Perfect place for couples - the screened porches were perfect. Nice and quiet - rooms are extremely roomy and were maintained.

This is a smaller Hyatt property on the quiet side of Key West. It is a bit of a hassle to get anywhere but we determined that cab service works best -- $18 for 4 people and the wait for a cab is hardly ever more than 5 minutes. Construction on US 1 on the bay side caused some delays. The property itself is very nice. Limited tiki bar, lovely pool, […] great staff, well-kept grounds. Rooms are spacious -- 2 bedrooms with 2 king beds are a little rare in the Keys so that was well appreciated. Good quality linens and nice stocked kitchen. The best feature though is the screened in porch. We had leisurely coffee on the porch every morning and wine on the porch most evenings. Our stay was very enjoyable. the only concideration that i would stay somewhere else next time is the lack of a fitness center on the property. i was also dissappointed about being charged for a later checkout when the front dest acknowledged they did not hav anyone staying in the room after us and the house keeping did not usually come each day until […] after 3pm. This hotel looked great online, and driving up to the resort, it appeared to live up to its promise. However, when we entered our room, the tile floors were filthy and appeared to have not been cleaned for a long time. We asked the front desk for a mop but it was past 5pm so they were locked up. We ended up mopping the floor with towels and soapy water […] in the bathtub. We had to empty the water in the bath several times because the water was so black. This had the secondary benefit of cleaning the tub, which had lots of dirt stains in it! The next evening we asked for a vacuum cleaner because the rugs were also filthy. We thought maybe they would be taken care of by the cleaning service but apparently not. We did get a vacuum and we asked if we could keep it for the rest of our stay. They said, sure, they didn't need it. Nice location and features at this hotel. But if you stay here, you may want to bring a mop! Skaityti daugiau

I stayed at the Hyatt Beach house with my wife and two young children (1 and 3 years old) for 4 nights. We were originally booked for 5 nights, but decided to cut our trip short due to our disappointment with the suite. It was quite expensive, and when we arrived, we noticed that after walking around in the unit, all of our feet were black. I mentioned […] that to the front desk the next morning, and they did send someone in to do a better clean, but we noticed that they only cleaned the main traffic areas. A day or so later I was bathing my 18 month old son in the ensuite, and he inadvertently pressed the button for the jets and the tub, and it shot out A LOT of dark hair from the jets. We showered from then on… The resort charges a $25/day resort fee. It was explained to me that it was for parking and Wi-Fi. When I said the wi-fi didn’t work, the front desk associate just shrugged her shoulders. Overall, the suite just appeared dated, and in need of a renovation and cleaning. The staff at the hotel also was very apathetic and I got the impression they just didn’t care. This experience actually caused me to start writing reviews, as I travel often, and never leave feedback. Nice pool area and grounds, but room had extremely dirty floors (tiles). Last day there we noticed mold on the guest room ceiling (where our daughter was sleeping). :( Have stayed here twice before and enjoy how this hotel is on the "quieter side" of Key West. We had some loud guests below us and to their credit the front desk did promptly send someone […] from security to kindly ask them to keep it down. This facility should have an exercise room on site with the best of equipment instead of telling us that we would have to go to another site to use theirs. Also, if we should have to go to another site, then there should not be a charge for the shuttle van. More local information and coupons/discounts should be offered upfront upon check-in instead […] of us having to ask for this information. Hotel was very pretty, staff very friendly. Pool area very nice also. The walls of our unit were paper thin - you could hear everything going on in every room. Housekeeping rarely came to our room & when they did, didn't do the best job. Our carpet was never vacuumed in the 5 days we were there. When I reported a leak on the outdoor porch, maintenance […] fixed it right away & a follow up call was made to make sure, which was appreciated. They offer a shuttle to the other end of Key West, which is a great idea since parking by Duval St. can be challenging. However, the cost is $5/per person. The resort should really offer as a courtesy to help encourage less traffic down on Duval. Also if you don't catch the 9:45am shuttle the next one isn't until 3:45. Since this was our 1st time to Key West I think a hotel closer to Duval would have been better. Nothing really around the hotel to walk to so you would need to drive to leave the grounds. We spent two nights at this hotel located on the east side of Key West. There were several issues we had with our room. First, one of the hinges on the door to the room was broken, which made opening and closing the door very difficult. We also had a very slow draining sink in the 2nd bathroom and the overhead light was out in the master bathroom. We […] notified the front desk and all issues were resolved to our satisfaction within an hours time which was impressive. Other minor complaint was that the BluRay DVD player in the room wasn't connected to the TV - we were able to figure out that the cable was not plugged into the TV and resolved the issue ourselves. Last complaint was the lack of toilet paper in the master BR - not sure why housekeeping didn't replenish. Last issue we encountered twice was that the room keys did not work after a period of time. We were told that this can happen if the keys are in close proximity to a cell phone or digital camera - really? -anyway it was resolved with another visit to the front desk. The hotel is in a good location on the quiet side of KeyWest which was perfect for our family. The room was spacious and provided all of the amenities we needed, refrigerator, microwave, TV/DVD player. The hotel had movies available which we used each night for the kids. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool. There is no restraunt at the hotel but several are available close by the hotel. Too many visits to the front desk for our vacation. Skaityti daugiau

