Nothing was missing, but it still made me uncomfortable. I thought overall it was a decent motel compared to others. It reminded me of a super 8 and nothing in particular really stood out to me. I expected something a little better from the pictures on the internet, but they might have been taken years ago when the motel was new. Nothing fancy.....just a place to lay your head down at night.
