Best Western Plus Hill Country Suites - San Antonijas

Breakfast was a wonderful hot meal with many choices. The room was great-- spacious and comfortable. They were very accomodating of our late arrival and friendly when we checked in. We will be back!

2 things...I had booked a suite..got a regular room...hotel is right off the freeway..so its a bit noisy at night

This hotel was older. It was ok, but not what I expected. The person assisting me book the room said it was similar in quality to another hotel I wanted that was booked. Overall it was a small hotel and outdated. Breakfast wasn't good and the hot tub was green.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family for Thanksgiving. We were very pleased with the room. The hotel staff was very nice. The bed was soooo comfortable!

The room was nice and large with separate seating area from bedroom. Internet in the room was free and great connection. Would have loved to use the pool and hot tub but it was cold (that happens so rarely in Texas!) so wasn't able to. Location of hotel was convenient to get to but a bit challenging to actually get to the hotel as the access road that […] runs in front of it is not east to get to. Hotel was in a great location and walkable to many eateries as well as a Super Walmart. That was a great place to run for needed sundries. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the comfort of the room. With 2tv.s, it would have been nice to have a separating door but otherwise, it was a great place to stay! Would return for future trips.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and comfortable. The 3rd floor hallway had a "curry" type smell and it was not an enjoyable walk to and from the room. The pool was way too cold to where my children didn't even want to swim in it. Due to road construction, it was not very easy to get on and off the highway. There is a Walmart within walking distance […] which makes getting the items that you forgot or need more of. There are a couple of fast food restaurants right next door as well. Breakfast buffet was well stocked even after 9am. Another patron had their vehicle broken into while parked in the back parking lot. I was very disappointed to see an elderly woman having to sweep up the glass in the parking lot by herself and no one from the hotel offered to help her. There were employees available, but they did not go the extra mile. She had just dealt with an upsetting experience and needed a helping hand. I'll stay somewhere else next time. Skaityti daugiau

Room was okay, wifi was weak on the 3rd floor which is a major downfall for me. We looked out the window to find the pool slime green. With bad wifi and no pool we called Hotels.com and they found us a different hotel to stay in and took care of us.

Chocolate chips cookies burned every day of our 4 day stay n drinks not any or extremely limited in choices or ran out. Morning breakfast no variety same thing each time. Housekeeping forgot to put contour sheet on bed...nothing between mattress pad & top sheet!! Lots of hair conditioner; no shampoo in room! Must have been trainee doing housekeeping! Day shift @ front desk awesome.

Very nice staff. Good hot breakfast including biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage and eggs. Nice hot tub, pool and small workout room. Plenty of room in the suite with a couch and desk to work at. Only downside was the air conditioner in the room seemed to not function at 100%.

Hotel pictures and written description highlighted the "garden tub" but ours did not have one. During our two night stay, the trash cans were not emptied in the bedroom and although the dirty towels were removed, the bath towels were not replaced with clean ones. Erik at the front desk was helpful and very nice.

The hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and well maintained. We chose this hotel because the location is close to family, and will stay there again when visiting San Antonio family.

This place is terrible. They put us in a smoker room. Go to this motel only when no other place is available.

I was good sorprised of this kind of hotel. Rooms a really big and confortable. The constructon outside of the hotel on the 281 avenue complecate a litle the access to the hotel.

First family trip w/our 9 mth old daughter. Needed a hotel that would have some extras that a normal room may not have (fridge, microwave, extra room) Also didn't want to be so close to all the downtown hotels & thanks to Expedia, we found this great place. Located off 281 and Loop 1604, I immediately liked the location since it was near a supermarket/Wal-Mart […] & even a hospital. Area reminded me of Frisco, TX (just north of Dallas) along with the traffic that comes with it. :) Was greeted warmly by the hotel clerk. Room was up on the 3rd floor and they had baggage carts available and an elevator. Vital necessities when hauling all the extra stuff our baby girl needs. Place was very quiet and calm. We were even able to enjoy the slightly chilled pool all to ourselves. Plenty of lighted secure parking which made it easy to get in and out of the hotel. The room was 2 beds and spacious to put our baby's playpen/bed. Bathroom was decent size & stocked with extra towels and toiletries. The microwave/fridge area was very useful for the baby's formula & snacks/drinks we brought. The "hot" breakfast was lacking. I was able to get toast, cereal, coffee but our eggs/bacon/biscuits & gravy were all cold. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. They migjt want to spend spend some money on cleaning the carpet and I wouldn't sit on the couch. but, the bed was clean and comfortable. Don;t rely on the laundry room, as the dryers never did get my clothes dry.

This hotel was very clean and room was comfortable. I wasn't there much so I didn't see much of the hotel or immediate area, but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It isn't overly fancy, but it was very clean and the room was comfortable and easily accessible from 281. Would have appreciated a newer television in the room. Plenty of workspace […] in my room, with free wireless internet access. Even had a couch in the room. The stay ended okay. I had trouble getting a good room and had to chane 2 times. The air conditioner was not working in first room. We were able to get new room at 10:00 pm. The next room was great but had to be moved due to it already being booked.

You pay what you get, although the problem I had was, the house keeping doesn't keep an eye on the floor, they didn't vacuum the other side of the bed which you cannot see from view.

The staff was friendly. We only had one remote control for 2 TV's. The suana wasn't working for 3 days. The keys didn't work for the back entrance to get in from the pool. A little difficult to navigate the road to get to the hotel.

Great Hotel and the Free Breakfast every day was great. Eggs, Bacon, Bisquits & Gravy, Sausage. I will stay at this Best Western again on any future trips to San Antonio. Seaworld was 18 miles away and Riverwalk 15 miles. Walmart & Sonic next door was great too. Lots of restaurants close by.

Booked this room thru Hotels.com. When we checked in we were given a smoking room. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. When asked to be moved to a new room, we were told no non-smoking rooms were available. The staff helped as much as they could. On our final night we were moved to a non smoking room.