Roomy, clean, comfortable rooms, with private screened balconies. Quiet at night and still close enough to all the action. Hurricane Hole across the street was a great close by restaurant and the Tiki Hut bar on site was great. Best mojitos around and great bar tender. The zero entry pool is great and the man made beach was nice for laying out and relaxing. […] Rent a couple mopeds for the week and you are set. Free and secure motorcycle parking everywhere downtown right on the street and if you drink too much the hotel has a van for $5 a person or you can share a cab. The staff was also very helpful and had coupons and fliers for just about everything you could do. On site we saw iguanas and little lizards everywhere, but never saw any manatees. We spent three days in Key West and the condo was a good six for three adults and six kids and very well appointed. The "beach" area is not really beach, but it is a nice illusion for sunbathers. The pool was very shallow so not much for swimming, but there were other nice amenities around the pool area like Weber gas grills and a couple hammocks to […] hang out in. The only thing bad about this hotel is the swimming pool. It is too short, only 4 feet deep and could be larger to accomodate more guests. It was very crowded.

Took our kids (13 & 16) and everybody had a blast. The hotel is away from the Duval debauchery but close to everything if that's what you want. The "beach" part is a little misleading since there really isn't a beach there per se. But overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to family and friends.

Accomodations were perfect. We had 2 bedroom suite. It was safe, spacious clean and had everything we needed. It even had washer and dryer and a covered patio with very good furniture tom relax on. We thought the hyatt was excellent. There were six of us and we had plenty of space, clean rooms, sheets, towels etc. The only downfall was we checked in late and didn't look over everything the hotel had to offer for a couple of days so we definitely missed out on some of their special offers.

The room was clean and we did get maid service almost daily. The down side was you can hear everything in the neighboring rooms as well as people sitting in the screened in porches. The room was never cool during the day/night even though we had the the thermostat set to 60. We called maintenance their answer was to leave the sliding doors open. The […] concierge person Giovanni was rude and not helpful at all. Shuttle from hotel to Old Town costs $5 pp each way -- I would have liked to see complimentary shuttle service. We have travelled to many different types of resorts over the world, so we would rate this resort ok, not very good or excellent. We liked the small setting, nice lay out of the rooms, nice enclosed balcony, fully equipped kitchen and pool. Areas for improvement: 1) why does the maintenance around the pool (especially noisy) have to start @8:30am, also […] 2) the cleaning service cart should have rubber wheels, so it does not feel like an earthquake when they pass. 3) front desk could be a bit friendlier and the 4) pool bar is too secluded. Lastly, location of the the playground is a joke, there are transients hanging out only 50 yards away and sprinklers make everything wet, not very useful to bring your little ones....... The property is beautifully landscaped and very lush. The young lady that checked us in was not overly friendly but acted professionally and competently. I was surprised to see that the parking area under the units is not paved but is covered in some type of gravel. Plan on carrying your suitcase as you can't roll it through it. There are multiple stairways […] for the 3 floors or you can use the typically slow elevator. The units are large, comfortable and decorated well. There were 6 of us, 3 couples, and we were all felt like there was plenty of room. The screened in balcony/patio was a favorite of all. The two king beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Those who slept on the sleeper sofa were surprised that it slept as well as a bed with no back pain for anyone. The cleaning/restocking crew missed leaving coffee one day and any wash cloths the next. The hotel office closes about 9PM, so make sure any requests you have occur before then or they go unfulfilled until you call again in the morning. We had a rental car so distance to things was not an issue for us, but I wouldn't want to stay here without transportation. Skaityti daugiau

After riding the island highway to get to key west, the lobby area smelled wonderful and looked inviting. We received a very warm welcome and check-in took less than 5 minutes. Our room was clean and the pool area was awesome. Although I would have preferred a better beach behind the hotel, it gave us reason to explore the island, and have a great time […] on the scooters we rented which the shuttle picked us up to get. This is a time share set-up that worked perfectly for a family. Two king size beds, huge master bathroom, living room area, dining and kitchenette. Beautiful location exellent facility for relaxing and enjoying quiet peaceful surrondings. Off the beatten path but close enought to still enjoy all Key West life. The pool and surrondings were kept emaculant as well as the rest of the resort. Will definatley stay again.

Our stay at the Hyatt Beach Resort was wonderful. We enjoyed were able to enjoy restfull and peaceful nights. The beds were very comfortable and the other amenities were lacking for nothing. Even a top of the line blender in the kitchen! The only thing I wish they had was a breakfast/lunch restaurant and a bar. Other then that it was perfect!!

We property has beautiful landscaping and a nice pool. Our unit had a fully equipped kitchen (Including an oven and a dishwasher!) which is great for light meals. The screened porch had comfortable furniture and a view of the Gulf. The staff was very friendly.
