The room was clean and comfort -Hotel was clean what else could you ask for.

For the most part, every thing was fine. I would stay there again. Two gripes, No computer for clients and no Do Not Disturb signs for the door. Every day the maid service would knock on the door to see if we were out of the room, or needed anything. Every day, they were way to early for us.

In an area where there isn't much affordable around, this place is extremely affordable. The room was simple, but very clean. There wasn't any coffee put out at the breakfast bar at 5am, as I was told there would be, but there was coffee in the room. Everything was fine except the breakfast ended at 9:30 which, for a Saturday morning, was a little early.

In town for a family funeral and had initial reservations about a small town hotel, however, we were quite pleased with the Super 8. Rooms were very clean and in great condition. We were in Norwich on the recommendation of a friend who told us about the car museum. It was amazing and interesting for anyone. Presentation included period clothing, aeronautical pieces, very high quality and uncommon cars. Excellent! . We also ate at Nina's Italian Restaurant on Broad Avenue also friend-recommended. For the price this is a well-run, clean place to stay. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I recommend this Motel 8 to anyone who is staying in the Norwich, NY area. Every morning I was awaken by someone from the floor above...there was little or no sound-proofing between the third and second floor. Squeaks and the sound of heavy feet walking.

Personnel were very courteous and attentive. Hotel was clean. The only problem was one of our rooms (207) must have been freshly painted and the paint odor lingered. We needed to open windows to air out. The room only had two available electrical outlets, one of which was in the bathroom. My husband and I each had a laptop, phone and Kindle that needed to be charged. Having only 2 outlets made this difficult. I do not think this hotel is well-suited for individuals who need to work during their stay. The continental breakfast was also better than expected. The hotel offered Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and bagels, plus oatmeal, cereal, juice and toast. We stayed one night while traveling through the area. The price was good and they did offer basic pre-packaged muffins and bagels to get you on your way. Bathroom clean, room a good size and TV worked. We asked for a non-smoking room but could still smell smoke in our bedding and in our clothing when we got home. Hotel staff was not helpful at all. They were very rude and did not care. Hotel also needs some major updates. I had to find a different hotel to stay at because I was so dissatisfied.

In Cooperstown where we spent our day the least expensive hotel that we found was 4 times the price of this one. Dingy room with well-worn furnishings, an outdated TV that didn't work, and a note in the room that said something along the lines of "One of our water heaters is not working, so you may or may not have hot water at any given time." No warning about this at check-in, and when I turned the bathroom sink water on, it spurted air and dark brown water for […] about ten seconds before it ran somewhat clear. Showered that night so I wouldn't have to take a chance on a cold shower in the morning. Only chose Super 8 because I read some bad reviews about the HoJo down the road. The Super 8 is not fancy but the room was clean, the front desk pleasant, and the air conditioning was powerful and quiet. There was plenty of hot water and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows.My dogs were made welcome with no extra charge. Nice place.

This hotel was nice but we were very suprised that there was a full size bed in our room and no refrigerator or microwave. They were also going to charge us $3.00 for NOT using the room safe? The experience was kinda odd but not bad.
