We had to look for a hotel with a kitchen included since we have an infant. It was inexpensive compared to the rest of Oahu. Considering you are walking distance from the beach and in the Waikiki area, it was worth it. My only complaints were about the maintenance of the rooms and cleanliness. We felt the smell of stale air as soon as we walked in and […] had to ventilate the place to dampen the smell. It wasn't too bad after that. I was worried but found NO bugs. The towels were replaced pretty often and trash was removed frequently. However I found that they had adequate utensils but the knife was pretty blunt and needed an effort to cut anything. Internet is not included and neither is parking. I paid $20 for parking per day and $24 for internet for the week. They had a clean pool. Public transportation is pretty close by and actually found it pretty comfortable. The location was awesome since it was in waikiki area and to me the beach was in walking distance (10-15min). we only stayed one night and i was glad for that. we had a "3 room suite" turns out it was a two room with an ajoining room. the hotel rooms were really old looking. everything look old and run down. the bathroom floor looked like it needed to be bleached. the shower was so dirty that I only washed my hair in the sink as I was going to be at a different […] hotel the next evening. it was really close to shopping areas and the beach. I went downstairs to use the computer and paid for 30 minutes to print my boarding passes and after 12 minutes of getting errors, it told me I needed to purchase more time as the remaining 18 minutes were not enough to print what i needed. what a crock, my passes finally printed after paying a total of 10 dollars for what should have been an hours time and was actually only 15 minutes. what a racket. For the money, it was ok. It is a very old hotel and the rooms could use some renovating. I wore my sandals when I showered. It was only a couple of blocks to walk to the beach and shopping. The breakfast was very Japanese and 2 buses of Japanese tourists came in to eat while we were there.

I stayed here for two days. Releatively, it is clean and the staff is nice. And it is also cheap. With that being said, they charge WIFI and the it is a little expensive. You can find free wifi in the apple store or other department stores though. They don't have cutting board. The bathroom is very small. It is too close to the next building.

The staff and location was wonderful. Hotel was older but the maintenance personnel were always making improvements to make the surroundings look and feel inviting.

Very noisy, scary neighborhood, lock off door not locked, could hear neighbors and see their room lights, beautiful pool, friendly staff, room smelled of mildew or smoke

It was the worse place I have stay on my life, they charge for every single thing including, WiFi, $ 9.00 dlls a day for that, coffee for you coffee maker is not included a $1.00 for a single serving, parking $20.00 a day. I will never come back to that place nor suggested to anybody .

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The location was great for the price and a short walk to the beach, however if you are sensitive to noise, it's not going to work for you. You can hear everything happening on the streets below. The rooms were old and in need of a refresh. I paid same price as Ala Moana which is a way cleaner and newer hotel last year,this hotel is only good for someone spent the entire day outside and just need a place to sleep, i will only pay no more than $50 per day but not close to $200.

........... PROS........... the staff was very nice and hospitable. Service was good and tried to accommodate all our requests (roll-away bed, extra sheets, iron and board, bottle opener). Location is great! Close to the beach, all major buses, shopping, restaurants, and sights .................... CONS ........... we had a 1BR suite, the couch in the […] living room was run down, old, and uncomfortable. our lanai (balcony) faced a parking garage. from the 2nd floor it was very, very noisy at night with trucks, buses, and rowdy people passing all night - making it hard to sleep. appliances and amenities are outdated and very basic. ........... SUMMARY............. if you are looking for comfort, peace & quiet, or R&R - this is not the place. This was a large old unit. It smelled strongly of bleach. My pet peeve was trying to get our luggage into and out of the parking area, for which we were charged an additional $20.00. The elevator into the parking area was locked out, and we had to cart our luggage around the front of the unit. We stayed here for 8 nights in January, 2013. The location is perfect, but the hotel is not very nice. The room smelled musty when we entered. The taps in the bathroom were so old and worn that you had to screw them shut very tightly to get the water to stop running. At one point, the toilet would not stop running. We put in a maintenance request, and […] they did attend to it promptly. The desk staff was very accommodating. You get what you pay for. This was a cheap way to stay in a convenient section of Waikiki. Also, our "suite" was really just a rather small hotel room with a tiny section devoted to kitchen appliances. Service got better after complaining about bad service. Learn to speak up and u will get better service. Even though I rated everything just OK, I would recommend the hotel because it is moderately priced, has a convenient parking facility at a moderate price and is conveniently located in the center of Waikiki. I rated the condition only 2 because there is renovation work going on around the pool, but I realize that is temporary.

