The staff was great...especially the lady cleaning the room and the maintenance man ( He brought a refrigerator and microwave to our room when we ask him if he thought we could be moved to a room with those amenities!) We booked 4 nights there and prepaid so had no choice to stay but the room was very uncomfortable. Old stained carpets, looked like […] mildew om the mattresses, old musky smell, etc. We will not be staying here again and it really is a shame because the staff was very nice and the location was perfect! They did have Wifi!! Lots of pillows with nice white sheets and pillow cases!! The parking lot was empty all 4 nights we were there!!! Again....LOVE THE STAFF!! :) Skaityti daugiau

Needed to stop for the night on my way to the Outer Banks for business. Couldn't have picked a better place. Very safe, clean and comfortable. Just the perfect distance between home and NC. Great rate and diner next door for breakfast. One stop and on the road again. Thanks, I'll stop again.

Out of the 6 days of traveeeling my Wife and I had done that week, this was undoubtably the best hotel we stayed at that week. Very friendly reception and the room was very clean and the beds made feel like I was on a cloud. Great stay !

The staff was friendly and helpful - recommended a great restaurant for dinner on Thursday night. Shower was very clean (I suppose if was fairly new) the shower nozzle was great! Nice covers on the bed and comfy pillows. The breakfast was adequate, not spectacular, but after all, it was a Continental breakfast. The first room I was given felt wet and smelled moldy. There was a water stain and mold growing on the bathroom ceiling The air conditioner didn't seem to take any moisture out of the air. I immediately went to the front desk and was told they were completely booked. OK but A/C on full and room too cold when arrived. Handle for sink faucet loose. Bed was comfortable. Clock was unplugged. Shower was good but shower curtain not the best at keeping water contained to inside the tub. Musty smell to room. Desk clerk was friendly and professional. Spent a night en route south. Clean and quiet, had coffee and continental breakfast in the morning. Decent price, on par with other Best Westerns we've stayed at. Just what we needed for a quick overnight on road trip.

Nice hotel. pictures are pretty accurate. WiFi is in the hotel lobby only, not in the room. One computer terminal for guests to use. Front desk people were friendly. We asked two separate times for ideas about eating- one for a place to go to dinner and one dessert location. Both times the people working the desk were very helpful. The area doesn't […] have much to offer after 5PM. There is a restaurant/bar next door, but we never checked it out. It's about 1 hour drive to visit Chincoteague island and surrounding areas where you can kayak, bike, hike or bird watch. There is a large antique mall 10 minutes down the road with a huge selection of things to look at. We went to the Island restaurant about 20 minutes away for a nice dinner Sunday evening, but the selections on weekday evenings for evening dessert places were a bust. We ended up at McDonald's. There's an Italian Restaurant nearby, but was closed Monday evening. The pool was refreshing for a swim. I had the place to myself one day and I saw one family enjoying it another afternoon. The breakfast was okay. There wasn't any waffle batter both days we were there which was a big disappointment. They did have bagels and sweet bread, toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and cold/hot cereal available. The room was great. Had a nice sleep each night, no noise, great air conditioning, hot shower, hot coffee in the room. TV was outdated, but who cares? Skaityti daugiau

we arrived for a 3:00 check-in. We were given keys an hour later and discovered the room was not yet cleaned. We waited another half hour before being given another room. So our wait was an hour and a half. No one seemed concerned that we had such a long wait. One person said she would check on our room and never returned evidently she went home. The […] room we finally obtained was next to the kitchen which had a TV on all night. We had been on the road for 6 hours and were not happy that we had to sit in the lounge for an hour and a half and watch people being given rooms before we were finally given a room to relax in. we realy liked the staff they were so helpfull and polite.the breakfast room was also very nice lots to choose from to eat and drink plus t.v.the pool needed cleaning better but we have had a lot of rain so it eats the chemecals out.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet with helpful staff. WiFi worked extremely well. Complimentary breakfast OK for the price. In the morning, however, there was no hot water so showered and shaved with luke warm water which is why I gave a 3-star rating. Did mention the issue to the lady at the front desk.

Staff very pleasant. When we told them we were leaving at 6AM they said they would open dining area for us even though they normally don't open til 6:30AM. And they did.

We booked a non smoking room on Expedia and got stuck in a smoking room. They claimed to have no other rooms available. It smelled like an ash tray. We got there at 1:00AM though and had to stay there.

The entire staff were exceptionally nice and efficient, particularly the woman in charge of the breakfast. The room was very clean, although the carpet could use a shampoo or replacement. And the breakfast was very good for this level of hotel. BUT I could have gone across the street and paid the same money and been in a very up to date room. The internet […] is not wireless and requires a cord, which they will provide upon asking. But it was still difficult to connect with because of the antiquated wiring system. The shower had very little pressure and was difficult to control the hot/cold. The room was also either cold with the air on or warm with the air turned down....It was hard to find a comfortable, happy medium. For my $ I wish I'd been across the street. Oddly, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was so I would be driving in the correct direction when it was time to leave. Skaityti daugiau

Worst hotel ever, room was smelly,damp, and the pool was empty and dirty. Very outdated hotel. Had to access room from outside nowhere near our parked car. Should have been cheapee than it was not what they charged. We booked it because of the pool. Very unhappy. Bad way to start our vacation on the way to OBX

Great hotel with all the accomodations i needed to make home away from home comfortable. Staff very pleasant, quiet hotel in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of eatery and shopping nearby, also has restaurant next to hotel. I will definitely stay again.
