Nice hotel for the money. The rooms were clean and everything was nice. It's not a five star hotel but if you're looking for something cheap this is the place for you.

"Grinnell Super 8 motel - welcome relief"
The GrinnellSuper 8 was a welcome relief from the recent hot bicycle ride across Iowa. The hotel was convenient and provided a nice clean and cool room and friendly staff. I left refreshed and ready for a few more days of biking. Recommend to all weary travelers.

Attended the Iowa Speedway and hotel was close to the racetrack. Older hotel but maintained nicely. Couldn't find any restaurants open after returning from the race.

I stayed here for one night while visiting for a wedding. it is convienently located off I-80, and is off by itself. there are other hotels and a gas station close by, but thats it. grinnell is still about 5 miles away. the room itself was very "musty", but the room and bathroom were clean. for the cheap price, and only using the room to sleep in, it […] was worth it.
