"Not bad for a weekend stay..."
I stayed at this hotel for the LA rising Concert, it was not too far from places I wanted to go to, it was quiet and a clean place. I am not pickey when it comes to hotels, as longa s the bathrooms work and the beds arent completely trashed im happy. I would stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly. The gentlemen who checked us in gave us some great advice on local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area looks a little creepy but once in the hotel you forget about the surroundings. The parking garage is secure and FREE. The continental breakfast is great. Homemade waffles, fresh fruit, […] yogurt and much more. The hotel is close to the 101 which gets you into Hollywood and other locations quickly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. "Close to Dodger Stadium"
Third time I stayed here. Only complaint is the bed (matress) is to darned hard. Took me 3-days back home to get my back straightened out again. Otherwise a great location to Dodger Stadium and Hollywood.

"No compaints"
We stayed here to attend Hard Summer. It was close to restaurants, clean and quiet. I will stay there again if there are anymore music festivals near-by.

Hotel appears to have been remodeled, except for the hallway carpeting. Room was very comfortable. We were not comfortable walking in neighborhood, however. The breakfast included a variety of foods. We would stay again when overnighting in area.

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was great. The hotel was safe and secure and the free parking underground was secure as well, which was a surprize for being on Sunset. I will definatly stay hear again. The only (-) was that the hallway carpet was soileded and worn. But once inside the room it was great.
The rug was extremely dirty in the room! Really dirty!!

Overall an ok hotel, but we arrived a bit after noon and were told we could not check in until after 3. That was disappointing as we really wanted to dump off our luggage and change clothes before hitting the Walk of Fame. Rooms were clean enough but linens are very old and the blankets are fuzzy and kind of strange. Just felt unclean. Continental breakfast […] was good- hot waffles, bagels, juices and such. Parking underground is nice but slightly inconvenient and though we were told it was secure, the gates were open all day to the street and were still open when we returned at 9pm after dark.....didn't make me feel like our car and luggage were very secure. Room is ok but AC is too loud, we need to turn off it when we go to bed .Only got a problem with that thing .Service good & special very good is breakfast. I will come back to stay this hotel when i go to LA.

The hotel is fine, with free wi-fi, free parking and free breakfast. However, the neighbourhood is very run down and doesn't feel all that safe. Good location for getting to Universal Studios (bus and then subway), but that's about as far as it goes really. The staff were helpful enough. "Comfort Inn Hotel near Downtown LA"
This hotel was unbelievably clean and the breakfast constantly refreshed! We were surprised in every way by this well maintained hotel. Every spot clean and polished, even the overhead light fixtures were sparkling! Everyone was so nice and helpful and we were seemingly upgraded to a suite without any comment. The breakfast bar was unobtrusively cleaned […] and refilled frequently. No smears or fingerprints anywhere. Bathrooms were beautifully cleaned and everything in perfectly working order. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay within walking distance of Sunset Junction, close drive to the center of Hollywood and Universal studios - this is it. Clean place, courteous staff. I'd definitely stay again, and will.

"Found Comfort at the Comfort Inn"
We were visiting our son and booked this hotel because it was close to his apt in Los Feliz. We were a little hesitant about staying here when upon checking in, we saw the clerk behind a bulletproof glass wall with a speaker window and a slide-through drawer to pass our I.D. & credit card, so we're not sure about the safety of the neighborhood. The […] hotel lobby was updated & nicely decorated as was the breakfast room. The hallway carpeting was very worn & we thought the room would be a dump, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a newly updated room with new furniture, carpeting & decor. The room (on the 3rd floor) was very clean, the bed & pillows very comfortable & we felt safe. The neighborhood is probably okay to walk during the day but we didn't risk or have a need to go out at night. The hotel has secured parking under the hotel & they have a nice continental breakfast in the morning (make your own waffles, cereals, bagels, toasts, fruit, juices, etc. & pretty good coffee). I arrived late at night having made last minute arrangements. The staff at the desk were very helpful, and the room was in excellent condition. Downtown L.A. is only a couple miles away, so the location was convenient. Underground, gated parking was plentiful and safe. The only downside was that the walls were quite thin, and noise traveled from room […] to room: I needed the air on to drown out a neighbor's snoring. "Echo Park Secret"
I have friends that live only 2 mi away from the hotel so this hotel was very convenient. The rooms are very clean and the fridge and microwave are in good condition. The underground parking is very secure.

If you're planning a weekend getaway to the Silverlake arts district, this is the best place to stay. You can literally walk anywhere and hit all the best clubs to see shows, or have some great food. Chose the hotel for proximity to Good Samaritan Hospital - friendly hotel clerk, Raul - very helpful with directions - room was missing shower curtain - showed up as soon as we asked - not really too much to walt to but close to a number of sites -
"downtown & hollywood location"
we had booking in sunset strip at saharan hotel/motel. just after first night we had a very bad/unsafe experience. so we booked this place to move out from sunset strip. when we checked in felt like home. we have stayed in best western most of the time. but comfort in is very similar. i would definitely stay in comfort in chain next time.
