Super 8 Monticello - Monticello

This hotel was very clean. Little dated but we just needed a place to sleep comfortly. The front desk was very helpful in locating a nice place to eat. For the price (we will be back).

Stay was great. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Pool was nice to swim in but needed a little repair. Chiped pool bottom. Would have been nice if they had a fitness room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room had a base bord heater that would not adjust. was always on. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was quite comfortable and everything was very clean EXCEPT the little coffee maker in the room. The inside water reservoir of the coffee maker was NASTY DIRTY! Large LG flat screen TV in our room had very poor picture quality. The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE!

The hotel has a basic continental breakfast which was great before our day of shopping. We also went for a swim in the huge indoor pool. Very nice. The rooms were very nicely renovated.

Nice and quiet, clean room and close to restaurants, Walmart, gas stations and 10 minutes away from the Albertville outlet mall. I'll be staying again.

We have stayed in Monticello before - we backtrack from the outlet center to save a few dollars but it is only 5 minutes. My main complaint about this hotel as with the other hotel we stayed in over the weekend - the hotel provides one nightstand for 2 beds. So if you have 2 people in a bed, the person on the outside has no place to put their glasses, […] or book or whatever, they dont have a clock either. What a great hotel to stay on the way to Minneapolis. We have used this place as our jumping ground for our last two shopping trips. Coming from Winnipeg, it is a bit of a drive but we arrive late and get to relax in a comfortable and clean room that allows us to wake and start off at Albertville. Excellent value for the money!!

It was a nice clean stay. The breakfast was enjoyable. My kids loved the pool. Very modern room, I was comfortable.

The hotel is very difficult to spot with only one small sign on the side of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable, although there was a weird smell both days. Our room had someone else's dirty smelly socks in the closest. Our bath tub was not cleaned the second day we were there and the complimentary breakfast was inadequate.

the location are close to ammenities( gas station, restaurant, 11 mins from Albertville Premium Outlets), the room was clean complete with a ref and microwave. I would stay there again if I had a chance and would recommend it to friends...

we have only a few suggestions: it was difficult to find since there is no sign from the side we came in from. There were no roll aways. The manager (it appeared) reprimanded an employee while my 18 year old son and I were present. That should be done in private.

I read the reviews before I stayed at this hotel. I stayed a week. Here's my thought. The people writing the reviews have never stayed at a 4 or clearly a 5 star hotel. At best, the Super 8 Monticello is a 3 star hotel. Yep, there's a big bed, towels and if you ignore the hair in the tub, you'll get by. This is a typical doors slamming all night, not […] sure if you should take a dip in that pool hotel. Wear shoes if you're going to walk in there and oh, there's not a big highway sign to find this place so plan on driving in circles just to find it. They did attempt to remodel, I will give them that, but the old vinyl wallpaper is still there and the carpet has to be out of 1980. For a Super 8, this hotel is great. The quality of the rooms is equal to much more expensive hotels. The bed was very comfortable. The bedding was of an updated style. The Hotel was in a great location and had been newly remodeled. The Pool was great for the kids. There was no hot tub, which I found disappointing. The hotel service wasn't all that great. We had left early in the morning for Dance and when we returned after 1pm our room hadn't been cleaned. I made lunch for the kids and then we went to the pool at […] 2. When we got back to the room after 5 it still hadn't been cleaned. I stopped at the front desk to ask for house keeping before leaving for the evening. They informed me that there was no house keeping staff available. So I asked if I could get clean towels to our room, To which I was told to stop back when I got back and pick them up. Only about 8.5 miles on the highway from the Albertville Outlet mall, this was a comfortable and clean yet inexpensive hotel. The attendant was also very friendly and helpful, offering to provide us with a Wyndham Rewards account so we could earn points for our stay. We had a large room on the upper floor with a king sized bed, 4 large fluffy pillows, […] side tables, flat screen TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker! We didn't even use the microwave and fridge (which made a bit of a noise, though we got used to it) but it would definitely have been handy if we'd been staying for an extended period of time. The bathroom was clean and beautiful with granite countertop, a 1 piece shower/tub and tiled floor. The hotel also offered a pool and the typical self-serve breakfast, which we did not take advantage of. We came to do some shopping at Albertville and Mall of America. hotel staff was GREAT!! helpful with directions, food choices & hotel service. the only bad thing was we couldnt find the hotel! they are in major need of a sign, actually 2 one near road and on on the building facing cedar otherwise the aren't easy to locate.

The service was wonderful. The rooms were nice with refrigerator and microwave. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the pool was a good size. The kids especially liked the belgium waffles for breakfast! We would definitely stay there again!