A relic from the 1960's, it looks like it needs a facelift, but the rooms were large, clean and comfortable and, with the discount, it was great value for money. Lewers Street is pretty quiet - we were on only the second floor and heard no street noise. Air-cond was effective but a little noisy. Two large flatscreen TVs, with a range of local and some […] limited cable stations. Bathrooms were fine. No private laundries, but the communal ones were cheap - but there are no irons or ironing boards! There is a gift store and a tour planning office on site. We were 2 adults and 4 kids and there was no problem with space in our rooms. The pool is great, but the attached restaurant is very ordinary - which is not a problem because there are a lot of good local eateries. Excellent location for public transport - the main bus routes East and West of Waikiki are just around the corner on the next block, and there is a good corner store. Staff were all very good and very helpful. The kitchens are pretty basic, but if you're on holidays how much home cooking are you seriously going to do? It's a bit of a hike to Waikiki Beach, but my 8 year old could do it in 15 minutes. Also, being at the western end of the strip it's actually easier and quicker to get to get to the (much less crowded) Ft DeRussy Beach. Skaityti daugiau

The parking is not at the hotel, but about a 2 minute walk. Pool is not great. We liked that the hotel was a studio with a mini kitchen but everything was outdated and not my idea of a clean standard for hotels.

Couldn't tell if the shower was old or dirty. Parking at the site was one way in and out and very close. Parking at the off site was a lot better and not far to walk to.

Price relative to the location was good. Room was small and worn but had good facilities. Same can be said for the hotel in general. I would recommend it to others.

we were on a 'working vacation' so weren't looking for a 5 star hotel, so this was an appropriate choice. Staff was friendly, great location, and nice ambience overall. But the hotel is a bit shabby, could use a good cleaning and a bit more attention from housekeeping staff. Parking cost $20.00 a day less than expected.Saved a lot of money not eating out every day having a kitchen made are week long stay more comfortable. Staff is very freindly and informative,we planned to see everything by car they help us locate places on a map.Beach items you can borrow.

Great location, but badly in need of renovation. Bed sheets and towels were threadbare. Lights were not working. Carpets looked dingy and the deck door was hard to open. We chose this because it had a kitchenette, but everything looked so musty and unwelcoming that we ended up not using the kitchen and tried to minimize our time in the room.

the daily cleaning was inconsistent - we did not always get the daily amenities & facecloths and one day we weren't even cleaned until we phoned to complain about it later in the day. The floor wasn't vacuumed and the sheets were not changed every 4 days as it states in their profile. I know when we checked out, the sheets on the bed had been there […] at least 10 days. It is an old hotel, but they are trying to keep it maintained. In previous years a continental breakfast was provided, but this has been discontinued. This hotel was conveniently located near Waikiki activities. It is an older low-rise building that could use some upgrading. The staff was pleasant and our room was quiet. Parking was $20.00 extra per night, but we could park in the garage at the hotel site.

The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel was not in good condition. A lot of run down parts and cleanliness was poor. The suites are too small. The one or two bedroom rooms are much better and roomy just not that clean looking. The parking garage is very small and not easy to manuver in. I recommend a hotel more on the main Waikiki strip.

Hotel and room is smell stinky. It is horible when first step into the room. The smell of carpet contaiminated food inside the room. I have to turn on AC to suck the smell out of the room. the building is old. The parking space is limited. Most of guest have to park in pubblic parking building 1 block away hotel with cost of $20/night.

Our first time in Hawaii and let’s just say things are real different here. Their customer service is non existent. Their housekeeping is non existent. Their beds feel like the ones they have a camp. We had to ask several times to have our room cleaned and this was after 3 days without service. I had to demand they change the sheets, because I asked […] them twice before we left only to return after being out the entire day with a 2 year old…and they didn’t even come into our room. The front desk says she’ll see if there is anyone there that can change them or they would just drop the sheets off. I got off of my high horse and said “I am not changing the sheets!” “You need to get someone up here to do it!” Well I guess I should have been a little nicer, since the sheets they brought us were worst then the ones we already had on the bed…the “clean” ones had stains, holes, and were so thin you could see through them. Oh I forgot the best/worst part. Upon our arrival and entry of our room I had to immediately call the front desk and have them remove the bedspreads. They were visibly stained beyond repair…and we never saw them again (thankfully). Would I stay here again? No, not ever, no way, no how. Was it a great deal for someone that thought they wouldn’t mind staying there? Yes. Would I recommend this place to anyone? No Skaityti daugiau
